Chapter 20: Ch. 1.19 The real truth
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Miles knock at Kaidan's door, gun is loaded and ready, pointing at the door. He can hear a light footstep approaching before the knob twist, indicating of the door being opened.
Smiling in a twisted manner, Miles can already smell his victory.
"Hello kaidan!" using a sweet voice, he greets the man looking so shock and nervous, still holding the knob.
"Don't even think of closing the door or I'm going to kill you." he threatened again making the man nod. "Still a good boy I see. So obedient.. So trusting.. So coward.. You're still the kaidan that I know."
"What.. What. do you want?" kaidan stammered, making Miles laugh in glee.
"I'm here to kill you!" Miles whispered, going inside the house before closing the door.
With his eyes full of fear, his eyelids starts watering, Kaidan back into the corner until a chair stop him on his flee, making him sit down on the process. Looking up at the man stalking towards him, shivering when he sees the gun still pointing at him.
"Where are you going? Are you afraid of me?" Miles asked, taunting the man, shivering in fear.
"I really likes to see someone shivering and cowering in fear, it makes me so happy." holding Kaidan's chin, looking at his eyes.
"I used to really like your eyes, large, expressive, beautiful. it used to be so pure, untainted. Unblemished. Now it is full of fear, of despair. Of hate. It makes me want to pull it out." said Miles, eliciting a whimpers to the man sitting down.
Releasing Kaidan's chin, Miles sits down on the sofa, looking at Kaidan's Place.
" You're boyfriend really spoils you, giving you a luxury apartment. " Miles commented, eyeing the smaller man still cowering in the corner.
Miles wants to asked him why he is still alive when in his peripheral vision, he sees something, a photo of a family laying in a corner. A very familiar photo of a family.
" Why do you have this?" James asked, holding the picture on Kaidan's face.
"That's my family picture, my real family." kaidan replied, a tear run down on his face.
"Oh. Why did they die?" he inquired, looking so nonchalant, putting the picture down again.
"You killed them, you killed my family, Garret Patrick." kaidan spat out, with a renewed strength and courage he punch Miles on the face making the man grunt in pain.
Wiping his bloody lips, Miles smiles coldly before punching the man's back making him sit down again. " Easy their tiger! don't worry, I will help you and make you follow your family."
"Now, I want to ask you a question, are you that person who is always hacking my computer? Are you that person who threatening me, using the killer's identity?"
Silence. Miles Questioned mets a total silence. Gritting his teeth, he points the gun at kaidan.
" Answer me! " Miles really loud voice making kaidan flinch.
"You killed my family, I want revenge."
"Do you have any evidence? No, never mind, after killing you, I'll just set this place on fire together with your body." Miles smiled, stating his plan.
"Do you want to know more about what I have done?" he asked, sitting again on the sofa looking in anticipation of Kaidan's answer.
Kaidan shook his head. Looking so pitiful, his chin starts forming some bruises, Miles masterpiece. A wound can be seen at the end of his eyebrow painting his face and neck in some kind of bloody abstract art.
"Too bad, I want to say it anyway. You must listen carefully, I'm going to tell my darkest secret, the catch is, all those who knows mine all dies, you will be next."
Kaidan whimpers when he heard him, eyes flowing in tears. Pleading him to spare his life.
"Don't cry. Every person will die, yours is just earlier than them. Now, stop whimpering and listen to my story. My first kill is my sister, she keep on getting me into trouble, a small push on a rooftop is all it takes. My easiest kill." he said, reminiscing the exalting feeling.
"You're sick!" Kaidan spit out.
"I have the gun remember? My second kill, a total accident is your parents, my truck lose a break causing it to collide. I don't know what to do that time, I will surely be end up on jail, so when I see Miles pulled up to help, I killed him, stuffing him inside the truck, driving away, using his identity." looking at the gun in his hand.
"I killed a total of ten using this gun, I killed all the people who knows my secrets, hired killers, my secretary and even a passers-by."
Glancing at the man, sitting at the corner, quietly crying.
"As a gift for you, a thank you gift for informing me about my so called son, I'm not the only one who plans and stages that blackmail. Your adopted parents help me, Your 'kind' mother is pregnant and wants to eliminate you as her child's rival. I killed them when they wants out. I did somehow deliver you some justice."
" Here's the end of your journey my friend. " Pointing his gun at the man, This time, he will surely kill this man. Two bullets on his head would surely kill him off.
Bang! Bang!
