Chapter 14: High God Nile
In the northwest part of the Island,
The entire area was entirely covered in mountains, large trees, and plants. In a distance, one could see a huge Ape, covered in fiery colored fur, 9 feet tall with a golden humanoid face.
It was furiously fighting a tiny youngster in front of it, who disrupted its quiet lunchtime. A large hand packed with power connected with Rey's fist, which forced him to take a few steps back while his hand ached in pain.
It's how strong the ape in front of him is! 'As expected of the Type C creature.'
Even though Rey opened his second gate, his physical strength and defense are nowhere near the fiery ape he's fighting.

Furthermore, the Ape is also surprisingly agile for its huge body and was easily able to evade Rey's punches.
Rey was the one who is getting beaten by the Ape as his body is full of bruises and injuries. Without any other choice, he can only run facing the Ape who's enraged and has superior strength.

'No..no...My speed is lacking, I have to bring out full strength in my legs.' Rey practiced in his hideout.
It had become his daily routine, fighting the Ape, getting beaten up and training again. It's not his first day fighting the Ape as he was at it for the last four days.
He was sure, even if his combat skills progress, he won't be a match for the fiery Ape as the difference in physical strength between them is huge.
For example in Rusukaina Island, Luffy wasn't able to defeat some animals even using his Gear fourth.
The difference in physical strength can be overcome by Haki or by long years of training. Unless Rey opens his third gate, he won't be able to defeat the Fiery Ape.
He also knows this, that's why he is using the Ape as a training partner to increase his combat strength which will help him in dealing with some strong pirates.
Days passed by,
It's been one year since Rey was mercilessly tossed to this Island by Garp. And, it was also the time Garp comes back and pick him up as he mentioned.
In this period of time, his combat skills improved and so was his Soru and Geppo. With his current strength, he should be able to fight some strong pirates with bounty.
Even if he faces some pirates with a bounty of 100 Million berries, he will be able to battle and retreat without any problem.
Apart from that, he found out that after opening his 2nd gate, he will be able to exponentially increase his combat strength for 1 minute using the pure energy which was stored in his 2nd gate point like the original Eight gates technique but the side effect is he will be weak for a period of time.
"Oi brat, you are not bad! You were able to open your 2nd gate in a short period of time." Rey's consciousness suddenly appeared in a small space like last time and he saw the old man again.
"Old man, did you recover your energy?" Rey asked.
"Barely enough to have a little chat with you!"
"Last time, I was very weak, so I wasn't able to properly introduce myself. I am High God Nile, watcher, and protector of countless imaginary realms."
"Imaginary realms?" Rey exclaimed.
"Yes, Imaginary realms are formed when countless mortals began to believe and imagine a world of their own. Some powerful Gods in the universe desire to acquire them under their name as it will increase their abilities and strength to an unimaginable level."
"The Imaginary realms formed by the earth mortals come under the Lord whom I follow called, Heavenly God Hobo."
"But recently, Heavenly God Hobo mysteriously disappeared. As I was tasked with watching and protecting it, I become a target of many powerful peoples and nearly died."
"Is the Heavenly God is really dead?" Rey asked, not able to imagine the strength concerning the master of this old man.
"No, If the heavenly god dies or even if his health declines, I will feel it since my soul is directly linked with him. Everyone knows this, even so, they want to test the waters."
"Will the power struggle affect the Imaginary realm?"
"No, the Imaginary realm has its own rules as it won't allow the outsiders to enter. Even I won't be able to enter in normal times; I was only able to arrive here because of the secret arts my Lord passed. You can say Imaginary realms and Mortal worlds are the safest places in the entire universe."
"You are able to come here because you are not an outsider as you are a soul from Earth and a believer of Imaginary realms since you like One Piece, Naruto and many other fantasies."
Rey was surprised and shocked by discovering such information from Old man Nile and was also thrilled to learn there's a vast world outside. His entire view of the world changed and also broadened his mind.
"So, Old Man Nile, Why did you choose me?" Rey asked the question which bothered him since he came to One piece World.
"I didn't particularly choose you, at that time you are the one who died at a perfect time for me to choose and survive." Old man Nile bitterly said.
"Now, I can only rely on you to revive me. Only when you reach a God level, you can create a physical body suitable for me. I can only help you in providing the knowledge but you already know most of it."
"If you want to ask me anything, its the time. I can't speak with you longer since it consumes my soul energy."
"Is the Taijutsu you transmitted really from Naruto world?"
