(Time Skip-Next morning-Maria's P.O.V.)
Even with that necklace I still needed to just rest and sleep after last night. We were up until like 5 a.m. but God if I know what to say about it. I can't believe that we even had a few arguments. All of which she won, cheater. But last night was still so good. That sounds kind of strange or cheesy, but i don't know how else to describe it. I mean, I can't really call myself an innocent girl right now. Not with what just happened. What we just DID. But I sure as hell wouldn't have even thought to do all of that, hell any of that, if it wasn't for Nora. And she was just, oh god she was great. I feel the side of the bed sink, indicating that she just sat down. I look up at her, and she's wearing her lazy smirk. I bite my lip, and she glares, quite pointedly at it. My mouth parts slightly as I gulp. "I don't like it when you do that." She says, then she leans over, and whispers in my ears. "That's my job." She says. And she moves back slightly, and looks me in the eyes. My breath catches, and I gulp again. Then she leans in and takes my bottom lip between her teeth. Not quite biting it, but slightly pulling on it. She let's go and looks at me, my heart is pounding. She chuckles, and her lazy smirk comes back. "After all that, you still act so innocently. But that's ok, I'm fine doing the dirty work… as long as I get that reaction." I blush, and she chucks a shirt at me. "Get dressed, little mate." She says, as her eyes wander. "You're too tempting, and we've got busy days ahead of us." She sighs and gets up and wanders to the door as I pull one of her shirts on. It's like a short dress on me. And the crisscrossing laces going down my chest don't help much. I sit at her little vanity desk that she has and I start to brush out my hair. After I make myself look somewhat presentable I go and knock on all of my packmate's doors and tell them to meet me in the lounge area at the end of the hall. Nora must be loaded because the floor we were on was huge and had many staircases. Once everyone has a seat I decided to break the news to them. "After discussing with Nora for many hours we have decided to wed, and that means that all of us are going to be apart of this kingdom." All of them looked at her, with a mix of emotions flying across their faces. "And I understand that this decision was rushed but, here we are protected and loved. Most of all we are safe, from… him." who's 'HIM'? "What about my baby, he won't be able to grow in a study environment." A girl said pointing to her slightly bulgy belly. "We can make an environment for pups. There will things that change for both sides of this family but most of all, there is nothing that can hurt us here, we have a home." For the first time I heard Jamie speak up, he looked worried, his arms on his knees, head hanging. "He will find us, we're the last survivors, he won't allow us to live. You maybe Maria but not us." Now I am worried, is he going to hurt my mate? "Nora and the kingdom won't let him get near us, I would sacrifice myself before he killed any of you." She looks to the pregnant girl. "I made a promise to Zack, You and your baby will be safe, I never go back on my word." At this moment I finally realize that these people in front of me are just kids, who don't know what they're doing, flying blind at night. Suddenly Nora clears her throat. Getting everybody's attention, to speak. It's the first time she's spoken to our pack. And at first I'm kind of excited to hear what she has to say. But all we get is one sentence. Which was greeted with a long pause. "Who is 'HE'?" She asked in her dark and dangerous tone. Everyone in the room avoided her stares, she simply growled and asked again. "Who is 'HE'?" she scans our faces, and when no one answers she pulls out her phone. Dials a number and the only thing we can hear is her say. "Bring my SPECIALIZED files to me." After a short pause, which I assume means the other person was speaking. She says in her curt, regal, and blood curling way. "You have 12 minutes. Take this time as a blessing, and have them at my little mates feet before the time is up. Every second you waste her time is a second that either we go through the normal routine... or you spend that time respectively begging her for forgiveness." She hangs up, and all of my pack mates are staring at her. I look over at them, even though I suspect that I know what I'll see. and to my surprise Madie, who's been sitting with Jamie, is smirking at Nora. I swear, sometimes I wonder if they have a mind link, or if they just know each other THAT well. "When were you going to tell me you have files on us. Or is that another thing I need to find out." God, why is everything so threatening with her. "She's joking, she wouldn't do anything." I send her a Don't-you-dare- look. "You're not going to find him, and once we are alone, I will tell you but I will not make our pack relive the worst thing to ever happen to them." she chuckles. "I don't have files on you…. I have files on everyone. Every person who has walked as. close as 10m to this court, every person who's so much as looked at it gates. Anyone who I found out was talking about it. Every member of this coven. Even their distant relatives. Every person a vampire has ever killed. Their families, even if it's only suspected to be a vampire. Every person in the nearby city, and their families. Every other coven. All of the witches. Any odd events, that seem supernatural. And ANY possible threats. The files have every piece of info in them." She looks at us all seriously, and sighs. "I love magic. Also you can search with only your thoughts…. As long as I let you." She says, her dark smirk playing on her lips. "Plus it ways only one pound, and looks as if it's an empty folder." My pack mates have a mix of emotions and thoughts flying around so fast that I can't even identify them. Madie speaks up then, she's still smirking too. "It took 8 witch covens, with a total of almost a thousand witches to do that." She sounds proud and smug. Why? It's not like she did --it all on her own. I think grumpily. She hugs Nora and says. "I was entrusted with making and leading the spell." She says it almost like she heard what I thought. She's still hugging Nora, I don't like it. Get her off of mate my wolf growls at me, trying to take over. "Excuse me for a minute." I stand up and walk back to our room and sit on the bed trying to calm myself down. "They're just good friends." I whisper running my hands through my hair. Why is she always like that? Hugging her, touching MY mate. I clenched my fist trying to keep my wolf down because I know that she will be worse, and I still have a lot of explaining to do to her. "She loves us, she won't hurt us." I whisper, fixing my glasses. "She loves us, right?" I question Eden but only get a huff in response, which isn't helping. Before I can get up, to go back out there I feel arms wrap around me.
