Chapter 2: Death! An Opportunity !
"Ugh.. where am I ?" was the first thing Bruce said aloud after waking up in an empty black plane of nothingness. Frightened and confused at what was happening he sat down to calm his nerves and recalled all the events that took place from his birthday party to the mysterious thunderstorm and the accident on his way home.
He remembered getting out of his wrecked car injured but still very much alive and his attempt to help the other person before suddenly he was found himself in this black plane of nothingness.
Understanding that he may be his dead and this Black nothingness his Limbo, he sat down and meditated about his life, his sucess, his failure, his dreams and his regret especially about not having that someone special he could connect to have a family. while Bruce meditated he was waiting for God for passing his judgement on his soul.
Suddenly while he was immersed in his memories he found himself feeling warm and woke up to find himself in a different plane of existence as compared to the black nothingness. Here Bruce could see all the beauty of nature undisturbed by mankind. He was so in trance about this beautiful scenery that he forgot to see a certain older man with a silver hair and beard, wearing a white toga and build up body that could put some young models to shame.
"Hello son!" came out a warm yet in an authoritative tone that pulled the trance Bruce was in and found himself staring at old man who smiled at him warmly.
"Excuse me Elder, Are you God ? Have you come to judge me ?" was the first thing Bruce said and waited for the reply while thinking on how this was the first time someone had sincerely and warmly called him son and the joy he felt.
God hearing his questions and thoughts felt to first apologize to Bruce because of his mistakes especially after reading Bruce life. "Yes Son, I am God! and before we begin this conversation I would like to apologise to you because of a mistake I made"
Startled because of hearing God himself apologise, Bruce was confused. Seeing Bruce confused, God replied, "Son, you were supposed to live after the accident. Coincidentally meeting your future wife as a nurse in the hospital. And your supposed to live a longer life and achieving all your dreams and being grandfather to his two sons and finally leading a life at 87 years of age and finally passing on your life."
"But because of an error I made during your accident, I summoned your soul accidentally. So please forgive me for taking your life and your future!"
Hearing the apology and the reason for his Death Bruce was speechless and sad. But before he could reply, God's response blew his Otaku mind away with the offer that could change his existence forever.
"Son as an apology for taking your soul accidentally, I your creator grant you 3 wishes to live in any world you desire. So that you will have a second chance to live a life on your terms and fulfill your dreams for a family"
Stunned and overjoyed Bruce thanked God and forgived him. Thinking about his 3 wishes carefully and knowing he couldn't be greedy by asking God for very Op God-like abilities he replied....
