Chapter 5: Stay

I search the whole school for Bryce. He remains missing. I finally check the dorms and see him packing. "Bryce..." I say. "I'm so sorry she came between us... But I have to leave." He says. "Leave? Why..?" I ask. "I'm going to find my real father..." He says as he gets up. He walks towards me and puts his hands on my cheeks. "You can't just go out there. The world is dangerous, and you're just gonna be stranded there?" I say. "Stay... For me at the most. You can't always run away from your problems." I say. "Just think, Savannah. I can't live my whole life not knowing who my actual father is." He says. "Bryce, we can finally be together. Wasn't that what you wanted..?" I ask, being hopeful that he will finally realize what he's doing. "It is... And we still can. You can come with me." He says. "Well I want you to chose then. Staying for the people who love you, Or go off to something you know nothing about." I say. He let's go if my face and takes my hand, and a deep breath.. "You win" He says as he smiles at me. I go ahead and hug him. "Don't scare me..." I say. "I won't..." He says. He then holds me tight. "I want you to be mine. No matter who's stopping us..." I say. "And you are." He says. After that we take a long walk and have deep conversations. Off at the Sunset we share a passionate kiss.
