Chapter 184: Something she could do

The room fell silent for a long while until Kyuu moved closer to Xiaolei.

"Miss, I'm sorry…" he said formally. "I resented you without knowing the truth. Please forgive me." 

Luo Xiaolei immediately shook her head upon hearing him. Kyuu's resentment was understandable. None of them knew about what had happened.  

"No, it's not your fault." She replied, wiping her tears. "Thank you for telling me all this. I'm… I'm really glad to see you again, to finally remember you two again." 

Luo Xiaolei couldn't believe that it had been twelve long years; no, for her, it had been decades since she last saw them, since she last remembered them. But the memories of them were still fresh in her mind, as if everything happened just yesterday. She could remember them, drenched with blood as they stayed beside Yu Chen. She really missed them.
