Chapter 21: chapter 16 Money coil
"Its beautiful !" I say in awh it was bright red and kinda long and looked delicate.
" my father said it was his grandmother's and the only thing from her home land but for you if I could sell it and then maybe your father will let you merry me." he says looking at me with light in his eyes .
I have a bad feeling over this , I'm not worth him giving up an heirloom . I took the feather rope from his hands an put it down on the table and turned my back to him not sure how to word things .
"Katherine ?" Wyatt sounded confused behind me . taking a deep breath I turn around and burst out . " Let's elope !" taking in a quick breath I start again " my father has his mind set on me marrying Montague cause of his massive wealth no matter if you sell that beautiful rope it wont come close to Montagues family fortune.
But if we get to town we can find a church as ppl from the streets to be our witness !" I huff out of breath from anxiety from the idea that spued out my mouth.
Wyatt looked shocked and not sure what to say . then he rose one of his eyebrows folding his arms showing me a teasing smile that melted my heart.
" Deal my love , but we have to get a horse.
Town is a long way from here and with the cloths you have and the shoes your beautiful feet will suffer if we walk " Wyatt says tapping his foot as he starts to think .
" I can possibly bribe one of the stable boys so i can take one of my fathers carriages" I say thinking out loud.
" You think this will work "? asks Wyatt
" I dont know " I say biting my thumb nail.
" let's not go just yet " I say hugging Wyatt .
My gut trying to tell me something but I do not know what .
Wyatt hugs me back tightly and kisses the top of my head .
" My family had been wealthy at one time that could've matched Montagues at one time but my Grandfather was a massive gambler. sold every property we had in exchange as payment to save his own life but ironically shortly after he died of a heart attack leaving this world and his two children with nothing ."
I look up a Wyatt shocked he was telling me this it must've shown on my face cause he chuckled and continued.
" my family is and had always been complicated not really normal we made friends with meany races and had a good trading company going for a while before my grandfather ruined his fathers hard work and burning all the bridge's of old family friends and other companies . my father and his brother worked hard all there life and was close of having a solid background again and which he was able to buy back this cottage that was in the family since the beginning. Katharine I want you to be my wife and bare my children we may not know each other as well as we'd like but I feel it down in my bones when we first made eye contact I new id love you , and I do I love you more than the air I breathe ." he finishes grabbing my face and kisses me deeply.
with tears now falling down my face I kiss him back and my hands grab fist fulls of his hair .
" Wyatt I want you , please. " beg into his neck unbuttoning his first button of his shirt .
Without any more begging Wyatt helps me out of my cloths and leads me to his bed with fur coves as collapses on top of me on the feather bed he pulls off his shirt while I go to untie the string of his pants .
this isn't like the hot lustful moments into the woods but a new feeling a joyous feeling he is mine my soon to be husband .
We held onto each others naked bodies like each kiss each movement our souls was weaving into each others .
no other words can explain this moment except magical .
panting into Wyatts ear I whispered " I never want this to end ."
" you will become my wife my love this will be our every night and day if you wish." he chuckles and playfully nibbled my neck .
" oh lord " I say covering my face with my hands .
the final moments end with us both gasping and I feel complete and he falls into my arms and our sweat covered bodies hold onto each other and with a happy sigh I let myself fall asleep letting myself take a nap in his arms.
