Chapter 80: Mind Eye
It's been a busy time for Austin. After the initial step of focusing his energy, He began to get use to the feeling. He kept practicing to focus his energy so he can do it when every he wanted. He wanted to get use to it and be able to perform the focus instinctively.
Austin was outside the city state. It's been two weeks since he spoke to Muliere. Austin was busy giving direction to onix to focus its power. Onix wasn't able to completely focus its force. It had an enormous size and with it strength. The difficultly of controlling and focusing its physical attribute was high.
It still didn't let up and kept trying to do as Austin ordered. Austin also bribed it with a small piece of Diamond steel. This cost Austin about a half a million pokedollars. If it wasn't for his many business ideas yielding in cash, he wouldn't have bought it at all.
"Ok onix this is our 14 lesson. Focus your energy towards your head. Look at me and do the same." Austin gathered the force on his head. Then he head butted a nearby stone. Cracks began to appear around the area attacked. Austin was satisfied with his attack.
He faced onix to see how he was doing but all he got was a look filled with disdain from onix. It headbutted a nearby stone and turned it into rubble. The it looked at Austin and roared wanting to be praised.
"You didn't even try to focus the energy this time. You actually happy you are stronger than a small human. Honestly if you keep this up, Sylveon will be able to beat you easily in the future." Austin began to lecture. Onix dropped its head down, like a child does when his mom yell at him.
"Don't worry about it here eat this huge pile of berries and we'll continue when your done." Austin pulled out from his storage pendant a bunch of berries. Onix with new found vigor, began to devour the food as if it hasn't eaten in days.
Austin wondered what the Pokédex will show about onix current stats. He presses his glasses on the side and it scans onix and displays its profile on the lens.

Reckless: increases the power of recoil moves by 20%. By extension this means the amount of recoil damage taken will increase as more more damage is dealt.
Sand Stream(rare): Creates a sandstorm when the ability-bearer enters battle. This ability can be activated willingly by onix.
Clear body(due to Crystal body): Prevents other Pokémon from lowering its stats.
Discription: As it digs through the ground, it absorbs many hard objects. This is what makes its body so solid. This creature is colored with the type of material it feeds on. Usually feeds on stone. This is a rare onix that feed on many hard crystal making it stronger and bigger than average. Known mutations of onix is the black iron onix, Crystal, Granite.
Austin was amazed about onix's details(not sure if I have stats right I'll review later). Onix was especially Crystal onix was overpowered. By default it's has its sp.def as high as the physical def. It also gained a clear body preventing any weakening from other Pokémon. This truly made his onix fearless and a good tank.
Austin sat down and began to meditate trying to focus energy and move the energy to his brain. He mainly tried to send it to the pineal gland. If he can do it and activate calm mind, then he has an 60 percent chance to open his mind eye.
Before meditating Austin called out Noibat, Sylveon, and blazeken to defend him.
Austin focused his energy and tried to push it towards his pineal gland. As the energy started to move, it suddenly dissipated. Austin grumbled in his heart and began to try again.
Blazeken was watching onix feasting on a mountain of berries. He began to taunt onix to a fight. Onix roared back not letting up.
Austin was too focused in his training that he didn't hear anything.
Sylveon saw the two brutes being loud and feared that they might disturb Austin. So to shut them up it fired an oversized hidden power and sent them flying.
The two we're slightly hurt and wanted to fight back. As they were going to launch a move they noticed the scary glare of Sylveon. Onix and blazeken began to talk with each other as if they were long time friends. Onix even shared some berries with blazeken.
The two then looked back towards Sylveon and saw her seated beside Austin ignoring them. They sighed in relief and began to eat quietly.
Austin, who was oblivious to this event, managed to move the focus energy towards his pineal gland. One he felt his energy enter his pineal gland, austin used calm mind.
Austin wasn't sure if this method could open his mind eye. Norris told him he should first completely master focus, and then awaken his aura. Applying the method of focus energy, Austin will then use his aura to awaken the eye.
The thing Austin began to do was research other methods. This was what he came up with, with the help of Norris and math.
Once calm mind activated, he again unconsciously used some aura. This aura combined with the focused force. Then something opened in Austin's mind. His hidden power was also agitated and began to heal the slightly damaged area.
Austin didn't feel pain. Rather he felt that his body became freed in a way. Although his eyes were closed, he felt he could clearly see his surroundings.
Austin opened his eyes which deactivated the mind eye(active form). He looked at Sylveon with a smile. He finally managed to open his mind eye.
