I watched the scenery as the car drove past, I always love the sound the car makes on a rainy day, it has a calming effect on me.
This is my first day of going to school with people my age. I have always being home schooled since I was little and I don't know why.
If I ask my parents they'll always say that they are trying to protect me, when I asked from what, they will always be like, there's nothing now, but who knows. So being the quiet child I was, I listened and I have been home schooled since I was little.
I guess they saw how miserable I was and they decided that I'll be starting senior year at graham high school in my town. I don't even know if I would like going to school with lot of people, I've been alone for so long that I don't know how to associate with people any longer.
The rule was simple, go to school, get good grades, no friends and most definitely no boys allowed.
My parents have been repeating those words since last summer and by now I can recite them while sleeping.
I don't think I'll have any problem with the rules cause i'm what you call a nerd, so no problem with good grades, and in the last 6years the only people I have spoken to are my parents and my teacher that home schooled me, so I don't think I will be able to make friends.
And I don't think any guy would be interested to talk to me cause i'm also what you call a wallflower, so no fear for the rules.
"Alex we're here" my mom said snapping me out of my thought. "Okay, thanks for the ride"I said"no problem darling, have fun and don't forget the rules" she said while driving off.
I just nodded my head and faced the school where I'll be spending the next one year in, I pray I don't break any rules.
