Chapter 519: Son of Daddy's Friend

"Are you ready?" Xuilan asked while they both stood in front of her apartment door one evening.

Recalling the details that were given to him, Chevre played it back in his mind. The kids were told that she lost contact with their father and did not meet again until recently. 

The little girl is Irene, and the boy is Ivan. They are fraternal twins. Chevre then scoffed, thinking how he had followed in his father's footsteps, having fraternal twins. 

Apparently, as Xuilan had told, his children were smarter than the average kids. That did not come as a surprise to Chevre, considering the level of intelligence they all had as siblings. Still, it pleased him to know. 

"Okay, ready," he said before letting out a sigh and fixing his coat. 

Xuilan smiled at him, utterly amazed at his overly conscious self. It only meant, he cared. She said, "You look fine. Don't get tensed… They are your children… They will - love you."
