Chapter 45: Wang entertainment
Ye-Jin took a long time to respond to Ray's question.
Actually, she didn't even hear what he asked her. It was only when he tapped her on the shoulder to gain her attention that her soul got back in her body. She was shocked senseless looking at Ray's agency standing in front of her in an imposing manner that chills ran down her spine.
Ye-Jin: (stuttering) b-but-
Ry: (chuckling) yes we are going to meet my members.
This information almost had ye-Jin go into a panic attack. He didn't relent to her when she kept on pestering him to let her meet the guys. He always kept evading her request with one or other shitty reason. Now he just went and dropped this huge bomb on her when she had given up all hopes and most importantly she wasn't ready!
She dint think twice but just hit him hard on the shoulder.
Ray: (wincing) ow! that hurt!
Ye-Jin: (coldly) you aren't supposed to complain! You should've told me before. I would've come looking more presentable.
Ray: (pouting) you don't like my surprise?
Ye-Jin: (closing her eyes) don't pull a cute trick on me, Ray! I am not falling for it. I'll hit you more if you irritate me more.
Ray: (sighing) ok I am sorry. I just wanted to see you happy that's all.
That was all it took for the storm brewing inside Ye-Jin's mind to vanish completely. She was so touched that she almost cried in front of her. She held it in thinking about her already messed up appearance due to messed up sleep patterns. She was feeling a little regret but more than anything she was feeling excited and looking forward to what was coming next. She didn't wait for him and directly got down the car.
Ray was feeling helpless around her due to her oscillating mood. Just a moment ago she was angry and hit him but now she forgot about him and was already thinking of ditching him. He gave up on understanding women even before trying. He knew he would definitely fail even if he tried.
In no time both of them walked into the large entertainment company- 'Wang'. Who would have believed that merely four years ago this company was run in a little basement unknown to the world? It was all thanks to the earth-shattering popularity and growth of the five guys whom they recruited back then through auditions based on a variety of skills helped them shoot up in the circle to become an entertainment giant. Nowadays the scenario was such that every new face wished to join this company and it was a sure thing that in no time their artists would become huge stars.
Ye-Jin was a curious little cat in this building. Although she had visited this place a number of times for her friend Aera she wasn't this nervous. She timidly followed Ray like an obedient pet chanting in her mind to stay calm and not make a fool out of herself.

Chapter 46: The guys
When both of them entered the lobby of the building in no time they were surrounded by juniors. Ye-Jin who was new to this felt a little intimated by the sudden crowd. Ray, on the other hand, was cool as a cucumber. He calmly greeted all his juniors and every other assistant with a polite smile. He looked back at Ye-Jin to see her trying to hide behind him.
He couldn't help but chuckle a little when he saw her being timid. The first impression he had of this woman was that she was extremely courageous and nothing scared her but currently she resembled a little kitten.
One of the girls from the group surrounding them noticed the woman behind Ray and since she was a brave one she couldn't help but ask about the stranger in the company.
Girl: Senior, who is that behind you?
Ray didn't expect anyone to be this direct with him. After all, it was his private matter but still, he couldn't reprimand or be harsh to his juniors. He had mastered a very tight control over the past few years of his life as an idol.
Ray: (smiling softly) she's a friend of mine. If you guys excuse me we're in a little hurry.
After he politely said so the crowd didn't hold me any longer. There were many who were reluctant to let him go but they couldn't do anything and quietly made way for the pair.
Ray grabbed Ye-Jin's hand and without looking back marched forward into the elevator. This action of his made many jaws fall to the floor.
'Wasn't Ray rumoured to be in a relationship with Kai?'
'Why was he holding hands with a girl?'
'Were they dating?'
'Nah! that can't be. The girl definitely his cousin.'
Within the span of mere fifteen minutes, many speculations were made but ultimately everyone settled on
'Ray had brought his cousin to the company to give her a tour.'
None of them remembered that Ray himself had clarified that the girl with him was a friend of his.
Ye-Jin let out a breath which she had been holding when they were surrounded by so many people.
Ye-Jin: (curiously) is it always like that for you?
Ray: (chuckling) not every day. I thought you were used to crowds.
Ye-Jin: (shrugging) not to the fan crowds.
Soon the elevator doors opened and Ray got out still marching ahead holding Ye-Jin's hand. They were on the top floors of the building. There were not many rooms up here but every room had its door closed.
The curious cat Ye-Jin wondered what was kept in those rooms but she didn't dare act upon her thoughts. Before she could shake off the thought Ray himself supplied her with the answers.
Ray: This complete floor is for our group. All these rooms have various purposes, some are studios, dance practice halls, meeting rooms and everything else.
Ye-Jin listened to each one of his words with apt attention. It was as if he was telling her the secrets of being immortals. Ray obviously was pleased with her focus completely placed on him and his words.
Ray: (continuing) The guys are all waiting for us in our vocal practice room.
Ye-Jin: (blinking) they're all here?
Ray: (nodding) yes. We have a meeting at noon about our tour to Shanghai.
Ye-Jin: (speechless) oh!
Ray: (stopping in front of a door) here we are.
Ye-Jin: (swallowing) uh-
Ray: (patting her head) don't worry. they won't eat you-
Before Ray could finish what he was going to say the door to the room opened bringing a gust of air with it.
