The 5 Races

Although the inside were empty, it was clean. The only thing inside the small house was a wooden table in the middle of the room and a fireplace that was made of bricks. On top of the Fireplace were dozens of woods, so when the wood is wet, the heat and smoke from the fire would dry them.

Adrian walked towards the table and witha wave of his hand, a dead chicken suddenly fell on the table, out of nowhere.

It was the ring he wore in his right hand index finger. It looked just a simple silver ring, but in truth, it wasn't simple at all. It was a Storage Ring, used to store things in a dead space.

So for it to store things, the things must not be alive, or else it won't enter the space.

The Storage Ring was a gift from the Dwarven Chief, his grandfather. Adrians father was the Dwarven Chief's son and his mother was also the Elven Queen's daughter. In short, he could be considered a royalty of both races.

A years ago, he asked for permission to leave the Main Village in order to train. (The main village could be considered the capital of the Elven Continent.) Even though his grandparents were reluctant, his father allowed him to do so.

The reason was, both the Elf and Dwarf races respect the decision of a child's parent. But still, that does not mean there won't be punishments when mistakes or sins are committed.

Thanks to their kind and considerate attitude, both races lived together in harmony.

When Adrian left, his father told him to return to the Main Village once he reached the age of 17. You might think that they are irresponsible, but Adrian actually begged his parents to let him go. He knelt in front of their door for three days before they finally hot convinced of his conviction.

When he left, his grandpa couldn't bear to let him go and waited in the entrance of the village. Not to stop him, but to gift him a Storage Ring that he personally forged.

The Ring had a thousand cubic meters of space. And right now, Adrian did not even know what to put in such a huge space. When he got the Ring, he felt weird, it was like receiving a gift from an old friend.

When he first met his grandpa, he had a hard time trying to call hum that. Who wouldn't?! Would you actually call someone grandpa when you are about the same age? But over the years, he finally adopted to it. He accepted reality and he recalled his youthful in his previous life.

From the moment he turned 5, he started training his body. If he was a pure dwarf, he wouldn't have to train twice as hard, but because of his Elven blood, he had a hard time strengthening his body.

In exchange, he also had the talent to become a magician. Infact, his talent was enough for him to be called a genius.

The age of 6 was the day that most children would statt to learn magic, it was also the same for Adrian. With his monstrous amount and control of his mana, he was then dubbed as a genius.

It was then that he ignited the hope of the elder generation. He ignited the hope of revenge.

Adrian could see it in the previous generation's eyes. They looked at him warmly, but with his hundreds of years of experience, how could he not see the boiling blood and chilling hate that flashes through their eyes.

Years passed and by the time he reached the age of 13, he reached the Intermediate Magician stage. But although he is an Intermediate level Magician, his control of his mana was actually that of a Grandmaster Magician.

In this world, there are many professions such as being Magician, a Blacksmith, a Warrior, Alchemist and many others.

And with every profession, there are many stages before reaching the pinnacle.

Apprentice, Advanced, Intermediate, Master, Grandmaster, Saint, Legendary, and the never seen before- God.

After the war, Magic and Smithing were the professions common here in the Elven Continent. Adrian had not seen it yet, but in the Human Continent, many professions were created. In this world, they were recognized as the most creative race of all.

But even then, there were only few people in the Human Continent who could rival the talent of the Elves in Magic or the talent of the Dwarves in Forging.

The Demons were famous for being low key. This past thousand years, they did not make any big movements at all, it even reached the point that the Beasts and Humans looked down on them. But the Elves and Dwarves thinks otherwise. They believed that the Demons were the most dangerous beings in the world, and parents took time to teach their childrens what they know.

According to the illustrations Adrian saw in books, their builds were like humans, but they were larger and had horns. Their skins were also purple and had sharp fangs. According to the records, they are the strongest in using dark magics and had strong physical bodies.

As for the beasts, they are the most arrogant of all. They believe that they are the ultimate beings in this world. They believe that they are the most powerful.

Beast, as the name suggest, they are animals. But after they are born, they have the ability to transform to either their human form or their beast form.

Unlike the other races, few from the Beast race try to learn other professions. If they do, most of them would choose Smithing. It was the job perfect for their physical strength and endurance. Compared to the Dwarves, they indeed have stronger physiques, but that does not mean that they cannot be surpassed. Dwarves, Humans and Demons who chose to be warriors could also match their physique with enough training.

If you compare all of them, you would notice that the Humans are the weakest. That is true. Humans are the weakest in power, but they are the strongest in numbers. There are already nearly 2 billion people in their Continent, that made them the acknowledged number 1 race in the world.

Enough of that.

After leaving the main village, he went west, and found an empty and uninhabited valley. So he decided to call the place, the Valley of Wonder.

Because in here, the strongest force you encounter is not any terrifying mosters or somerhing like that. It is the Nature that you cross.

The most mysterious, the strongest waterfall, the widest quicksand, the most delicious fruits, the most delicious animal meats, and most of all, the most peaceful place he had ever been.

It was a place that was impossible not to find. Yet in his map, he could not find this place at all. But after a year passed, he did not care about it at all. He just wanted to train, not because he wants to become the strongest. But because he wanted to try a different way of building.

Ever since he came to this world, he did not see a single builder like him. A builder could build anything, not just craft weapons, you build anything you want.

If he really wanted to, he could build a cannon and an archer tower that can fire by it self. It just needed enough ammunition. He could summon wizards, but in this world, they call them Alchemists.

He could summon the Archer Queen, the Barbarian King , and even the Grand Warden if he wanted to. But of course, since he was in a different world, he was not sure if it really was possible. Haha.

But right now, he only wanted to focus on training and strengthening and toughening his mana and body.

He estimated that by the time he was 17, he could finally start, no, resume his Legendary Building Career!
