Chapter 5: Angered
His WIFE
Meanwhile, Zhang Han just arrive in their ancestral home. Upon opening the door he walks past the maids who bowed at him and walk directly to the living room.
There in the living room is his family member discussing something.
His grandfather sat in a single couch in the middle, his parents on the right side long couch, and his uncle's family together with his cousin's Fan and Yang Fei were sitting on the left side.
When they hear someone's foot step they look at the entrance and saw Zhang Han.
"Grandfather, Father, Mother, Uncle and Aunt, I'm home." He greets his family except the two who betrayed him and sit together with his parents.
Sitting in front of him is Zhang Fan whose frozen and Yang Fei whose about to say something when grandfather Zhang interrupt her.
"Han, where have you been? You've made us all worried! I even ask someone to check if you are in your penthouse but the receptionist told us that they have never seen you. Even at your office, you have no way to be found!." Grandfather Zhang spoke so worried to his favorite grandson.
"Yeah! Han, I even let those body guards to check the bars or hotels last night, but we still couldn't found you. We're so worried that maybe something happened to you." His father added.
His mother hold his arm, "Han, tell us where did you go? I'm so worried about you son. Thank God you're fine."
"I'm fine mother." And reciprocate her actions.
He looked at his father with a nod then settle his eyes to his grandfather.
"I'm doing great grandfather, there is no need for all of you to be worried."
Then suddenly a trembling voice speaks with so much regret and guilt.
"Han, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that to you. We were drunk and wasted and didn't know what happen. When morning comes we've just realized what happen, but decided to keep it a secret from you as it was a mistake from both of us. Please, forgive me." A crying Yang Fei told him.
Zhang Han looked at her with so much hate and disgust.
" You're feeling sorry now?" his cold voice filled the room.
This make Yang Fei felt even more terrible.
"Please, Han forgive me. You know how much I love you."
Hearing her say this make Zhang Han even more disgusted with her.
"You should have thought twice better doing so." His cold response makes Yang Fei shut up.
The elders just shake their heads. They all know what kind of person Han is. He is so stubborn that makes him even colder person. Even when he's together with Yang Fei, Han never sincerely smiled it's always a forced smile.
"By the way Uncle, Aunt there is no need for both of you to feel guilty. This is Fan's mistake and not yours." He smiled softly that shocks everyone in the room.
'Is there is a wrath coming on the way?' Everyone's thought.
Looking back to his grandfather Zhang Han, held his mother hand feeling a little nervous. "And also, I'm married now so there is no need to be worried."
His words shock them even more.
It's Zhang Fan who broke the silence, with a cold sweat dripping at his forehead Fan ask him slowly.
"Brother, I know we've made a mistake. But please don't do this to yourself. Especially to the woman whom you married if you really are. You will only suffer and So, she is."
Finally, Han look at his cousin and laugh loudly, and again another shock came to them.
"There is no need for you to says this, you just have to be responsible on Yang Fei and never let her bother me. Assessing from her action she might beg to return to me." Han shrug his shoulder nonchalantly.
"Han!" Yang Fei yelled.
"You think I'm that kind of person? Yes, I might still love you but this child is our child, and I want his/her to grow up with his/her parents. I will learn to love Fan and I know that one day I will."
This warm Zhang Fan's heart.
"Then, that's great! Don't let me ever see you again at least for now, since your child is Fan's. You only disgust me!" Han sneered. Zhang Han knows that since the child is Fan's there is still a big chances to see her around.
"Enough!" grandfather Zhang's voice boom in the room. He couldn't watch them any longer.
"Is it trues that you are married and to whom? I don't even care which family she came from, what matters is how you feel?" grandfather Zhang gazed at him softly. He only wants his grandson to be happy after all that has happened.
"Yes, son tell us. As long as you're happy, money and status doesn't matter at all." Mother Zhang beckoned.
Father Zhang and his Uncle together with his Aunt and also Fan nods in response.
Yang Fei on the other hand felts sorry to herself. Zhang is already married, right after her revelation. This means Han never really cared about her, that hurt her the most. She needs to move on fast.
Zhang Han again smiled at them and nod his head.
"Her name is Tang Su, she's an angel. When she's ready I'll bring her here for you all to meet her." And now he remembers his wife all alone in their house.
'Is she awake or still sleeping?' Han thought.
"Okay! I believed you. But where did you go last night?" his grandfather's still worried where he stayed last night. Even though he's a man, and old enough to stay anywhere he's not used to him to stay to an unknown place.
"Oh! I didn't tell you. I own a private Villa in Top executive residence. I plan to live thereafter marriage so that's where I stay." Zhang Han tell them calmly.
Everyone gasps, Top executive residence is the most private and expensive residence in the City. And where the President stays. They thought Zhang Han will settle down in Garden executive Villa where all rich peoples stay. Even though money is not a problem this news really shocked them.
Her Aunt quipped, " We never know that you plan in staying there."
"I know staying here in the mansions bore you, It's far from the City that you need to travel for almost Two hours if you stay here. Then, what about your penthouse son?" his mother inquired.
"You and father can have it! Since father stills works at the company sometimes." He smirked to his mother, implying something.
"Clever Son, very clever." His father laughed.
"Since you've settled down let this matter go now. Just bring your wife sometime. Let's talk something else."
They all felt relieved that Zhang Han didn't do unnecessary thing after Yang Fei and Fan's betrayal.
This is a good start.
Everyone else look at father Zhang, one problem has been settle and there is another one to handle.
Grandfather Zhang decided that It's good that he's the one to address the problem.
"Yang Corporations is in the verge of bankruptcy. Yang Fei's father ask for our help being a family friend. I know you're not willing after what happened, but Zhang Firm is in chaos now that they can't handle everything. If we wait for the firm to handle its matter before helping the Yang's, it will be too late to do so. I'm asking you to consider this matter."
Zhang Han look at his grandfather intently then to the others. Taking a deep breath to control his anger Han stand up after looking at his watch.
"I need to return home now, my wife must be waiting for me. I need to be home before dinner, looking at the time now I guess I still have 2hours to drive. " He kissed his mother head before walking away.
He will never be willing to help the Yang's. He might be married now, and never harbor any feelings to Yang Fei but the betrayal he felt is enough to hate them and let them suffer.
