Chapter 32: Her Broken Heart (4)
As he said that, he smiled bitterly. like he was forcing his lips.
Freddy wanted to shout on him but when he saw him he lost all his courage. He could see that he was suffering.
In the afternoon he saw that his boss was in love and now he was in dispair. How could things change in a few hours.
Freddy was standing there like a statue, he didn't know how to react but he had to say something before it was tool late, he had to stop him from this madness but how, Neil would not listen to him.
He stand there and watched Neil finishing the whole bottle of wine, he was drunk and he couldn't stand, he was about to fall but Freddy gave him support. He helped Neil to sat on the couch, at the same time Neil's phone rang, Neil wasn't sober but when he read the name of the caller he picked it up.
After finishing the call he asked Freddy to immediately take him inside the shower, he stand there the water hit directly his face and in a few minutes he got all wet, he changed the clothes and told Freddy to prepare for him to go to the hospital.
Inside Mercedes Benz, Neil made several calls, one to Jessie, another one to Dr. Steve, he shouted on driver to drive fast a few times.
Freddy could see how restless he was, he could only guess something was wrong with the girl they visited earlier. When they reached to the hospital, Neil didn't wait for guards to cover him he ran and immediately landed in side the elevator, Freddy hardly manege to reach inside before the door closed. He was out of breath already.
When they reached there floor, Neil immediately came out of the elevator and ran towards Angel's room, Freddy tried to catch up with him but he was too fast.
When Neil entered Angel's room she was lying on the bed, she looked life less, he ran towards her, he looked at her and asked "what happened, Jessie called she said you fainted suddenly, Are you okey Angel".
When Angel saw Neil, tears started running from her eyes, she started sniffing, Neil asked what happened tell me, he hugged her and said " Angel please tell me what happened, don't cry, there isn't anything in this world that you can't tell me please say something, I can't see you like that". He gave Angel water and wiped out her tears, then he again asked what happened?
This time Angel said in her trembling voice "my granny died",And she again started crying.
Neil was stunned when he heard that, he asked " who told you and who is your granny".
"She was my landlord, Grace's mother lives near my neighborhood, she told me" Angel replied she sniffed again.
Neil hugged her tightly and said " it's going to be fine, don't cry , it will be fine".
After some time Angel calmed down nurse gave her injection and she fell asleep.
Neil came outside her room. and went to meet Dr. Steve, He asked " Is she fine?"
" She is fine for now but she is in shock, In accident she hurt her head and anykind of shock is not good for her" Replied Dr. Steve.
" Is there something I can do for her, I want her to recover quickly" said Neil.
" Make her happy, if her mind will be in good shape she will recover quickly, emotional shock and trauma is not good for her, It wasn't serious this time but something's like that shouldn't happen again, I know you are not his guardian but you are responsible for her so you have to take care of this" Dr. explained.
Neil came out of Doctors cabin and sat on the waiting area, he was tired and sad.
Freddy came and sat beside him, he handed Neil hotdog and said " It was a long day, we came to hospital twice but I am glad that you are not injured physically, I have booked an appointment with the therapist for tomorrow, you should visit him".
Neil looked at Freddy in disbelief. Freddy continued " I know you are tired, and things are getting complicated with time but that doesn't mean you can leave the things matter to you behind, you can't. Mr. Richardson if you love something you should stick to it no matter what, and you are not someone who is allowed to break, you are not atleast not right now when the person you love needed you most, and about your retirement from acting I will consider you never mentioned it." Then he handed him water bottle.
Neil smiled and snatched his hotdog too and said " I am too hungry, I didn't eat anything since morning" And both of them laughed.
" I want bear too" Neil ordered.
