Chapter 7: VANDAL SAVAGE
Back in the Caribbean Sea on the Island of Santa Prisca, an emergency meet was called by The Light high Council.
In The Light's meeting room Lex Luther, Death Stroke, Granny Goodness, Lady Shiva, Gorilla Grodd and Klarion the witch boy were all standing in a circle waiting for someone to arrive.
Right then there was a boom sound which was followed by a portal created by a boom-tube appearing. Form the portal, Vandal Savage walked out with his daughter, Cassandra Savage.
"You finally arrived old friend" Lex Luther said.
"Yes I have. Let us begin the meeting, I don't like being away from Warworld as it leaves the solar system defenceless against incursions or invasions"
"Don't worry this won't take long, we all know how important having you on Warworld is for our solar system…" Lex Luther replied.
Lex continued by saying, "The reason we have all gathered here is to discuss the intruder and how best to handle the situation"
"What is the situation?" Vandal Savage asked.
Right then a hologram appeared in the middle showing footage of Izak's arrival next to Santa Pisca, blocking the missile, dropping Bane's body and final his over whelming of Death Stroke, Lady Shiva and an entire squadron of The Light's elite all without breaking a sweat. It ended with Izak disappearing in the night sky.
"Who is he?"
The footage on the hologram disappeared and then it was replaced by information on the intruder, Izak Blais. The information contained everything on Izak such as parents, birth certificate, social security number, education degrees, criminal records, bank statements…just but to name a few.
"From the information we have gathered, his a human…or at least he was born one"
"So his a meta" Vandal Savage commented after giving Izak's information a once over.
"It would seem so, and a very powerful one at that"
"So what do you all think we should do?" Vandal Savage asked.
"I say we invite him to join us. With his power reaching our objectives is an almost grantee" Lex Luther suggested.
"I agree with Luther" Death Stroke said.
"Me too" Lady Shiva also voiced.
"Granny suggest we punish him for being such a naught boy. After punishing him, we tag him and sell him, he is bound to bring in a lot of money"
"Oh yeah I love that idea. Let's do that" Klarion said in agreement with Granny Goodness.
Vandal turned to Gorilla Grodd, "What do you suggest?, let him join or discipline him and sell him off" he asked
"Neither. I suggest we leave him be."
"Explain you line of reasoning"
Gorilla Grodd looked around the group before saying, "Asking him to join wouldn't work because from the little I have seen from the footage, Izak is the type that likes to be in charge and have everyone else at his feet. He will never agree to work for or with us.
As for the second option, I don't think it would be wise as we wouldn't be able to subdue him without taking serious losses…that is if we can even subdue him. There also a possibility that any action we take will get the League's attention and thus leading to their interference."
There was silence in the room as Grodd's words sank in to the minds of everyone present.
"I have made a decision…" Vandal Savage spoke up.
He then added "…we shall not take action. We shall file this incident as a one off and let him have Gotham. But should he attack us again, we shall reply in kind."
The other Light members nodded in agreement to Vandal Savage's decision.
Pleased that everyone was in agreement, Vandal Savage then asked "So how long till Bane is back in action?"
"Bane's body has reached Infinite Island and is waiting to be washed in the waters of the Lazarus Pit." Lady Shiva replied.
"Good. After he has resurrected and gets his memories back with the help of Grodd's machine, send him to Europe, we need more meta-humans.
If there is nothing else, I will be returning to Warworld"
"Actually there is one more thing. Ra's Al Ghul asked that his daughter Talia Al Ghul takes up his former position in The Light" Lady Shiva said in reply.
"I have no issues with that. Does anybody any objections?"
No objections were raised.
"Then it is agreed, Talia Al Ghul we take up Ra's Al Ghul's former position on the high council as well as the enforcer for The Light"
The boom sound rang out once again as a boom tube portal opened,. Before Vandal entered the portal he said, "Cassandra will be staying to continue her training, show her no favouritism because she is my daughter"
And with that said, Vandal Savage stepped through the portal back on to Warworld which was currently in orbit around Pluto.
Vandal took a seat in a large chair in the centre of a large room in front of a single large screen. This was the helm of Warworld.
Vandal's mind connected to all the systems of Warworld from life support, weapons, long range sensors to communications systems. Using communications systems, he said, "Call, Lobo"

On a barren moon somewhere in the Milky Way galaxy, a white-grey skinned man dressed like a hell's angel biker was sitting on top of a small heap of corpses with a satisfied smile on his face, this man was called Lobo.
BZZ…
Lobo picked up his communicator, "Yello, Lobo speaking"
"I have a job for you"
"I am listening"
Right then information on Izak Blais along with his current location, listed as Earth, Gotham City, appeared in front of Lobo.
"I want you to find and capture this man"
"No problem, I will contact you when I have him"
Call ended.
"I hope this target puts up a real fight" Lobo said as he got up from the heap of corpses and headed towards his hover bike.
Jumping on the bike, he started its engine and rode of in to the vacuum of space heading towards Earth.
