"I want you to release a mass production of your limited edition, Blue Heaven. Create another series and send it to me."
Zhang Qingyu on the other end was dumbfounded by her brother's words. "Bro, what are you talking about? Why do I need to do that?", she asked.
"My wife reserved the dresses but a small-fry nobody had put them on before we arrived. She doesn't deserve a second hand dress. Just do as I say.", Zhang Yixing indifferently explained.
With just a few brief sentences, Zhang Yixing managed to enlighten Zhang Qingyu and at the same time further humiliate Jiang Yifei.
Imagine being unacknowledged in the first place then deliberately insulted the second. Jiang Yifei was so mortified that she just wanted to leave that place and pretend that nothing ever happened.
But aside from the humiliating words she received, what she couldn't believe were the words 'my wife'.
"Just when on earth did Zhang Yixing got himself a wife?!", Jiang Yifei incredulously asked her self. "Does he mean a legally wedded wife? And he is pertaining to this woman?!"
Jiang Yifei then again looked at Zhou Yuexi in an unbelieving manner. She couldn't accept the fact that Zhou Yuexi, who snatched her dresses and belittled her a while ago also took Zhang Yixing away from her!
On the other side, Zhou Yuexi enjoyed watching Jiang Yifei in a helpless situation. She didn't know why, but she felt a different kind of glee in her heart when she heard how Zhang Yixing addressed Jiang Yifei as someone insignificant to him and how he thought of a better way to irritate the woman who tried to nab what's supposed to be hers. Whether it was the dresses or it was her husband, Zhou Yuexi herself was clueless, all that she knows us that Jiang Yifei was getting on her nerves.
Zhang Yixing ended the call with his sister and turned to Zhou Yuexi. "Let's go darling, don't bother your self with unimportant things. That Blue Heaven, whatever that is, is no longer limited edition. Xiao Yu agreed to make you another set of limited edition dresses, those will be delivered to our house personally by her so there's no need to stay here any longer.", he dotingly said to Zhou Yuexi as he caressed her soft wavy hair.
It seemed like the only thing he ever cared for in this world is his wife and how he could pamper her. The onlookers couldn't help but look away from the couple since it felt like a sin to watch the rumored Ice King be so warm to someone.
Zhou Yuexi on the other hand was dumbfounded with the sudden hair assault but since she was pleased with how he dealt with the problem at hand, she just let him do whatever he wanted. She herself thought of a way to make her finishing attack to those who ruined her mood.
"Really darling?!", Zhou Yuexi asked as she held Zhang Yixing's right hand with both her hands and looked at him with glimmering eyes.
Zhang Yixing nodded. "Of course! It's my pleasure to do anything to pamper you darling.", he replied.
"You're really the best husband in the world!", Zhou Yuexi squealed as she ran in to hug Zhang Yixing which caught him off guard.
She wasn't acting at all when she praised Zhang Yixing, it was as if it was her body's natural reaction. She herself was stunned when she realized that she embraced Zhang Yixing.
Just as Zhou Yuexi was about to let go, Zhang Yixing pulled her back into his arms and placed a kiss at the top of her head. "Only for you.", he said in a gentle tone just enough for nearby people to hear.
Though Zhang Yixing was surprised with the abrupt hug, it wasn't as if he didn't like it. In all actuality, he was really pleased with how Zhou Yuexi was loosening up to him bit by bit. It made him feel like all of his efforts to pamper her was paying off. He was so delighted that he couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.
Zhou Yuexi's cheeks blushed all the way to her neck and ears the moment she felt his lips on her head. She was so thankful that her face is well hidden in Zhang Yixing's chest or else she doesn't know how to hide her face that's as red as a tomato.
Finally, Zhang Yixing seemed to have noticed that they have audiences who were sick of being fed by their dog food so he decided to leave with his wife.
Zhang Yixing broke their embrace and settled his hands on Zhou Yuexi's waist instead. "Let's go. Where do you want to go next?", he said as he led her out of RB.
Zhou Yuexi jolted at the warm touch of Zhang Yixing but it wasn't an uncomfortable feeling, in fact, she kind of liked it. She liked the warmth that his hands bring as she always felt cold, so having a human heater is a blessing she is more than thankful for.
"Hmm... I need more corporate attires, I think you could help me find good ones.", Zhou Yuexi said after a brief contemplation. "Any shop you recommend?"
"Okay, let's go to where I get my suits done.", Zhang Yixing answered.
When they arrived at the shop, Zhou Yuexi skimmed her eyes through the whole store and found that it was a shop for men. "Um... Darling, isn't this store only for men?"
Zhang Yixing just smiled at her and had one of the staff to take her measurements. "Make female corporate attires for her."
The staff immediately complied. A female employee with a tape measure in hand smiled at Zhou Yuexi and asked her to do necessary poses for taking body statistics.
"Okay, fine. He's the boss, whatever he says goes. There's no such thing as policies, with just a word from him, those will all be invalid.", Zhou Yuexi thought to her self while having her measurements taken.
After the female staff finished listing the numbers, another staff member approached Zhou Yuexi. "What design would you like for your clothes madam?",he respectfully said.
The people working here are definitely professionals. The way they conduct themselves around their customers is how a salesclerk should be like, unlike how the two salesladies from RB were. They didn't pose a bias against Zhou Yuexi even if they don't know who she was and why she was with Zhang Yixing.
Meanwhile, Zhou Yuexi was busy imagining designs for her outfits. Her mind was in frenzy just thinking about the beautiful styles she could have them make.
"I want...", she started.
"Make sets that match each one of my suits.", Zhang Yixing cut her off.
Zhou Yuexi immediately objected. "WHAT? NO!", she exclaimed.
Hearing Zhou Yuexi's disagreement, a slight crease formed at Zhang Yixing's forehead. "What's wrong with having matching clothes? You don't want to pair with me? Huh darling?", he interrogated.
"Of course! Your suit collection's colors are way too dull for me. All you have is black and gray, black and gray, and black and gray. I'm already as pale as I could be if I wear such dull colors, I would definitely look like a corpse by then!", Zhou Yuexi debated.
Zhang Yixing considered Zhou Yuexi's words. "Fair enough. What colors do you want then?", he asked.
"Dark Blue, Maroon, Red, Yellow", Zhou Yuexi listed. "And... Anything bright just not neon colors and orange."
"Don't like orange?"
Zhou Yuexi shrugged. "I don't know. I just can't imagine myself in an orange outfit. I think the color doesn't suit me."
"Nah, you look good on anything.", Zhang Yixing countered.
Zhou Yuexi just blushed at the compliment. "That's just what you say."
Zhang Yixing answered seriously, "I'm telling the truth though." then he turned to the staff. "Anyways, make female versions for each of my suits in the colors she listed.", he ordered them.
"He just won't drop the idea of twinning with me huh?", Zhou Yuexi thought to her self. "Since he wants me to adjust to his style, then he'll have to adjust to me as well."
As expected of Zhou Yuexi, being the profiteer that she is, she would never agree to a deal where she doesn't get anything from the other participating side. She wasn't losing though, as Zhang Yixing's clothes are of best quality and are rather stylish despite being dull in color.
"I would love it if you wear them in the same color though. I think we could pull off a better effect if we do that.", Zhou Yuexi suggested.
Zhou Yuexi knew she was treading on thin eyes as Zhang Yixing do not adjust for people, they adjust for him. He's the Mighty Ice King Zhang Yixing after all, anybody would drop to their knees, run errands and even lick his shoes if he asks them to, just to get on his good side and maybe have a partnership deal with him.
Hearing Zhou Yuexi's offer, Zhang Yixing felt that she testing his limits on how far he's willing to spoil her, and he is nowhere giving up on his oath to pamper his wife to the point that she's spoiled rotten.
"Fine. Make me another set of the designs I already have, turn them into the colors she want.", he ordered.
"Sure thing! Anything else Sir, Ma'am?"
Zhou Yuexi gave off a sweet smile which reached her eyes as she answered the staff. It was such a brught smile that even though the lower half of her face is well hidden, one cluld still tell that she was smiling underneath the thin fabric. "Yes, I want a baby pink colored coat partnered with a white blouse and baby pink pants or pencil skirt."
The staff who were listening to her requests felt nervous on her behalf as they knew that she was going overboard this time. Imagine the Mighty Ice King of the business world wearing a baby pink suit to work, it's so unlikely that even imagining it could send chills to one's spine. It would still definitely look good but that's nat the point!
Zhang Yixing eyed Zhou Yuexi as if asking if she was being serious but he was answered with an innocent look.
He felt really helpless against his wife. "Does it really have to be pink?", he tried to bargain.
"But I want it.", Zhou Yuexi answered with a pout.
When she saw that he was really contemplating whether to agree to her request or not, she smiled in victory.
"Make me a baby pink... necktie and handkerchief.", Zhang Yixing said in surrender. There was no way on earth he would wear a pink suit to work, this is the best he could do to satisfy his demanding wife.
What Zhou Yuexi was doing was the exact definition of the saying, "Offer an inch and they take a mile". The only difference is, Zhang Yixing is more than willing give a hundred million miles to Zhou Yuexi even if she wanted just a few inches. It was the first time she personally asked for something that Zhang Yixing didn't offer, so even if it was beyond his limitations, he still gave in.
Zhou Yuexi was so pleased with Zhang Yixing that she squealed in delight and hugged Zhang Yixing again.
"Darling, I was just teasing you! You didn't have to go that far. But still, thank you for always giving in to me. I really appreciate it. Thank you!", she sincerely said while looking straight into Zhang Yixing's eyes.
Zhang Yixing felt that his sacrifice was worth it. What's wrong with wearing pink if he gets this kind of treatment from his wife in return? If this was the condition to get his wife to lower her barriers to him, he was more than willing to wear pink everyday. Even if she asks him to wear a hot pink one, he would most probably comply without any second thought.
The most important thing for Zhang Yixing right now is how to make his wife happy and how to make her fully trust and depend on him. He wanted to do everything that would make Zhou Yuexi feel like marrying him is the best decisions she ever made in her whole life and have not even a second of regret.
"I already told you darling, I plan on spoiling you till you're the most pampered person in the world. You married me, the king of the business world and I want my queen to have the best life this world could ever offer.", Zhang Yixing dotingly said as he snaked his hands around Zhou Yuexi's waist.
The onlookers who were watching the lovey-dovey couple all turned around to give them some privacy. But the more weighing factor for their action is the fact that they can't stand the amount of dog food being forcefully shoved into their mouths by the husband and wife pair.
They were so envious by how well Zhou Yuexi was being treated by Zhang Yixing. They were so curious as to who exactly on earth is the blessed person in front of them who gets to be treated like a real queen. Half her face is covered by the face mask but they could still feel the novelty and elegance she carries. And they were not wrong with their assumption.
