Chapter 6: Chapter 6: It’s Been a While
"Today is 18th of April, Saturday. I and Aina's have been getting quite good with each other, we had been having lots of fun every day. I got to admit she is really great in almost everything except the fact that she is an airhead sometimes but that too makes her even more cute. This week we had quite an amount of fun which sometimes ended by me getting punishments by our teachers. Anyway today we are going to the Amusement Park!!!"
After few minutes' doorbell rings…
"It must be her and the good things is that today Haruto won't be coming he has his relatives at his home so he has to take care of them." And he opens his door.
"Hi Haru, Let's go. Today's day is going to be awesome."
"Yep…" And so they started heading towards amusement park. It took them a while to reach there because they were going from taxi.
After they got there…
"Ok Aina let's go inside and have fun."
"Yup, but Haru know that we have arrived here I want to ask you something… do you get motion sickness from rides?"
"Nope of course not. I'm a tough guy, I won't have any reaction from those childish rides."
"Ok…" First they went to small games like balloon pop and had things like burger.
"Hey, how do I look in this?" she had cat ear hairband on her head.
"Umm… (Blushing) I guess… you are looking pretty cute in that."
"Here…" She gives him a cute dog ears hairband to him.
"Ahhh, but don't you think that's a little lame for a boy." As he said that her face slowly changed into a little disappointed look.
"OK Let's go." And so he suddenly takes that for her hand and wear it. And says "I will not wear this always ok?"
"Ok (while having a beautiful smile)" and so she again turned back to her cheerful behaviour and had a really cute smile on her face because of Haru, he even wore that to make her happy.
And so afterwards they went for the real fun the roller coaster!!!
"Wow Amazing!! Look at it Haru it so huge."
"Y-Yeah I can't believe why did they made it so huge? (He was frightened)"
"Hey are you getting scared from its height?"
"Nope of course not, I told you there's no way I will be scared from these childish rides."
"Well I'm getting kind of scared."
"Ok, let's go this." They went ahead to take a ride at the roller coaster…
Everyone in the roller coaster was screaming and by the look on Haru's face it looked like he already had passed out by fear but fortunately Aina didn't looked at Haru face she was laughing loudly and enjoying that ride. Every time roller coaster came at the highest point breath went out of him and Aina was looking like she was waiting for it. And the moment roller coaster went down, Haru was screaming in fear like hell and Aina was shouting.
"YAY!!!!" it sure was an exciting moment that won't ever forgot but they had different expects of this moments.
"I thought my heart was about to jump out of my chest, it was so scary (Aina said)"
"Y-Yeah it w-was the same for m-me…(trembling)" Haru was kneeling on the ground while saying this he sure was scared because of this he was even trembling but Aina didn't noticed it.
"Ok to the next ride where should we go now Haru?"
"Maybe we should-" Before he could even complete Aina spoke.
"Let's go to the Haunted house!!"
"What!!!" And so they went to Haunted house, Haru was unable to resist to go there after seeing Aina's excitement.
They were slowly walking down the path in the Haunted house, Haru was already frightened and was barely controlling himself from screaming like hell. Aina was walking but was kind of a little nervous because at any moment a jump scare could have pop out of nowhere.
"Hey Haru are you not scared?"
"N-No of c-course not, why would I be scared?"
"You are so strong I'm already trembling."
"Don't worry it's nothing, there would be n-no ghost in here I'm sure of it." As soon as he finished this and turned his head to the other side just because of curiosity there was a skeleton hanging on the wall, it was at the same height as Haru and had the same eye-level. As soon as his brain recognized what it is he screamed from fear like some frightened girl which was way scarier than the skeleton himself "AHHH!!!!! SAVE ME SOMEONE HELP!!!! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!" (words used to describe the expression of screaming from fear)
"Hey Umm… Haru it's just a decoration…." As soon as he realized it is just a prop he stood up and acted like nothing happened.
"I-I already k-knew that, I-I… was just trying to understand how does it feels after you see something scary."
"Wow! You are such a good actor."
Haru whispered to himself "Thank goodness Aina is so innocent she didn't realize it otherwise it would had been turned out to be a really embarrassing moment, I'm saved and why the hell are my legs trembling so much?" his legs were shaking like it would have some type of earthquake.
"Ok let's go ahead Haru we only have seen a few jump scares."
"Wait when did that happen?"
"You didn't notice? There was a one-eyed ghost, a vampire, mummy and a Frankenstein monster back there."
"What are you didn't have any types of reaction after seeing them?"
"Well… I guess they were cute."
Haru kneels down and had a traumatized face like why he is alive? He whispers to himself- "God… Why am I here? How am I with? And what's happening in this world were peoples' reactions after seeing monsters are 'I think it was cute'. What is she made up of!!!!"
And so with they go ahead with still Haru having that shaken face. And then Haru turns his head towards Aina and asks Aina about something.
"Hey by the way how was the ghost was looking like?"
"Oh it was looking like this." And she turns her face and when Haru saw her face she had only one-eye and a scary white face. His eyes were almost about to come out of their eye-sockets and screamed really loudly and cling on to the wall and started yelling.
"SOMEONE HELP ME MY FRIEND TURED INTO A GHOST!!!! HELP ME!!!!" He was almost about too cry when the person removes the mask.
"Sir, I'm a real person I was wearing a mask." When Haru heard that he came down from the wall and took a breath from relief. The staff member again says "Sir, are you okay?"
And Haru turns his head towards him when the person looked at him a chill came down from his spine, he had eyes which were looking like demonic red eyes and had a really terrifying look. Haru rushes towards the staff member and smashes a Punch. Bam~!!! And Haru quickly grabs that man's hair and pulls them hard.
"You are going to tell me where Aina is and I will leave you without a single scratch or else I'm going to show you what real HELL looks like, choose any one of them fast and feel free to tell me your answer." After hearing what Haru said the man got quickly terrified and spoke up.
"Please don't hurt me I will tell you where she is!! When you guys were walking a hole opened under her feet and she feel in that and the hole, quickly closed and as soon it closed I came and started walking next to you, while I was here she went down a slide and safely landed down on a bed, now she might be coming up from the stairs and she might be here any second. That's all I know, please leave me." And Haru drops him back.
"Ok if that's it, if she had gotten I would had made you suffer for it. Ok you can go back and remember if by anyway she gets to know what conversation happened between us, I promise you will not be alive till tomorrow." As Haru said this the person got even more terrified.
"Y-Yes Sir, I will not tell her, can I go now she would be coming any second."
"Ok run." And so that guy runs away and after few seconds Aina came back and told Haru what happened.
"Hey Haru what happened here while I was gone?"
"Oh Nothing special, let's go now." And so after that they went ahead. While having lots of fun they exited out of there.
"Aina so where should we go now?"
"I don't know; do you know any other rides we should go?"
"What about that one?" He points towards a Swing Tower ride.
"That one looks cool. So, what are we waiting for let's go."
"Yep…" and so they went to take ride at swing tower ride. They sat at their seats and waited for the ride to start.
"Hey Aina?"
"Yeah."
"What if the seats got detached from tower? We would go flying so far away."
"Dummy now I think I have started to be frightened from this ride."
"Oops sorry I should have told you after this ride." And right after that the ride started, first the machine started spinning slowly and started increasing its speed.
"Hahahaha, it's tingling in my stomach (Haru was laughing out loud). And the next moment when the speed got higher and they started to orbit the tower at great speed-
"Someone saves us it's too much speed!! (Aina was screaming loudly). Haru, you are an idiot what was the need of saying that what will happen if the seats got detached!!" And when she looked at Haru he had already been traumatized by the ride.
After a while…
Haru and Aina are sitting on the bench; trying to recover from the shock Haru was already scared and Aina was scared because of what Haru said just before the ride.
"I really thought the seats were going to be detached from the main Tower, glad it didn't."
"Man it was such a great ride!"
"Why are you lying? You passed out by just the speed." He made a kind of catch red-handed face and try to avoid answering her.
"Ok do you want anything to drink Aina because coffee at this moment, won't be good."
"I think a soft drink would be good enough."
"Ok and anything else?"
"No nothing else." And so he went to get something for them to eat."
After few minutes…
"Ok here, I bought you some Melon soda; it would be refreshing."
"Thanks." And so they drank their drinks and rested for a while, they were a pleasant breeze and the voice of leaves rustling on the tree could be heard, it was a really delightful scene anyone would have loved it…
"It feels so great sitting at here doesn't it Haru?" and when she noticed Haru, he was already asleep."
"You sure are tired Haru, aren't you?" She looked at Haru and thought "It would be better if I rest for a while too" And so she sat comfortably and kept listening the rustling of the leaves and the cold breeze which was touching her face also made her even more comfortable. Both of them were having so much fun before sitting there they didn't notice the time and at the moment they came and sit there it was already past 3 o'clock.
The next moment when Aina opened her eyes it was already 4:30 she didn't notice when she fell asleep and when she looked at where Haru was he was sleeping on her lap. She blushed as hell and was confused what to do.
"H-Haru w-wake up…" and he woke up and got up from his lap.
"Where are we?" Aina turned her face to the other side because she was blushing a lot.
"At the amusement park you were sleeping."
"Oh and when I was sleeping did you gave me pillow?"
"Pillow?"
"Yeah when I was sleeping I noticed a soft pillow under my head but it was too thin to be a pillow…"
She blushed even more because what he was talking about was her lap.
"Can go now Haru? There are few rides we haven't gone to yet…"
"Ok, I will wash my face and come wait for few minutes."
"Ok" and after a few minutes he returned and they went to the other rides.
After an hour when they almost went to all the rides…
"Man, I'm still sleepy but anyway that place was so great I didn't notice when I fell asleep."
"Ok, so Haru now only 1 ride is left want to go?"
"Which one?" And she pointed towards the grand finale, the Ferris wheel.
"Wow! It's so big, I didn't know it was there the whole time, let's go Ferris wheels are really great we can almost see the whole city from there."
And they went and stood in the line and waited for their turn to come. After few minutes they sat on their seat in the Ferris wheel and as the ride rotated they were able to see they whole city. It was already about time; the sun was setting.
"Hey Aina."
"Thank you for today I didn't have this much fun since a while now, I hope you had fun today too."
"It was really great day for me too Haru, Thank you." She blushed a little after seeing Haru smiling so pleasantly and afterwards they came down from the Ferris wheel, had a little rest and had something to eat.
And so after that they started going back to their home on the train station they waited a little while but they were a little silent because they were too tired to even speak.
The train came, they sat and head back after reaching their station they noticed it was already time the sun was almost down and the street light were already lightened up.
While they were heading to their home while walking they both noticed something. It was the cherry blossom tree in the park it still had some flower on it. They both smiled and looked towards each other and then they under the tree and looked up towards the tree.
"Haru this tree sure reminds me of the day we both met, it was the best day for me. Because on that day I met the best person."
"Yep on that day I met my new family too, which means everything to me now."
They spent few minutes under that tree and went back first they both went to Aina's house ordered some food because they both were starving and they after Haru and Aina cleaned dishes Aina went to sleep and Haru went back home.
Haru lies down on his bed and tries to sleep. He was again and again trying to sleep but he was having a little discomfort but then he had a thought, the image of Aina smiling while they were on the Ferris wheel. That scene made Haru's heart skip a beat.
"It was the really a great day today but if we both haven't been this tired, I'm sure we have spent much more time together. I don't know why but whenever I'm with her, it just feels like my body is being overflown by emotions and it's quite been a while since I'm continuously experiencing a feeling unknown to me. It seriously a great thing to be with her. Man! It's Been a While since I met her and every day I get to know her more I kind of like her even more.
Haru blushed as soon as he noticed whatever he said, he started rolling on his bed in embarrassment while rolling he reaches the edge and as expected he fell. "Ouch!!" and while rubbing his head he climbed back to his bed and slept.

4) I'm not from Japan but I tried writing a Japanese type of novel so there might be few things like about japanese culture, etc.
