Chapter 177: Bring Back From the Dead
At a distant hotel, Patricia was acting up again, pressuring her father to contact Lu Fang. She wondered what had happened to him and how come he did not seem affected by the drug they gave him.
She was trembling and biting her finger as she sat on the couch.
"Patricia, I already called twice. I don't think we should be more obvious than we already are. We should just wait," Harold said as he tried to make his daughter loosen up.
"Harold, maybe this will not work. We should just leave them alone, " Pamela suggested. She turned to her daughter and pleaded, "Patricia, please. You are a very beautiful girl. We can find another man for you - Lu Fang, he is married - "
"No! Mommy, no! I want Lu Fang!"
Patricia kept screaming and screaming until she was struggling to breathe.
Her parents rushed to get her medication and after taking a tablet, they let her rest. Harold carried his daughter to the bedroom where she took her nap.
