Chapter 4: Runaway attempt
His WIFE
Two sleeping figures's sleeping soundly in a king-size bed. A woman whose feet now entangled with the man sleeping beside her, her dress is now up into her waist showed her red lacy undergarments. Her blanket can be found under her feet. This woman sleeping behavior is too much. She kept on tossing, turning, and all night that the man beside her didn't have enough sleep.
Zhang Han is now awake, he remembered that this woman beside him is now his wife. With a small smile that crept to his lips he slowly removes his wife's feet that are on him.
Standing beside the bed Zhang Han eyes become sharp and instantly darkened, his heart beating fast, he felt arouse for the first time. Looking at his wife that shows her undergarments without her knowledge, Zhang Han's trembling hand pick up the blanket and cover her. His trying to control his desire.
With a sharp intake of air and final look to his sleeping wife Zhang Han strode fast to the bathroom.
Zhang Han remembered last afternoon after their wedding, when he reached his private villa.
Shaking Tang Su's shoulder to wake her up but with no success, Zhang Han carry his wife inside their threshold.
Walking upstairs into the master bedroom he placed his wife in the middle of the bed. Now he smelled alcohol from her, he didn't notice it Earlier, that the woman he married is not yet sober and maybe still drunk. He laughed a little thinking this is very stupid.
Walking out of the room he called his friend also assistant.
With a second ring his assistant answer his call,
"Yes, sir? How can I help you? How can you still call me in your wedding day?" Fang Ron joke his friend.
"Ron, my wedding with Yang Fei has been canceled." He waited for his friend and also assistant reactions.
Shock for a second Ron almost shout at the phone. "What!!!!!!! Are you joking with me? This is not funny bro."
Shaking his head Zhang Han tried to explain the situation. "Fei fei is pregnant with Fan's child, you know my cousin. And please do not interrupt me, let me finish before saying anything."
Taking a deep breath he continues.
"But I'm still married to another woman. I know it's crazy and very unlike me. You know I never talk too much to any stranger but when I saw her looking lost while walking inside the chapel where my supposed to be wedding is., I told her what happen to me.
To make things short, I drag her at the altar and marry her." He kept silent for a moment waiting for his friend outburst.
"You fucking married a stranger???? Are you gone insane? I know you are shock about Fei fei and Fan's betrayal but how can you do that to yourself? You're crazy man! Very crazy, do I need to call the asylum now and admit you?" Ron loudly spoke, he could not believe him.
He heard a loud laugh on the other line. Zhang Han is laughing about his situation. His friend is really crazy now.
When Zhang Han is sober up he coughs a little.
"No Ron, I'm normal and sane. You will never understand me. Just, please help me and investigate this woman. Her name is Tang Su, I know she's not harmful or anything I want to know more about her."
"So, you married this Tang Su girl huh? Fine I let you go for now, only this time. Let me check this girl for you, I'll give you the report on Monday. I'll hang up now, crazy Han." With that the call ends.
After taking his shower, Zhang Han remembered that today is Sunday, and he needs to return to their ancestral home where his family is waiting especially his grandfather. He needs to explain to them about his marriage with a stranger.
With a sigh he decided to prepare a breakfast to his wife before leaving her alone in their house.
Closing the door he asked the guard to open the gate and tell them about his wife still sleeping inside.
Driving away he's prepared to explain about his marriage but most especially the needs to settle his score with his cousin. He is not getting away with this.
Waking from her sleep, Tang Su sit up from the bed. Looking around she panics, " Where am I? Oh! my God what happen to me."
This is not her room, she looked at herself and check her clothes. She sighed in relief that she is wearing her clothes. With a loud rumble from her stomach she felt starving.
She's wondering where she is. She run in to the bathroom to relieve herself. While looking in a mirror she froze on her spot, in her left ring finger a pink diamond with gold band wedding ring sparks.
A flash from her memories run to her mind.
His boyfriend betrayal, her running away, and drinking at the bar till morning. Walking aimlessly around the neighborhood and stumbling into the chapel and most of all marrying herself to a cold and handsome man.
Tears flowing on her cheeks, what is happening to her now? She didn't know what to do. This really happened to her, this is all Lu Chen's fault. If only he didn't betray her this thing will never happen to her. Why did she allows herself to marry a stranger in her drunken yet sober up state.
She needs to runaway.
Looking at the bedside table today is Sunday and is lunchtime.
Tidying up herself she walked out of the master bedroom and went downstairs.
Her stomach again rumble, she needs to eat.
Looking around Tang Su saw that no ones around. She led herself to the kitchen and saw there is a note on top of the covered breakfast.
Taking the note it reads,
'I'll be out to return to ancestral home, I'll be back before dinner. Eat the breakfast I made for you and feel at home. You can do whatever you want while waiting for me.
Your husband'
Crumpling the notes Tang Su eat her breakfast.
Wow, this food taste heaven. So, he knows how to cook.
After devouring her heavenly breakfast Tang Su decided to runaway.
Upon exiting the door and reaching the gate a guard in uniform approach her.
"Good day Madam, Sir is out to visit his family and will be back before dinner."
Tang Su think for a while and decided to tell him a lie.
"I'm going back to my old apartment to take my things, and maybe shop some clothes." She's hoping he'll believe her.
"Okay Madam, just wait for a while, while a call the driver to prepare a car for you." With that the guards bow, and then make a call.
Within a minute, there's a car pulling up beside her.
"I'll send you to your destination ma'am." The driver bow at her open the car door for her. When Tang Su's settle inside the car. The driver drove off.
"Where to ma'am?" the driver ask her.
"Ahmmm…can you send me to T Mall I just need to buy things." Tang Su nervously told the driver. 'Pls. Don't see through my lie' she prayed.
The driver nodded.
The driver pulled up in front of T Mall,
"Ma'am here we are. I'm just going to park at the parking lot. You can find me there."
"Ah! No..no..no..no.." she shakes her head dismissively. " There is no need for you to wait for me. I'm meeting up a friend, and I…I…I'll call my husband to pick me up. No need to worry." She's holding her breath, 'PLS. Believe me.
The driver look at her for a while, "Yes, ma'am. Have a good day." With that the car drove off away from the mall.
Tang Su sigh in relief. She walked past the mall and take a taxi to her apartment.
Finally, her plan worked. She really runaway from her unknown husband.
She felt so overwhelmed about the turns of event.
This dream is over now is what she thought.
