"No!" Andrea and Lu Fang both protested at Brie's words; getting married at eighteen. 

Andrea first fanned her face with her hand, feeling her body temperature heating up. She said, "Baby, you can't do that? You can't propose to Tyler - "

"But didn't you propose to daddy when you were younger than me? You were ten back then, right?" Brie asked with her brows raised and her eyes looking up while trying to recall.

"Brie! I was too young. I did not mean what I said!" Andrea retorted. 

Lu Fang turned to his wife. His eyes narrowing as he said, "Of course you meant it. You waited for me to return for a year - Ahhh!"

Andrea punched him in the arm, saying, "You are not helping!"

The man shook his head while Andrea said to his daughter, "Brie, one cannot dictate a person's heart, nor his future. In life, fate will decide if you are meant to be together."
