Chapter 16: End And The Beginning
In the hospital !
In a common patient room of the Lotus Hospital , there were four beds , but only the right one against the wall was occupied.
The room was not very big but it was not too small either . On the patient bed was a boy , who was 17 or 18 years old . His chest was wrapped in gauze bandages . He was a handsome boy with beautiful features , but wore a solemn and dignified face , his eyes are tightly shut .
His entire body was showing signs of vitality . But under gauze bandage was a deep scar on his chest which he got from the tree branch that saved his life .
A was a women lying beside the boy holding his palm , which was precisely his mother . Although she looked fatigued but there was a smile on her face .
" Crrr.."
The room door was opened !
A doctor came inside and does his usual checkup . The mother got anxious and asked doctor " When will he wake up ? " . After completing his checkup the doctor answered slowly " His body is still weak but he will be able to regain his conscious soon " .
What doctor said was indeed true . His condition got better since yesterday and he will be able to wake up soon . Just when the doctor leaved the room , the boy opened his eyes .
Next moment the boy opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings but he could no longer recognize his surrounding . The room he was in was completely unfamiliar within his memory and he can vaguely listen some voices which seems families .
The first thought that came into his mind was " Had he reached heaven " but it was soon kicked out of his mind when he was able to feel something warm was holding his hand .
His vision was still blurry but when he was about to move his body he felt a sharp pain on his chest as if his chest was being bombarded by a cannon .
The boy was named Manas Tiwari , 17 years old . He was born in a normal middle-class joint family , and his mother was precisely 39 years old .
The boy had already completed his senior high with biology and he had just passed out 7 months ago with above average marks in Allahabad's best school Patanjali Rishikul .
Manas's mother Sunita was 39 years old and she was an owner of a saloon and she can earn quite a bit . They had a quite a simple and comfortable lifestyle .
Manas had not taken his college examination because of this suicide incident . It was not too difficult for him to get into good college .
Manas was a cheerful boy and was in love with a girl named Riya , a student in the top class . He had devoted 5 years of his life in pursuing her but was rejected by her with some additional curses .
Riya was a pretty and beautiful girl . She was very intelligent , hard worker , talkative but somewhat rude towards boys who were not too intelligent .
They both get along pretty well but after the confession from Manas's side they became separated . He still tried to peruse her without any restrain and in the end he ended up digging his own grave ultimately .
The last time he proposed he was berated by her with her several friend publicly . This caused huge impact on Manas's mind which lead to the suicide incident .
All these previous thoughts were being played into his mind like a plot of typical love story but the only difference was that its end was not happy and slowly a drop of crystal like tears started to fall from his eyes .
After stabilizing his emotions he slowly looked towards his mother called out word with great difficult " M..Mom " . His words were like blessing for his mother and she turned her head towards him and she instantly busted into tears after listening his voice which she thought that she would never be able to listen it in the future .
" Manas , you're awake. You're finally awake…"
She immediately strode ahead , wanting to hug Manas , but was afraid that it will worsen his injuries . Thus she immediately hugged his hand tightly and started to thank god for saving her child .
" Mom , I'm awake " Manas said , holding his mothers hand in his tightly to comfort her .
" Right , right . I know that you're finally awake ! " Sunita cried out of happiness . She clutched Manas's hands in case his son would disappear for forever .
" Oh , I'll go find the doctor " Sunita realized it after sometime and ran out hurriedly .
Before long , the doctor walked in . He was also super surprised by the fact that Manas regained his consciousness so soon . It was indeed a magic !
According to his he should wake after half a month , but it still needed a comprehensive check to make sure he was really out of danger .
Therefore , the doctor arranged the exam for Manas at once . He also asked him some questions and made a detail report of it . Manas also told him about the weird dream he had seen during his vegetative state . It was bothering him because it seems too real .
The doctor told him not to worry to much because the mind just reflects his memories along with his thoughts and the way he sees things around him and it was quite common for person to dream during vegetative state .
After the examination session was over his mother asked doctor when he will be discharged . The doctor simply answered her that it will take 3 to 4 days before his wound would heal but still he need to try to walk by himself because he was unconscious for months so he needed practice .
She went to get food for his child and they began to eat together . After the meal , his whole family came to visit him . It was indeed quite a tiring for him since he just woke and he was still weak .
After chatting with them for an hour he took his medicines and went to sleep . He didn't wake up until it was night .
His mother was sleeping on her chair facing him . He can see the deep love and care from her gaze . As if she sensed his stare in her sleep she woke up instantly . Seeing that his child was awake she instantly came towards him and asked " Are you hungry , do you need something to eat ? " .
Manas instantly shook his head and said " I'm not hungry , I'm just thinking that what would have happened to you if I had..." , she covered his mouth before he could complete his sentence .
She replied to him angrily " Don't ever say this word again in front of me " . She instantly started to tear up after listening to her son but still managed to extender her hands to cease his hairs and said " Why did you want to end your life for a mere girl who doesn't even care about you ! , Will taking your life change everything ! ? , Was it worth it ha.. " .
" I'm was just feeling lifeless , it was really painful for me to bear it so..so.. it was the only way left for me end my pain " said Manas while sobbing . His eyes were looking lifeless .
" Just remember one thing that , ups and downs are the part of a life and there are no 'IF'S' in life , so you have to continue to live it until death " said Sunita while feeling sad for his child . She really wanted to rip that girl apart but she couldn't because it would further sadden her child .
She wiped his tears and said " Remember I always told you stories of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam , he sold his married sisters jewellery to go to a city for facing N.D.A examination , but ultimately end up failing it " . Seeing that his child was listening to her carefully she continued " He also wanted to end up his life that day but was stopped by a priest and the priest " .
She continued " The priest told him that god had decided everything for everyone , so what you didn't passed your exams , you are born to do something greater that it " .
After talking a deep breath she said " This was turning point of his life and this caused him to become 'Missile Man of India' , so you are alive to do something great in your life because very few people gets second chance in their lives " .
Manas was deeply engrossed in the story and after some thinking he took a deep breath and said " Yup mom , it is not end of my life but a new beginning " .
He then closed his eyes and fell asleep with satisfaction on his face . He looked like he had been matured from an hour ago .
Sunita also cried a few time and ceased his face and thought " You are definitely going to do something big " . She left the room after some time with a smile on her face as if she achived something big .

Shenazard_Zen_6748 Well you know...I was not able to post the chap yesterday bcz hmmm...My net was finished bcz i watched too many kdramas .....
