I sit up in my bed in deep thought after only sleeping for a couple of hours this morning. The events of last night has my mind reckless at the accusations against me to my mate. Do they really think I'm posing as a wolf/being Juduan's mate only to hurt the kingdom? Juduan reassure me that he never thought that about me and that'll hell take care of his mother and Catharine. I could feel his distaste to his mother's words as she spoke them at the table. His beast wanted to lash out at the female's who sat downgrading his mate.
I know that everyone won't be to accepting of their Queen being part vampire. Even the current Queen herself doesn't want me to become her successor. It's hard for me to be concerned with that while trying to regain my memory, return my wolf, and being Juduan's mate all at once. But I hope once we returned to the kingdom, I can start being a true mate to Juduan.
A knock sound on our adjoin door before he himself walked into the room, "morning, my Queen."
I hum in response sending him a small smile, "woke up a little restless."
He only stares at me in response stopping at the foot of the bed. I glanced over his casual attire that still has that royal look. I throw the covers from my feet crawling over to him at the end of the bed. Juduan grips the footboard leaning over while I sat on my knees before him. Our faces now set just inches apart.
"My wolf can feel his mate," Juduan whispered out intensely.
"Really," I question in shock placing my hands on his shoulders.
Eija was right, my beast was awake fighting at the surface of my consciousness to return. Maybe it wasn't just the event of last night that keep me awake, but my restless wolf. I'm sure she longs to return and reclaim her position from the vampire gene we now posse. She fought so hard for it to not take over and now it's fighting her to keep her away.
"I had some time to think it through Juduan and I still want to mate with you," I voice with not a trace of doubt, tilting my head down so I can look him in the eye.
"I hear you, my Queen," Juduan sings placing a gentle hand on my face.
He leans in as his hand trailed to the back of my neck with a solid grip. I took a intake of breath pulling myself more up to my knees. Juduan wraps his other arm expertly around my waist pressing me up against him. Our lips brush lightly against each other as our breaths become ragged with passion. His eyes flash a deep hazel color of his wolf before pressing his lips against mine. I release a surprise moan at the sparks that ignite when they touch.
Juduan wrap his arm tightly around my waist deeping the kiss. A over whelming joyful feeling rush over my body. The kiss threw away all the hidden doubt in me that was hesitate to mate with Juduan. He will be the only male who could make me feel like this. I race my fingers across the waistband of his trousers suddenly wanting more.
"Not now," Juduan breaths pulling slightly away to rest his forehead against mine, "but once we get back I promise to claim you as mine."
I couldn't help but smile in my attempt to catch my breath, "ah, yes, the briefing."
Juduan smiles placing a kiss on my forehead, "I want you to train with Eija a few days without your beast. It'll help you maintain control with both of them when she does return."
I nod with a tilt of my head understanding his reasoning, "I agree and we should probably get going."
"I'm sure they won't mind waiting five more minutes."
I couldn't help but laugh as we fall back onto the bed lips lock together again.

"I can't believe I've witness the day my brother is late to a briefing," Rajah announced once Juduan and I entered the meeting room, "that he schedule."
Juduan only replied to his brother with a simple look. I couldn't help but blush knowing that I was the reason for our lateness. The meeting room only held a table seated for twelve occupants. I sent a warm smile to Ordan, Silver, and Grey who sat near the door. I was happy to see familiar faces joining us on our journey to the Upper East. Juduan pulled out the seat next to Cressida for me to take my seat. She place a welcoming hand on my shoulder giving me a knowing smile. Rajah and Eija sat across from us as Juduan took the head of the table. Trent stood on the right of Juduan pencil and pad ready for the meeting to commence.
"Good morning everyone and I appreciate you all for agreeing to accompany us to the Upper East," Juduan starts looking to everyone in turned, "Cressida will give us information on who we're looking for and Trent will give us a run down of the plan."
"We need to find a powerful witch named Rosalie. She is the only witch I know who can overpower dark magic. The last known location I have of her is The Upper East Mountain," she lays out without wasting a second.
"Wait, where does the dark magic come into this?" Silver question with a wave of his hand.
"We think someone use it's source to cast away my memories," I profess before Juduan could answer for me, "can't remember anything pass meeting Cressida; just that I was running from someone or something. Which can turn out dangerous."
Ordan, Silver, and Grey listen without any judgment in there eyes. It brought relief to know that they are fully willing to accept me for who I am.
"Without regaining my memories of before I can be putting this pack...kingdom in danger," I breath with realization.
"Asena, don't think like that," Rajah tries to assures me, "my brother has been doing that way before he found you."
"Quit with the jokes Rajah," Juduan growls while opening the bond to comfort me.
But I couldn't help the small smile at his brother's words. Juduan was sure to tell me, through the bond, that he doesn't see me as a danger to his kingdom. I was his mate. His duty, as Alpha, is to protect the pack and me as well.
"We can worry about endangering the kingdom later," Cressida waves off, "we should just be focusing on getting your memories back."
Juduan look to Cressida with clear disapproval of her view in this situation. He clearly cares much about his pack and there safety, but he also wants to protect me. Cressida's only focus is to keep her promise and help me regain my memory. I should have thought about this danger that I could potentially bring way before I arrived at the kingdom. Maybe, the Queen was right, I could be jeopardizing his future as King.
"I will not allow anything to hurt my kingdom or my mate. But we also can't assume anything until we get the dark magic out of Asena. Her memory is important to her as it is for the kingdom," Juduan announce after a minute of silence.
"Nothing less, Alpha," Ordan vows with a bow of his head followed by Silver and Grey.
"Give us the rundown, Trent," Rajah announce with a hidden smile.
