Unknown to Jiang Chen and his sister, another tragedy was about to unfold after they had managed to calm down their emotions due to Su Mei's sudden disappearance.
Jiang Chen managed to steady his trembling body and soul when he remembered that he needed to go back and check on Xia Yue.
"Let's go back and check on your sister Yue's condition. Anything could happen at this moment, and we need to stay close, especially since we don't know what will happen with these changes," he said.
"Okay, that's also what I wanted to say to you," replied Little Yan.
As the two prepared to return to the room where Xia Yue was left, another wormhole appeared in the hallway between them.
"Ji-Jiang Chen?! Help me! What is this thing?" Xia Yue exclaimed in desperation. She had just managed to calm down her emotions after hearing Jiang Chen's comforting words upon waking up. She had yearned to hear those words from him for days, months, and even years. She knew that he had always looked at her when they were together, but everything changed when he met his now-ex-girlfriend.
He had started to distance himself from her as a sign of respect for both parties. Little did Jiang Chen know that Xia Yue, being a proud daughter of a renowned family, had already developed feelings for him. As a girl, she couldn't just say that she liked him or make the first move. But everything changed when she found out that he was already in a relationship.
She couldn't just sigh in regret as her wishes were supposedly being fulfilled. Every memory of their time together flashed through her mind. She was afraid that this would be the last time she would see him.
"Jiang Chen! Remember, I have always loved you. Please find me soon!" she cried out in desperation as she was slowly being pulled into the wormhole.

Jiang Chen froze on the spot when he saw another wormhole appear out of nowhere in the middle of the hallway.
Something snapped in his soul, and he could only shout in anger, loss, and desperation as he saw Xia Yu being pulled into the wormhole.
He tried to command his body to run towards her, but it was no avail, as if his body was not his own and he was just viewing everything from a third-person perspective.
But he knew he needed to do something. He couldn't bear to lose another important person, especially not Xiu Yue.

As he struggled to run towards her, Jiang Chen vomited blood and his seven orifices began to bleed nonstop.
An overwhelming aura descended, enveloping everything. The strange thing was that it didn't damage anything; it seemed to exist for the sole purpose of stopping Jiang Chen from moving.

Jiang Chen heard four snapping sounds break within his soul, but in his current state of mind, he couldn't fully process the significance of the sounds.
His body began to emit a thick mist that seemed to be infused with a dark and malevolent energy, and an aura of an unknown and sinister origin enveloped him, as if he was being possessed by some evil force.

"Warning! Intruder detected! An intruder has attempted to destabilize and interrupt the process of synchronization!"
Eliminating the intruder.
"A Heavenly Realm person from the depths of the Land of Carnage has attacked and killed some natives! Deploying the World Binding Suppression Array."
Deployment successful.
"Roar! Just you wait! Someday we will destroy and devour you!"
"You puny humans! You killed my two beloved sons. As punishment, I will take these three little girls as payment for what you did!" An angry voice echoed throughout the Earth.
Everyone felt a shiver down their spine. Just a mere voice could cause them this kind of fear, what's more, when they face this person personally.
As everyone had one thought running through their minds, "Who was this lunatic who dared to kill the sons of this scary entity?!"
With this aura alone, this entity could wipe out everyone from the face of the earth. And now, he was mercilessly offended as his two sons had been killed. "What did we do to face this kind of situation?" everyone wondered in fear and confusion.
