Chapter 3: Sudden Marriage
His WIFE
In a loud crowded bar Tang Su drown herself in alcohol. She drank glass after glass, her friend Yu Lin shake her head as she watched her friend drown her sorrow.
"Su su, that is enough! You've been drinking for hours now! It's already way past morning as it is 2am now. Please settle yourself while you wait for me, my shift ends till close down around 6am. Please sober up yourself, as I am no way in hell going to drag a wasted you. Here!" Yu Lin grabbed her alcoholic drinks, and replace with a bottled water.
Yu Lin leave her friend at the counter table and back inside where the beverage's prepared. She watched her drank the full bottle then place her head at counter that show that she's about to sleep. Yu Lin let her friend sleep for a while to help her sober up.
A concerned colleague of Yu Lin ask about her friend's situation, she just says she's been betrayed then get back to work.
Yu Lin's been busy that she didn't see her friend wakes up and walked out of the bar, the closing time is near Yu Lin is preparing the inventory that she didn't remember Tang Su.
When work is done Yu Lin looked at her sleeping friend and found that she's gone. She felt in panic thinking that what if her friend has been drag away by a drunkard costumer. She's about to run outside when her colleagues approach her.
"Don't worry she's not taken by someone else, she left by herself a little sober just a minute ago." Then walk away.
That calm her down a little, this friend of her is really troublesome. Thinking that her friend is hurt and needed a time alone she let her go this time.
Tang Su is wandering around the neighboring that she didn't notice that the sun is up, and is almost lunchtime or maybe she didn't care about the time just wanted to be alone. She aimlessly walks around that no one notice her or the guard to be specific that is guarding the gate of the executive garden villa's where almost all the rich person in town live.
Tang Su stumbled herself in a quiet chapel with a beautiful arrangement. She then stop in her track and somewhat awaken up from her dazed.
Tang Su wondered why this chapel arranged with so much elegance that is almost looked like a wedding ceremony is about to happen. Which is right, but only the anticipating wedding didn't occur. She failed to notice a man that is standing at the altar and now looking at her.
Zhang Han looked at the woman who suddenly walk inside the chapel like she had walked directly into his life. He looked at her intently and assessing her beauty.
This girl is way too beautiful in his eyes more beautiful than his now ex, Yang Fei. This girl looked like an angel even in her devastated look, puffy red eyes , trembling lips and wavy hair.
It felt like he has fallen in love for a first-time, like he didn't get dump just an hour ago and feel anew. Maybe he didn't love Yang Fei that much. Now that he think about it Yang Fei is not important to him now like a flash he forgot their past.
With resolve in his mind he suddenly coughed loud, loud enough to startle the beauty that is standing in the middle, and approach her.
Tang Su suddenly heard a loud cough that cause her to stumble a little in fright that she might be disturbing someone. She looked at the source of the noise, and a man walking towards her like a prince.
Walking elegantly is a man with dark eyes that almost look like black, a very pointed nose, jawline that looks strong and his rosy lips that look so smooth.
No, this man looked like a devil in disguise.
Tang Su bow her head when the man stop in front of her.
"You are?" Zhang Han sounded so cold, so he coughed a little and talk to her again.
"I mean this a close wedding, how did you get in here?" looking around he realized that no ones around even his body guards.
Tang Su also looked around then look at him.
"I'm sorry I didn't know. I just walked in without noticing, but there is no one around." She wondered what's happening, what if she's in trouble.
"Yeah, my bride left me at the altar being pregnant with my cousin's child." He didn't know why he told this stranger what happen to him
"Now I'm all alone, I'll ask someone later to clear this up. By the way, again who are you?" This is not him! Zhang Han scold his self. What is happening to him, his a man with a few words but now his talking too much.
Tang Su remember what she had witnessed last night, and her eyes become glossy.
Zhang Han seen this change of emotions and suddenly take his handkerchief and put it in her hand.
Startled by his touch Tang Su takes a step backwards afraid of what he might do.
"I'm sorry it's just that we're both in a same situation of betrayal. Yours being dumped at the altar, and me ending my relationship with my boyfriend because of his cheating." Tang Su said and wipe her tears away.
She straightened her back and look directly into his eyes.
Zhang Han heard what she said and looked at her feeling sorry. But what he didn't expect is when she looked at him directly into his eyes, he felt that she's looking directly into his souls.
They're in daze with each other.
They both felt something like some unknown string or force pulling them to each other, while looking into each other that they didn't notice the priest assistant looking at them.
"I thought the wedding has been canceled, but here they are looking into each other with so much passion like they couldn't wait for their wedding night. This people are really." The priest assistant talk to his self when Suddenly, he bumps to the chair.
The noise awaken them out of their gaze and look at the man in the corner holding his side while cursing.
"Stop looking at me! Aish!... get married already you both are wasting so much time. Wait there I'll call the priest." With that the assistant walk away.
Tang Su reacted first, but too late the assistant's gone.
"He's not talking about us getting married right? I didn't even know you nor you didn't even know me."
Tang Su pull her hair in frustration what did she get herself into.
Zhang Han reached her hand and stopped it from pulling her hair.
He arranged her messy hair with his bare hand like a comb and when he's done he felt satisfied of what he had done.
She looks more beautiful with her hair not all over the place.
"Come, you didn't want to waste more time right?" he smirked at her as if daring to marry him.
With that Zhang Han drag this unknown woman into the altar. He want her, and he didn't plan on letting her go whether by force or not.
Tang Su being drag at the altar didn't think much of what will happen to her. She just goes with the flow.
His touch felt gentle in her hand, maybe this is what God has planned for her, after betrayal maybe this man will hold her gently forever.
Standing in front of them is a different priest from earlier. He looked at them then smile when he noticed that these two complement each other.
The priest started the ceremony without further ado.
With the help of the assistant preparing the form to be signed by the couple and all, the wedding ceremony come to its end.
"You may now exchange the ring."
When Tang Su heard this she didn't know what to do she thought that he let this man dragged her into this wedding, and now she didn't have a ring. But when the assistant stand in front of them Tang Su look down at what he is holding up.
It's a pink diamond wedding ring with a gold band. This ring is her wedding ring she couldn't believe it.
Zhang Han took the ring and held her hand.
"I, Zhang Han promise to take this woman as my wife to cherish, to love her unconditionally, take care of her not to let anyone hurt her and understand her and hold forever 'till death." Then slip the ring in Tang Su's left ring finger.
'Thank God the ring fit perfectly even if it were not meant for her, maybe this ring really belong to her', Zhang Han thought while he slips the ring.
Tang Su look at the ring shyly and amazed. It fit her finger perfectly. With a sharp intake Tang Su takes the other ring.
'Zhang Han, his name sounds familiar. Maybe I'll ask him later about his name. This is it! There is no turning back.' With a final thought Tang Su began her vow.
"I, Tang Su promise to take this man as my husband. To love him unconditionally, cherish him and respect him. To hold him forever until death do us part." She then slips the matching ring on his finger.
His hand felt cold, but gentle at the same time. This feeling warmed her heart.
"I now announce you Husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride" the priest announce and let the new married couple have their time.
"I'll let my assistant send those sign marriage certificate to your lawyer for its process. Then you can both have your marriage license.". With that he walk away together with the assistant.
To not to startle her Zhang Han make a chase kiss on her lips. Thank Goodness he only makes it fast or God knows what. Her lips felt like a feather to him so addicting, and he wanted to devour her so is to Tang Su, even it's a chase kiss it felt wonderful.
Looking into each other, Zhang Han needed to break off their gazing.
With a cough he held her hand, and slowly walk out of the chapel.
Standing in front of a chapel is a man looking elegantly, handsome and yet cold beside him is a woman standing shyly with her head bow, dress a little crumpled, yet she looks very beautiful.
They walk into his car and drive into his place, now their place.
'Tang Su huh? You're my wife now and you will be mine forever. To those who betrayed me, revenge awaits you.' Zhang Han thought coldly while driving.
'What have I done! Why did I let this handsome man drag me into this marriage. I am now married, how am I going to explain this to my family and friend. Maybe I can still runaway'. With her thought Tang Su whose now Mrs. Zhang fell asleep, with so much that has happen she felt this is all a dream.
