Chapter 26: Multiple Attacks
The Recruits had to confront the Super Mutant Ghouls in Close Combat.
If not fro the Power armor the power alone would have been a big gap and they would have been squashed to paste.
The Super Mutant Ghouls swinging a Board with a sawblade in the Wood downwards, one of the Recruits bent down lowering center of gravity and lifted ther left arm up and blocked it with there left forearm the power behind the swing snapped the Board and the Recruit pulled their Pistol out and unloaded it at point blank in the Super Mutant Ghouls face, the Super Mutant fell to it's knees and blood pouring out before falling to the ground, the Recruit moved to the next target.
This was happening everywhere, some Super Mutant Ghouls picked up the Recruits and slammed them down on their back, the other Recruits and Assaultrons joined together shooting at the Super Mutant Ghouls that was about to attack the Recruits on the ground but they got killed first, helping the fallen back to their feet they continued fighting.
They are strong. (Preston)

Preston took aim with his laser rifle and fired, the Ghoul crawling up a recruites back was killed. I seen this and is also going to join taking my PSG1 out, I started shooting helping the ones that need help the most.
They are strong, and unified together supporting one another. (Preston)
That is what I like to see, only together can we make a difference, if we are not standing as one united then we are fighting amongst ourselves we will only lead to distrust and destruction of ourselves (Brendon)

The troops cleared out the last Super Mutant Ghouls.

Preston, clear out the the last of the roaming Ghouls, I will head out to start working on the tower, also secure the Build site. (Brendon)

Commander Red moved the troops through the entrance as there is a gate surrounding the area they had to go through the only entrance with a water fountain before the entrance forced the troops to split in half going left and right of it.
On the left there is a Parking Garage for the Med-Tek employees, as the Recruits and Assaultrons moved over to the entrance getting ready to enter the main structure. Sentry bots moved to clear the Parking lot of any Ghouls as they got closer Bright light flashed from inside the Parking lot and that was followed by more flashes that looked like blue flash grenades was activated. Blue lasers started hitting the Sentry Bots in waves, Commander Red Started moving and sending Grenades into the parking lot making small explosions. Then had the Sentry bots send a wave of bullets into the Parking lot.
This drew the attention of the Assaultrons and Recruits and they quickly moved over to join.

I looked down to the flashes and seeing the battle taking place, the pilot moved to get a better view and seeing more flashed on the top level of the parking garage and Synths appered. Seeing them they also seen us in the sky and started shooting at the Vertibird. The Pilot evades the lasers quickly, but preston that was aiming out the Vertibird shooting a few Ghouls was unlucky shot.

I spoke calmly on the Radio.
All troops, Institute presences has been confirmed, go Loud! I repeat, Go Loud. Wings fly in and add Support. (Brendon)
The Vertibirds flew over and started shooting the Institute Synths on the Garage Roof, Preston after being applied medical treatment asked Commander Red to retreate the ground force to allow the Synths to rush out from the garage door allowing us to have better attack advantage. He did just that, and the troops started shooting them when they come out, I seen they have no cover and the Synths exiting endlessly in waves are hitting the defenceless troops before getting killed if no cover is set up casualties will happen.
Jade, can you put sandbags up for the ground force, make a half circle around the Garage door. (Brendon)

The Vertibirds flew over and the gunners rained bullets. The Synths unable to last got destroyed quickly, one Vertibird hovers close and dropped the troops off as they land a loud bang upon contact with there power armor, the Vertibird flew off and another team joined that was three Squads.
They moved in and started clearing floor by floor. Commander Red sent troops in from the bottom to go up to do a Pinscher attack. The others stayed out to not get stuck by to many going in. The teams heading in had there radios on to allow us to have updates of the situation.
We are moving up. (1)
Affirmative, We are moving Down. (2)
They are on the middle floor holding out, if this keeps up they will be removed in T-3 Mikes. (1)
Roger, we will arrive in a second from behind. (2)

All troops Retreat! Get out of the building! (Brendon)
Seeing the Troops retreat back and seeing the troops at the bottom of the Parking Garage Escaping, the ones at the top had to move back to the top and when arriving they looked at me.
The squad leader and me had made eye contact but before the leader can make a quick decision the Parking Garage Exploded, Fire blasted out from all floors looking like a Rocket fire exhaust for a NASA Rocket. The Troops on top tryed to jump off the roof as they have X-01 Armor and its not far but once Flames arrived started melting the concrete.
When it arrived to the squad jumping the armor started melting, but then the unexpected change happened, the flames changed from fire to Cryo Ice, Ice formed where the once Melting Concreat was and it Traved out of the Parking Garage traved rapidly to the Recruits on the roof and froze there falling bodies in seconds.
The Parking Garage that was weakened from the Flames that melted the concrete and foundation had Ice Expanding in the Grooves this separated the Support forcing the structure to fall.
The squad that was frozen fell and shattered like glass when they hit the ground. Followed the buildings collapse covered the surrounding into a large Dust cloud.
As the Dust cleared everyone was able to see that part of the Med-Tek main building was also destroyed.
What was that? (Preston)
I dont know, but that bomb is powerful. (Brendon)
How did they know we where going to be here? (Preston)
I got on the radio and spoke.
Look for survivors. (Brendon)
Master, there is no Heat signals, they are all dead... (Jade)

Let them look, they need to at least try, Maybe the Cold building is blocking the heat signals from you. (Brendon)

Commander Red started moving the troops to move to secured areas making a defence area. As the troops are digging and moving large frozen Ice chunks Vertibirds holding important parts was moved away to keep them from being destroyed.
Sir! There is One alive! (?)
He is very hurt Stimpaks are not working! Might even lose his legs and left arm! (?)

The Vertibird landed and I got out, Preston followed after, I passed the Troops and made my way to the Destroyed Parking Garage, seeing a Power armor that has Dark Blue and white ice encased both his Legs and Left arm of the survivor.
What is your name. (Brendon)

Bitting down hard with his teeth he spoke.

If I Quit when I was going through Instructor Higgins traning I would be unable to call the Men and Woman by my side brothers and Sisters in arms. (Chris)
Good. I will tell you something bad to you right now, be strong and keep looking ahead. Your legs and left arm is most likely gone I am not a doctor so once you get to the Base you will be checked out professionally. (Brendon)
Sir? Am I going to be a cripple! I choose death over being a Cripple! (Chris)

You only lost your legs and left arm so what! You can get Robotic Arms and legs, even get booster legs to make you fly and your right arm can even become a Gun or something, or just normal legs and Arms your choice. (Brendon)
I will not become a Cripple? (Chris)
Be patient, don't give up and get uses to not having any limbs, when the time is right you will get your legs and arm back. (Brendon)
That goes for anyone hurt, your not going to be discarded after losing something, but that does not mean to go out there and lose your body parts! (Brendon)

I walked away to leave the man to himself, the troops pickes him up and put him on a stretcher and taken him to a Vertibird.
I and Everyone else looked up to the Vertibird that taken off and fly off quickly to the base.
I got back on the Vertibird and Preston followed quietly, as they took off I Spoke to the troops.
We have lost a few lives today, take a second to send them off.... (Brendon)

{BOOM!}
It was the sound of thousands of small explosions all at once but all at once making a single loud explostion sound.
Looking around, I was stunned, there is at least a few hundred G1 Synths surrounding the troops in one second. The Synths that was aiming at the Troops all aimed upwards, looking at where they are aiming I felt the hair on me stand on ends because they are all pointed at me and preston Vertibird.
Pilot Evade! (Brendon)
Blue lasters all fired at the Vertibird at once from every direction, the Vertibird is strong and the lasers are weaker but so many being fired at once did damage to the Vertibird.
The troops seeing what is happening started shooting the G1 Synths right away but they ignored the troops attacking them and kept shooting the Vertibird.
The Pilot moved to get away but the Twin Propellers was hit making the Vertibird to slow and almost give and the Twin Engines took damage soon followed by smoking, the propellers unable to hold getting hit by so many lasers finally gave and the Vertibird plummeted to the Earth below. As it's falling it got a few feet before it hit the ground, a body fell out and landed further away from the burning Vertibird safly.
{BOOM!}
The Vertibird crashed onto the ground bending and ripping the Vertibird to parts as it dragged along the ground rolling.
