Nice to see you again

It's been 2 weeks in summer and I couldn't get my mind off of you. I've been thinking of texting Kaleb but I just couldn't. I thought it would be to much of a hassle to text you. Another thing that has been worrying me this summer is my best friend Tanya hasn't been texting me. Even though it's only been 2 weeks, she use to text me everyday, every hour just to see how I was or just to talk cause she was bored. I mean that's kinda pathetic but still she was my bestfriend. Anyways I'm hungry and there's nothing in the fridge so I started walking to the store. On my way to the store I picked up a movie and bought a few clothes. When I made it to the store I bought chicken, fries, a salad, water, and a soda. When i made it to the register I looked up and it was Kaleb. He seemed so excited and said "Hey Gracie" "oh wait, I'm sorry. Can I call you that?" I laughed and said "sure.. why not." He then looked at me and smiled. He also asked why I haven't called or texted him. I just shook my head and said "I'm so sorry I just thought you didn't want to be bothered" He said "It doesn't matter. You can text me at anytime and I'll reply" I paid for all the stuff and then I told him it was nice seeing him and then I smiled and walked away. When I left I was so lost and the thought that I was just wondering around outside. I lost track of time. When I finally had my head out of the gutter I noticed I was lost. It was dark outside and all the streets lights were on but it was still pitch black. When I looked around no one was on the streets. I tried calling my mom a few times but she didn't answer. So I started walking the way I came from. Then out of nowhere a guy came up to me and asked if I was lost. Like anyone else would do they would say "no I'm good thank you" but I said "Yea can you help me" he smiled and said "sure" and for everyone that is worrying yes I held on to my food for dear life because even though I might not have done the right thing I still wanted to protect my food :)
