The beginning

As I was walking out of the school he came up to me saying "Hey Grace, why were you staring at me." and in my head I was thinking why don't I be brave for a minute. I mean I will never see him again plus it's the last day of school. So out of nowhere I said " Well I was starting at you cause you're very handsome and I've liked you for a while now." All he did was chuckle and the words " I think you're very cute too.""ever since middle school actually" My mouth dropped to the ground and I tried to speak but nothing came out. Kaleb asked me if I was ok but I still couldn't speak. I finally forcefully screamed the words "Take me out for pizza" all Kaleb did was laugh and say "Maybe next time."Hand me your phone though so we can keep in check and get pizza another time" all I did was smile like an idiot and handed him my phone. Laughed nervously and said "bye" and went home. I fell asleep that day smiling nonstop. My mom was also weirded out by it that she constantly threw food at me during dinner. When I went to sleep I'd dreamt of him and I getting married. When I was about to kiss him the alarm went off. I got up and said here's to the first day of summer.
