Chapter 36: Chapter 35. PvP
I was almost in the entrance of my room but suddenly a hand touch my shoulder so stare at the person back.
" Wha- Izekeal? "
Izekeal, this guy rank number 1 last year's Rookie Competition. He lives in USA, the powerhouse country and there players has dominated every game Pangea has held and majority of the experts from USA could be seen in the rankings. Izekeal is one of them, he is known for being arrogant but his class was some of the most amazing classes known in Pangea.
His class was Friction Fencing, an epic rated type of class. The records of epic classes known is only 230 over billions of players worldwide.
" You seem to be new here kid, do you want some pointers? " Izekeal said while glaring at me with his blue pupils.
' He seems to be not bad at all. ' I muttered to myself thinking that he was going to help me.
He was wearing a red uniform and brown shorts. His shaved blonde hair, the small mustache on his chin, the orange glasses and the wide grin from his face showed how arrogant he really is.
" That would be great. "
" Why is that guy talking casually to him? "
" Damn! He's dead meat right now! "
They began to ridicule me for talking with Izekeal. I was dumbfounded by the reason that I don't know why they were acting like that.
" First of all, the half of the sponsored players here are very talented and you should be wary of. Second is, you should need information so you can prepare for the games because we will be transported to different terrains which is very annoying and lastly..... "
He stopped his words right there. From a table, a wine stood there with two glasses. He opened the cap and poured some wine inside and gave it to me.
" Lastly..... Know your place."
He splash the red wine in my face and made a chuckle seeing how stupid and how I was such a straightforward person to believe his words.
" Keuhak! Your such a loser. "
(Sounds of people laughing)
They ridiculed me as an easy noob to be fun of. I was just silent and didn't made a single word, I entered the room and slammed the door.
" Fuck!!!! You piece of shit! I'm gonna fucking humiliate your sorry ass for doing this awful shit to me! You made me look like a pussy which is what I'm going to do to you! "
I was filled with rage and wished to punch that guy's face so bad.
Inside the room, there was a capsule which was colored in white and a hint of gold. There was a logo on the side of the capsule that shows the corporation I was sponsored.
" Woah! What an amazing capsule! "
Ring! Ring!
A ringing sound spread around the room and a woman's voice covered my hearing.
{ All players, please enter your capsule. The PvP will be starting in 2 minutes. }
" It's starting! Woooh! I'm excited!"
I entered my capsule, and first thing I saw was a stage similar to an arena. Players who had joined crowded the whole place and a small group, chatting to each other. Most of the groups talking were members of a guild and others we're independent players talking to each other.
" Dude, my heart is beating fast! I hope I could befriend sponsored players at least I won't leave empty handed. " A ranger spoke.
" I'm proud of myself that I have joined this competition! Hence I'll be winning the first place and make Butterfly Inc. proud! " The man spoke proudly of himself, he was a sponsored Knight classed player. The non sponsored players looked at him in envy, he wore an equipment set, shining in white and glazed with gold equipments, the great sword he was holding glowed in silvery white while his armor set glowed in violet, he was gleaming in the darkness making him the center of attention.
' Looks like his armor set is epic rank and that great sword is unique. '
Equipments rarity depend on the color of glow it emitted. Common items didn't emit any type of glow hence it was rank lowest among the item's rarity, Rare items glowed in blue, special rare items glowed in light blue, ultra rare items glowed in dark blue, epic items glowed in violet, Black epic items glowed in purple. Epic items were already considered one of the rarest items found within the game yet a Black Epic rated items attributes was fivefolds greater than an Epic item and some players believed that it was comparable to unique items. Only 1% chance of getting a Black Epic rated item on a lifetime for average player and even if one could get one, they must have a very high luck even an expert only had 5% chances considering that the player having a full set of epic rated equipment. They had either gain it from high ranked boss'es loots drops or he had spend huge amount of money.
Next is Unique rated equipments, they are divided into two: Light Unique and Dark Unique; The player who had the great sword had a Light Unique rated item. The difference between them is a wide gap; Light Unique items increases defensive and regenerative prowess to an item and has a reasonable damage that is highly used by Knights, Shield warriors, supports and MTs ( Main Tank). However Dark Unique items increases damage, attack speed and debuffs which is favorable to mages, assassins, rangers and majority of sword related classes.
