The E-class was chatting when the twins entered the room. They are mostly excited and discussing plans for the upcoming event.
Thee teacher entered and silence fell in the room, and everyone settled in their seats. Amili simply looked at them, then opened her mouth to speak, but no voice came out. She was thinking of a better way to explain things,
"There's going to be a change of things starting today" she said. The children looked at her with bewildered faces, and she begun to explain things further
"From this day on, I won't be your only teacher--"
"But Professor! Does that mean where going to have different teachers like the other classes?"
"At one way, yes. But fear not, you only have history, magic wielding and limitations, weapons, and magical creatures. Does that seem much?"
"oh, who cares! Why would there be a sudden change? I mean after three months--!"
"It's because your lacking!" Silence came again. Amili took a deep breath, then continued "As you may know, not all of you here exceeds in everything. As a matter of fact, most of you only have talents for one certain thing, then fails at the other. You also have trouble catching up with the normal students in academics, which is very disappointing. So, we've decided, that other teachers would be supervising you"
All of them looked down and seemed to be sulking by the sudden news. And here they thought its already Christmas. Though a sudden thought occurred to Aqua, a thirteen-year-old boy, with deep blue hair and eyes.
"What about the secrets...?" ha asked with a doubtful tone
"That would be fine, you don't have to worry about that. And you two, yes, the two of you Kishi. Professor Sy request you after class, if you may. Now, are there any more questions? If not, then we shall proceed"
The class stated, and she taught them about history. Copies of History Since A Million Years Ago, appeared in front of each of them, and she asked them to open it in page sixty-four.
"In the past million years, Harmonia does not exist, and Clover is the only magical world. Though as you may know, the date only ranges to the hundred-thousand before now, and why is that?"
"Because due to the chaos after creation, the people are in disarray, and the palaces only formed their empires, controlled the people, and brought peace once again, hundred-thousand years in the past" Kira mumbled
"Precisely, but raise your hand before answering Kira"
"S-Sorry!" She apologized as the class laughed
The class went through softly as it continued. Kira started getting confident with every question she answered. But the other classes often have protest and complaints about the new teachers. They often say that the teachers are way too intimidating, and that they don't trust them for some reason. But sadly, their protests are ignored.
After class, Kishi and Kira went to the school estate, where the five school elders live. Professor Sy was already waiting for them by the gate. He wore a fancy robe that is dancing in the slight wind, and holding a long staff in his hand. He beamed at the sight of them, then nodded turning his back and entering the place. The twins exchange looks and just followed.
They went to a beautiful garden. It was warm, and the snow didn't seem to touch it. Mossy pebbles are scattered and a small pond with lovely lotuses. It was very quiet, the sound of the water flowing and sōzu hitting the rock is the only thing to be heard.
"I would be supervising you, now go ahead" He said struggling to sit on the engawa due to old age
Once again, the twins exchange looks of confusion "Er...pardon?" said Kishi
"Oh, my apologies" He cleared his throat "have you--Er.....learned magic yet?"
Again, the two of them just exchange looks
"Judging in your reaction, I believe not?" He sighed. He looked up in the sky then said "You were told the place where came from. What do you think is the reason why you are unable to wield magic?"
"B-because we don't know what magic we possess..." Kira answered bravely
"Correct, but there's another thing. Your faith in your magic is very weak. But nonetheless, the power of your love is very strong." He said calmly
"So, what are you trying to say?" Kishi asked
"What I meant is, feel the power of what's around you, and remember what are you fighting for"
"Fighting?" said Kira
"Yes, dear, you are fighting, are you not? Now go ahead and try"
Kira and Kishi exchanged looks again, then closed their eyes. They tried hard to concentrate and think of what their fighting for. But what are they fighting for? To Kishi, when he thought about it, all he could think of was his sister. It was all for her and nothing more.
Kira was focusing really hard when suddenly, she felt a great surge of magic. She opened her eyes and looked to where it came from. Kishi was standing over a complex magic circle, roses half black and half pink was growing, the grasses are rising rapidly, the water in the pond was overflowing and is slashing really hard on the pebbles around it, and a number of tiny stones are floating in the air. His pendant is also glowing floating in the rising air around him, just like his hair.
Professor Sy merely looked at him. His magic circle is far to complex, and is probably the worst among the most complex magic circles in Harmonia. His will is also very pure, yet gravely dangerous. This child.....he, really is as dangerous as the legends foretold.
"That's enough"
Kishi then opened his eyes. The floating stones fell, and the water calmed. However, the garden was now filled with over grown bushes and roses are everywhere. All of these were gone instantly when Professor Sy made a thud with his staff
"Kira my child, you should concentrate more and try again"
"Oh, right, sorry"
Kira closed her eyes once again. Just like Kishi, all there is to her was her beloved brother. But she also thought of a beautiful and peaceful life where there's nothing to worry about. Wind started blowing from underneath. She could feel her hair rising from the ground. Her magic circle is just as complex as Kishi's and is exactly the same. Everything was going well, and the results is just the same as Kishi, but then she suddenly opened her eyes. The wind around her grew stronger for a second, then flashes of light began soaring everywhere, and her magic circle vanished.
Sy, managed to block all lights that came in his direction and protected the place with another thud of his staff. Kishi on the other hand, remained safe with not even a single scratch, as the lights that came to him vanished, half a meter away.
Airi, Rex, and Lune who was also there and walking towards them when it happened. Lune quickly reacted and blocked the light with a tree, that grew instantly in the ground. Though it quickly disappeared when the light touched it, nevertheless it was enough to save both he and Rex who is standing just behind him. On the other hand, Airi didn't have enough time to cast a spell, and barely dodged the light and cut the some bit of his pink hair tips, as he quickly tilted his head; the stone statue behind him melted and exploded.
He grinned and said "I think it's too early for me to die yet"
Kira, who just realized what happened, quickly apologized with a low bow. Professor Sy then sighed and called it a day. He watched the children disappeared from sight and sighed again, thinking. The legends do speak truth, imagine two children with exactly the same magic and purpose. Outrageous! Time passes quickly, to think, it's been a million years. How would Harmonia survive now...?
