Yun Xiangxiang noticed that Tang Zhiyu raised his eyebrows. He looked like he knew Song Mian, even feeling surprised to hear Song Mian's voice here.
She didn't bother paying attention to Tang Zhiyu; she quickly went past him to go to Song Mian and took his wrist.
Her magical eyes glimmered like the stars, and she looked up at Song Mian like a lady who wished to be protected.
Anyone could see what their relationship was if they noticed that gaze and that small, but sweet smile.
"I didn't expect to see you here, Young Master Mian," Tang Zhiyu greeted Song Mian politely.
Song Mian went closer to him. They were of similar height, and they radiated extraordinary aura; one was elegant, and the other was dashing.
They looked at each other, and it might look calm, but there was a storm brewing between them as tension rose in the air.
[1] There is a ceremony in East Asian marriages, primarily Chinese marriages, where the bride and groom must serve a cup of tea for every elder present during the day of their wedding (not necessarily the banquet, but it might be held on the same night). This is a sign of the elder’s blessing for this marriage.
