Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2 Triggered the curse

Ray wakes up with a groan, looking around
the trees were a house.
It didn't take long to recognize the house, it was the Salvatore Boarding House.
"So how it feels?" A voice comes from behind and it was the loudest he ever heard making him jump in panic.
He turns to see G.O.R. standing in front of him.
"Easy big guy" Ray says, he was about to answer G.O.R.'s question but then feels something in his ears.
He touches his ear with a finger and sees blood.
"What the hell?" He says looking at the blood.
"Oh, must be because of super hearing" It was again loud but this time it didn't hurt like last time.
"So How do you feel?" G.O R. asks.
Ray starts noticing every change in him and realizes what he is feeling the most.
"Angry" Ray says with a calm face but he was angry about nothing.
"That can be because of the werewolf side, even if it's not triggered yet"
"It's not?"
"Not yet but I guess you know how it works so... and yeah remember if you misused your abilities, I will give you a punishment," G.O.R. warns and disappears.
"Wait that wasn't in the list" Ray says but G.O.R. disappears before it.
"Who you were talking to?" Ray again jumped with shock because of the loud noise. It was Stefan who came out listening to a voice.
"Just one thing first, keep your bloody voice down, it makes me bleed" Ray says pressing his ears.
"And I was talking to myself, is there any problems with it?" Ray asks angrily.
"Yeah, you are talking. to. yourself. in my property," He says and Ray looks around and nods admitting his fault.
"Oh, I'll leave" Ray says and starts walking away but then sees his reflection in the fountain.
"Woah, is that me?" He looks at himself wide-eyed.
"I look like Cody Christian, just a little taller and five-time more handsome" He says smiling making Stefan think he just escaped an asylum.
"You know Cody Christian?" He asks pointing his finger at Stefan.
"I don't know who is he and I don't care... just leave" Stefan crosses his arms and by his look, it was clear that if Ray didn't leave in next ten seconds, he will go full ripper on him.
Ray understands the situation by the look on Stefan's face so he just turns around and wooshed away.
He was good looking, muscular, brown hairs, fair skin and has few marks on the shoulder and one on a biceps.
But one more important thing was that he was not wearing any daylight ring and still he is not burning yet.
He suddenly realized that today is the day when Damon will leave Stefan and will sleep until Elena wakes up and Matt will ask him to leave Mystic Falls.
Ray suddenly leaves the place and starts searching for some new clothes (G.O.R. did not give him a new set of clothes so he was in the same clothes in which he died, and because his new body was much muscular than the last one so his clothes were little short.)
He changed his clothes, paid on the counter and left the store and a when he was walking down the street he realized that someone was following him.
It was Matt Donovan, Stefan called him after he sped away.
Ray keep walking and took Matt to the alley where no one was present,suddenly Matt appeared in his front with a gun full of wooden bullets.
"Donovan?" Ray says.
"How do you know my name? " Matt asks holding the gun still.
"Maybe because it's written on your uniform asshole and I'm not your enemy so don't worry I'm not going to hurt you" Ray says without any change in expression
"You are a vampire and I know how you guys play, so don't act like an innocent man. You guys kill people without any mercy" He claims.
Ray sighs on Matt's stubbornness and speaks "Don't you got something better to spend your day on, let me live my frickin new life"
Matt makes a confused face as he keeps aiming at Ray.
"What are you saying? You don't even know how to convince people... do you?" Matt asks and by now Ray was already on the edge.
"Why convince when you can kill?" Matt shoots Ray the moment the words come out from his mouth.
Ray didn't even flinch from the outside but from inside he screamed louder than the cast of any horror movie.
" And you just put three holes in my brand new shirt, now you are going to buy me a new one with your money" Ray says as he takes out the bullets from his body.
"What?" Matt asks totally confused with Ray's statement.
Ray takes out a bill from his pocket and shows it to Matt, "See I just bought this ten minutes ago and you ruined it, now you will buy me a new one or I'll take yours" Ray growls at Matt.
"You paid for it?" Matt asks cause usually, vampires don't pay for anything and compel the person on the counter.
"Yes" Ray says.
"Why can't you just compel the shop owner to buy it?" Matt advises.
"Can I do that?" Ray asks.
"You are a vampire so yeah go" Matt assures him.
" We will meet soon Matt, for now, I have something important to do...I'm going to buy a new shirt" Ray flees the next moment.
He can't let Matt knew about him too much because he wants to make a surprise entry when Lucian will nearly going to kill Finn mikaelson.
He took off the alley so fast as Matt was shocked because he has never seen a vampire this fast not even Klaus mikaelson.
As soon the sun went down vampire starts coming on streets( Vampires who don't have any daylight rings).
Ray saw Matt in the same alley killing a vampire with the crossbow. Matt didn't realize that another vampire was going to attack him from behind as suddenly Ray comes from behind and rip the heart of the vampire.
In the instant, Matt aims his crossbow on Ray and attacks him.
But nothing happens to Ray as he easily takes out the wooden stake from his heart saying
"You really have a good aim man"
" I said you to leave.... wait how are you still alive.... l... l.. staked you in heart... you are supposed to be dead till now... are you an original? or a hybrid?" He asks.
"I'm both" Ray says with a grin on his face but then something happens.
Matt looks at Ray's eyes who started glowing because he just triggered his curse.
"Your eyes....how they are different?"
Ray P.O.V.
When he killed the vampire he started dizzying and pain coursed through his stomach and then the pain started coursing through his body he realized that he just broke his curse and when the first bone cracked he rushed towards the forest and take off his clothes(he don't want to go back in town naked).
He knows that if he fights with it then it will take hours so he just let every single bone of his body to crack and after nearly ten minutes he feels every breeze in the air and damn that was the best feeling he ever had but he was unable to speak so he just starts running. He then sees around himself and no one was there he was just alone in the forest and soon he turns into his human form and starts looking for the place where he left his clothes.
He needs to gain the trust of Klaus mikaelson so he does not interfere in his work and that is only possible when Elijah believes that he is trustworthy.
Now all Ray needs is to wait for Lucian to take the serum and prevent Finn from dying.
