Chapter 9: Please Enrique, stop looking at me like that !...
After around twenty minutes in awkward silence in the chopper finally they landed in a luxurious vila's courtyard which laid onto the beauty hill. It was a magnificent, sturdy, gorgeous villa like a haughty man standing alone to attract women's attention.
After the chopper's engine stopped working and the blades stopped spinning then the pilot got off the chopper. He run to the passanger door and opened it then give a sign 'ok' for us to get off the chopper.
Enrique with a long stride jumped smoothly to the ground and turned back directly to help me. His hands reached out to mine and helped me to step on the ground very well.
After appreciated and said thank you to the pilot, both of us walked side by side to the main door of the villa. I saw there were four maids and a butler standing in front of the door to welcome us.
They bowed us in unison. "Pleased to meet you and welcome to this villa Young Master Wu and Young Miss. We have prepared all your request as the best as we can, Young Master. Please come in...!" The butler ushered us to the main hall of the villa.
I saw the maids and butler exchanged their gazes and smiles, and from their gesture I caught a glimpse of sort of understanding among them that they guessed we were a couple of lovers.
" Bring all the breakfast to the study room right now, we'll be there" He ordered the maids with deep and soar voice while pulled my hand heading to that room.
"I am sure you don't have a breakfast yet". He darted an unconfortable glare at me.
We entered the study shortly and suddenly I held my breath awestruck. The room was very neatly, elegant design, filled with nuance of black, grey, and silver. The paintings hung beautifully on the wall and lifted the splended of the room. In front of the desk there was a set of dark brown leather sopha arranged classy. Many books lined up neatly on the wall shelf. So manly and magnificent.
"Please feel free to take a seat " He guided me and we took a seat in the same time onto the long sopha.
Enrique gazed at the girl next to him and inhaled a long sigh and something hit his mind. 'No doubt that her aloofness and coldness seems more stronger than before. How can she build a relationship with a man due to her demeanor like this?'
"Please Enrique, stop looking at me like that !...I agreed to go with you just because of Emporium in the critical situation and you are the one I only trust to." Aiden's voice out sharp and blunt.
"I truly respect for our previous long term-relationship with all my heart but I have to make it clear that this relationship much better in the way like now. No more than that. Both of us had ever tried once and proved for the best that we are suitable into the best-friendship not in a romantic one. If you are wooing me as if I am still your girlfriend now then I do believe that you will get exactly the same result at the end. Try me and you can proved it undoubtedly. We are too accustomed one to another inside and out. That's why we never slept together just for once... Could you please to except it naturally as a fate between us?...So, I do hope that it is enough to answer your- 'ask me nicely' in the chopper, isn't it?"
Enrique saw clearly that Aiden regained her composure very well and stated her mind unwaverly about their relationship. Too clean and honest.
She did what she always does to his usual impaccable standards whether in saying, behaving and thingking.They both were too similar in many aspects.
He always wondered in many years why their relationship couldn't make any progress and consummate their relationship into the romantic-ship deeply with passion and sexual desire.
The true answer took place in front of him brighter than starlight. An enlightenment of understanding appeared slowly in his mind that both of them are really true bestfriends all the time. Always.
A true bestfriend relationship beyond distance and time, stayed forever. Gave a shoulder to one's burden requested or not, took the happiness or sorrowness one to another as an insaparable part of the friendship itself.
Aiden has always been in the darkest and weakest side of his life, never judge what he does with the underground organization, legal or illegal works, secret or unsecret. Fully supportive in many ways and instead he gave the best support for her as well.
He was able to go to the hell or even to the most dangerous world only for Aiden. Unconditional.
"I haven't even started yet anything but you have given and laid the truth between us. So, Aiden... Is there no hope whatsoever between us onward ?" he murmured and replied slowly but felt as stabs to his heart directly. Felt bitter.
The intimidating look from Enrique grew piercer as he smirked with a devious smile to Aiden. "Come on warrior, you've known already what the answer indeed" She pulled his both hands and wrapped them with hers.
"You're always be the best of the bestiest friend, brother, and old comrade to me. Never ever changed by anything. I always love you with a very pure friend's feeling and it has always been a strong anchor for me in whatever situation. Because I know that someone in the other side of the world always stand for me there and then." Aiden always proud of Enrique with her whole heart and soul.
Her explaination blatantly driving Enrique into a deeply thought. Enrique gazed into hers and finally said " Give your big hugs to me now, I miss you so much"
