"Y/n?" Pd-nim said.
You hummed.
"By this time, I can say that... it's hard to let you go, not because of what Taehyung said earlier. You were the reason why the boys have grown this much. But you need to do something to clear this rumor." Pd-nim said.
"What is it?" You asked.
"Well, you can do whatever you want. You and Taehyung can talk about it and tell the public the real story. The boys are having a press conference today. You can come with them." Pd-nim said.
You nodded and said goodbye to him. You come out of the room and hear something in the boys' dance studio. The lights were open.
"Who...?"
You came closer to the door and opened it slowly. You heard Taehyung's voice... he was singing 4 o'clock.
"... Wae ulgo itneunji yeogin nawa neo ppuninde... Me and you... Oh you..." Taehyung sings.
His voice made you feel soft as he sang with so much emotion. Plus, this was your favorite song.
"Gipeun bameul ttaraseo... Neoye noraessoriga han georeumsshik du georeumsshik bulkeun achimeul deryeowa..."
You opened the door and came inside. Taehyung stopped singing and looked at you.
"Hey..." You said.
"How's talking with him?" Taehyung asked.
"Pd-nim said we need talk about it and reveal the true story later at the press conference." You said.
"Then you're going to leave us? You'll disappear as if nothing happened." Taehyung said.
"... No... PD-nim said we could reveal it to stop the rumors. And... I can stay." You said.
Taehyung's eyes widened, and you finally saw his cute boxy smile again.
"Really?!" Taehyung said, and you could hear his excitement in his tone.
"Yes," You said and smiled at him.
He stands up and hugs you tight.
"I thought you'll leave," Taehyung said.
"You know that I can't leave you guys, right?" You said.
Taehyung giggled and still hugging you.
"Leave it to me. I'll explain everything. I know you hate talking to the media, so I'll speak for you." Taehyung said.
*In the press conference*
You were sitting beside Taehyung. You were so nervous as they took pictures of you and the boys. It started, and the first reporter came to ask a question.
"The question is for Taehyung. So, are you and Y/n really dating?" He asked.
You were not surprised at his question and were about to speak when Taehyung grabbed your microphone.
"That matter is for later, sir. For now, we'll discuss topics about my group and our newly released album." Namjoon said, defending the two of you.
"It's a simple question, sir. You can say 'yes' or 'no.'" The reporter spoke again.
You were surprised when Taehyung suddenly held your hand and lifted it to the table for everyone to see. He then grabs his mic and speaks.
"Does this answer your question, sir? If you want an oral answer, then yes. We are dating." Taehyung said in a serious tone.
The fans that were there were all screaming. You and the boys look at Taehyung, surprised.
"Yah! Are you crazy?! What are you saying?!" You whispered.
Taehyung came closer.
"I want you to be my fake girlfriend," Taehyung whispered and suddenly kissed you on the cheek, making everyone freeze.
"Y/n and I are dating. Pd-nim... I'm so sorry for lying earlier." Taehyung said, and he smiled, then looked at you.
You were blushing so hard.
"Cute~," Taehyung said and pinched your pink cheeks.
You were so shy and tried to hide your face the whole time. But when Taehyung noticed it, he cups your face.
"Yah~ you're beautiful. Don't hide that beautiful face of yours. It'll be a waste. Where did your confidence go?" Taehyung said, smiling.
You took a deep breath and looked at everyone. It was long, but you didn't get bored or anything. After the press conference, you and the boys returned to the car, and it was only you and the boys in the parking lot. Before Taehyung could get in, you grabbed his collar and pushed him to the car.
"Yah, you're crazy! I thought-"
"Shhhhhhhh... I told you to leave it to me, right? So follow my lead." Taehyung said.
He softly grabs both of your hands, and you let go of him because of his soft touch.
"Yah, love birds! We still have to do something! Get in!" Yoongi said.
The both of you got in the car and left. It was silence until Jin couldn't take it anymore.
"YAH! HOW COME THE TWO OF YOU STARTED DATING?! AS FAR AS I KNOW, Y/N ONLY HAS A BIG CRUSH ON YOU!" Jin shouted.
'Shit...' You thought.
"Y/n-ah... you like me?" Taehyung asked.
"You didn't know?! She didn't just like you! She loves you! You started dating, but you didn't reveal your secrets?!" Jin said.
This time, you're annoyed.
"OPPA! ONE. MORE. WORD. AND I'M GONNA BREAK YOUR JAW." You said, angry.
Jin got scared, even the others. They knew that you were a little angel. You're caring and loving. But they also knew you were a savage devil when angry or annoyed.
"Ahjussi... stop the car. I want to go." You said, still mad.
"What are you saying, Y/n? What if sasaeng fans might attack you?" Hoseok asked, worried.
"I don't care about them. They're just a bunch of stupid and obsessed psychos. Don't worry about me, as I'm confident that I'm not the one who'll end up at the hospital." You said.
The car stopped, you were going to open the door, but Taehyung grabbed your hand.
"How sure are you about that? What happens if you got hurt?!" Taehyung asked in a worried tone.
"They can't hurt me. Plus, I want to think about something ALONE." You said.
They were quiet, and Taehyung slowly let go of your hand. You open the door, grab your bag and run away.
