John got furious, he expects that when he gets a new class, there should have been free skills but after the update about skill books, the system didn't give one.
' It must have been because of the skill books. '
Well, he couldn't blame the developers when the free skills that were given to him were already too much.
" So does this mean I have to buy a skill from each class I gained? "
I checked the skill books shop window and saw different types of skills that had the minimum of 70,000 gold. If you were to buy a skill book in the online market or in shops, they sell about hundreds of thousands worth of gold and some we're only C-rated skills. the difference between each skill was vastly different. If I were to compare an C-rated skill from a B-rated skill, it was like comparing a pebble from a boulder.
But it was different from my own personal Skill Book shop. Almost all of the skill where rated from A type skills that only cost 80,000 worth of gold compared to the market which would greatly sell to millions of gold.
The skill's description only show up if it was bought so it was a big disadvantage, the short description given was only the type of skill it is (CC, AOE, buff, debuff, damage, and lock).
There where also Set skills which would give 5 skills in all but sadly it didn't show what type of skills it gives.
" Emperor's Fury is the cheapest set skill which cost about 400,000 gold. "
The Emperor's Fury set skill piqued my interest since it was also connected to my equipments.
" Yes I'll go with Emperor's Fury! "
I went down the mountain and killed every mob I see. 1 hour passed, I was able to kill all the monsters from the swamp areas, mountains, and lastly the forest parts. The speed of my hunt was 10 times faster than what 5 party raid could do but I still wasn't satisfied, all I wanted was to grow and grow.
" *sigh*, I am able to earn 128,900 gold and raise my level to seven but it still not enough. "
(sfx for loud roar)
The roar shook the entire forest on where I am temporarily staying, it uprooted some small trees and the leaves from most of the branches of the trees were all swept away by the collision of the roar's wave.
' Is it a beast? '
The creature appeared just 15 meters away from me, it gave off a tremendous aura that made the wind sweep in a none orderly manner.
" What kind of aura is this? "
It was different from the auras found within the mobs living in this place, the aura's color was dyed in deep violet. The monstrous vibe from its aura made the trees decay and the grasses where it steps foot in change into gravel-ish dirt.

Just after I was sweating like crazy, a window notification appeared that blocked my view.

THE KING OF THE FOREST AWOKE FROM ITS SLUMBER AFTER IT REALIZED THAT ITS FELLOW PEOPLE WHERE ALL SLAUGHTERED AND IS SEEKING REVENGE, DEFEAT THE CHIMERA AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED.
REWARDS: +3 LEVELS, 10,000 REPUTATION, 300,000 GOLD, TITLE: DEFORESTATION
PENALTY: -2 LEVELS, YOU WILL BE BANNED IN ENTERING THE MYSTIC MOUNTAINS FOREVER.
"Heok?!"
The creature's body was of a lion, its tail was made of a snake and it's feet from behind was of a goat's. It's black and sharp claws leaves a deep scratch from the ground whenever it steps, the saliva coming out from its wide mouth melted the rocks from the ground and turned the grasses into ash.
When it opened its mouth, a voice similar of a devil could be heard.
" Are you the man who has wipe out all of the creatures in my forest while I was asleep?! "
Every word it spoke made the trees shake violently and collision of wind blasted towards my direction.
" Khouk!~ could you keep it down? "
( sfx of an angry growl )
It pounce it's goat legs towards me that left a small crater on the ground. It was able to reach at me in just a second.
(sounds of slicing a rock)
Everytime it slashes it's paws, the claws easily penetrated through my hard body. If I was the old me, I would've already been turned into bits of meat and flesh.

' That joint attack took up this much of damage? '
It attack depleted my health to 7/10 and I was left with only 1/4th of my remaining HP.
I backed out and tried to pull out a potion on my inventory but I forgotten something.
' Shit! I don't have any health potions! '
I had forgotten about potions, it was very essential to every player and if one wouldn't bring one, his chances of winning a hunt was very low.
I remembered Madra's blood that regenerated 2% of my main health when I hid my presence
"Stealth!"
I disappeared from the chimera's view and used this time to make a strategy.
' I need to atleast regain 80% of my health and counterattack on its scary claws. Since it has also a tail of a snake that has eyes that could track the position of its enemy, it won't be long to find my whereabouts.'
