Chapter 8: Heir's birthday ruined [2]
Mother Xu was confused, what did her son mean by pack her things... Are they running away but even If they did, where would they go?
Looking at the different emotions that kept changing on his mother's face and the confused look that his sister was giving him, longwei explained "Mom if I have the power to talk to animals then I can use that to get us out of this situation! Why you may ask? Because I can ask a clam to give me it's pearls and then we can get out of this hell!"
Xinyi asked still confused "But brother, how are you going to do that?"
Longwei raised his beautiful, thick black eyebrow as he said "I'm their king, remember!"
"Oh... Haha right!" Xinyi said with a soft giggle, she just can't stop herself when she thought of it. Her brother the king of animals, haha the king of the jungle.
"Mom... I want you to take the things that you need. Xinyi you follow me back to the forest, we are going to fish for pearls and bring the buckets, we are going to bring back water... And lots of it!"
Xinyi wanted to say something but she clammed her mouth shut, she saw her brother's eyes shining in a profound light and that look of his always makes her have goosebumps. She might be the most scheming person between her brother and she but her brother is the most deadly one amongst them... He sometimes is a bit goofy but that brain of his works faster than a cheetah when he's in his deadly mode.
Mother Xu on the other hand was feeling worried, her son only wants to help them but she knows that look all...too well. That's the look of his inner dragon, those beautiful eyes that usually shine in a mysterious light is known well to her. She only hope that he doesn't get out of control or his powers get the best of him.
She exhaled a deep sigh, well she might as well give her two little trouble makers a try. She wants to get out of this house as soon as possible so that her so called husband won't come and take her children away from her and use them as his minions. No they will her precious babies suffer a punishment worse than death so she will not let that happen, humph...taking her children away from her, over her dead body.
She nods at her two children and then began packing her clothes because that's all she has.
Longwei and Xinyi walked out of the room only to find a big panda lying down on it's back and snoring and a blue bird on it's stomach, pecking him here and there to wake him up... The panda is like a dead creature, he was knocked down cold by sleep.
Longwei laughed while holding his mouth with his hands, the blue bird flew in the air and land on Longwei's long beautiful black hair that was tied up into a long ponytail with cute bangs on each side of his face.
He smiled at the bird which made his killer dimples to be shown, he tiptoed to the hibernating panda because it's snoring and it's sleeping without a care in the world, one he was really close to the panda, Xinyi also tiptoed towards her brother.
Without any warning, the children started ticking the soft and fluffy panda. The panda woke up with a loud giggle as it said "Pl-please stop... Haha..." the panda flipped its body and stood on its four paws when Longwei and his sister stopped their torture.
The panda's eyes glittered when she saw longwei, she and the blue bird bowed and the panda said in a cute female voice "Your Majesty... How may this servant help you?"
Xinyi roared into laughter "Haha...Wow... My brother is the king of animals... I knew it... Haha!!"
The cute panda looked at Xinyi with a puzzled look 'Can't humans see the golden dragon in this cute boy! His eyes resembled the golden gradon, Eee what an honour to meet his majesty' Even if the panda didn't get what Xinyi said, it was still going to keep its mouth shut.
Longwei ignored his sister and approached the panda, he caressed her fluffy fur and said" What's your name"
The panda answered enthusiastically "Momo... My name is Momo!"
Longwei giggled once more, she is quite adorable. He continued "Well... Momo, thanks for saving me. My sister told me what you did and so I thank you.."Longwei's eyes look up and said" And you too birdie! "
" You're welcome... Your majesty! " The both said simultaneously and enthusiastically, hearing them,Xinyi who has just calmed her self down from laughing too hard, burst into another wave of laughter. She will never get tired of how they address her brother.
Longwei carried the buckets and hand one to his sister as he looks at the panda and said "Momo... Can I ask you for a favour?"
"Sure!"
"Can you please give me and my sister a ride, we are going inside the forest"
"Of course! It will be my honour, if you want me as your contract beast... I will happily do it"
Longwei was quite surprised, contract beast... The beast are know to be arrogant and they don't really like to become slaves to humans and besides they will lose their lives if the human dies.
Longwei finally asked "What stage are you in?
" I'm in the emperor stage, Early phase! "
Xinyi was quite curious, if it was a Emperor stage then doesn't it me that it should be extremely arrogant. Why would it just willingly enter a contract with her brother?
Longwei was shocked, Emperor stage... It must have taken the panda a few years to get to that stage since beasts cultivation was slower than human cultivation but mystical beast cultivation especially from the Mystic Isles is faster than humans so almost all mystical creatures from the Mystic Isles are powerful.
Longwei shook his head, he couldn't do something as heartless as signing a contract with a beast, it will just be killing two birds with one stone "No thank you and besides, I haven't started my cultivation yet!" The panda deflated like a balloon but it still understand so it wasn't totally sad as it said "Then would you allow me to become your transport beast" Longwei doesn't know what to say but seeing the pleading look its giving him, he sighed and agreed and that turned the panda happy in seconds.
Killing two birds with one stone:
1. If the owner is dead then it's beast will also die
2. If the beast is powerful then it means that it will just be a waste of a powerful beast and cultivating for its entire life will be a complete waste.
Longwei and Xinyi hopped on the back of the panda while the bird flew into the sky as the head inside the forest
