Chapter 360: Destroy Him
Although Lionel was already starting to believe Wen Ting Ting's words and was feeling angry at Ning Hua, he still remained rational and calm.
"Yes. My previous makeup artist and the others saw what he did to me."
Wen Ting Ting's hand gripped tightly because it was as much a humiliation to be slapped in front of the whole team as how broken she was to be slapped by Ning Hua.
"Did he slapped her?" Lionel asked Ning Hua's team inquisitively.
"No! She is lying! She fell in the toilet on her own."
"She came out of the toilet with a scar and said that she had fell and knocked her head."
"Her original injury wasn't a fingerprint. It was a reddish bump on her forehead that was caused by a fall.
"She is not telling the truth."
Ning Hua's team answered without hesitation because if things got out, they would lose their jobs.

P.S. OMG The novel series of The Mortal Instruments is way better than the film. Seriously! They changed the novels way too much for the film that the story didn't make sense. ISTG if yall watch the final episode, you guys would be like WTF. Because Clary had her memory removed because she created a rune to kill the bad guy. Like seriously, many people died because of thee bad guy and the so called higher ups and higher officials of their Shadowhunters' group could not do anything to stop the bad guy. Then came Clary who wanted to stop him and created that rune. After that bad guy died, they said that it was against their law to kill someone with a rune and boom they removed her powers and banished her to be a mortal because she helped them kill the bad guy. Sorry for the spoiler. But I am legit like WTF when I watched it.
The novel series, though I have not finished them, I went to find out a bit about their ending, so it is definitely way better. I finished the fourth book, currently waiting for the fifth one to be available because the fifth in the series is fully borrowed on Overdrive, so I am currently on the waiting list. However, so far, up till the fourth one, every single bit is way better than the film series.
