Chapter 1: The Great War- Hope is the candle light to the darkness...
This was the deadliest and shortest war ever seen in humanity's history.
It lasted maximum 19 days but it was so bloody that one fifth of the world's population failed to survive.
The 9.8 billion souls, were mainly from the third world's population which was the bigger but also the weaker side of the war.
The remaining population was approximately 42 billion people it was still over populated but nothing could be done.
The casualties might seem exaggerated to the reader so let me explain a bit more about how this unbelievable number became the cruel reality.
In the year 2273 many cntries were worrying about overpopulation, colonizing Mars was still too far on the future so it was a huge problem.
The water was scarce and the deforestation had lead to tremendous environmental problems and even though every person was somehow content with his life the governments were afraid that over population would make their world unlivable.
So they began a world wide conspiracy to eliminate every individual that thought he was "unhappy", meaning people that had depression.
That was a very broad term and most of the population had some form of depression and was unhappy with their lives. However they only targeted those that had chronic depression or for some reason they were displeased with their lives in general and they were aged above 21.
As we all know depression ruled after 21st century and had become pretty obvious that humanity would be on the brick of extinction if this sickness continued.
Many scientists secretly thought "why do we have to let unhappy people live they are wasting our resources". This inhuman view became the core idea behind the conspiracy.
So the governments in those fifty years before the Great War marked depressed individuals with a microchip inside their brains. The mark was concealed as a simple check up routine after all it was currently the trend "Merge with technology" so many people rushed to get this so well advertised microchip that would alleviated them from depression.
What is more, children in the ages of 6-12 during those 50 years were gathered and became the so called gene soldiers. They were three categories of soldiers. Firstly the so called meat soldiers were their bodies were enhanced through the use of nanotechnology and are mainly front line soldiers. Secondly the tacticians , they had their mind enhanced in order to use smart weapons using only their thoughts. This needed extreme control and discipline.
Finally their was the last special category called spies. These gene soldiers had a survival rate of only 6% and were the deadliest and as their name implies acted as the country's spies.
All the enhancements were done with the use of nanotechnology altering essentially the DNA of the individual.
Our heroine is the child of two special category's parents and she is pretty unique as the story progresses I am sure you will find out.
Back at the Great War which began in 2323 and lasted 19 days as we previously said.
There was a smart weapon called Black Death. Black Death was a weapon that was ruled by a simple principle it implemented the thought to the individual of suicide. Those who had the chip immediately acted on the impulse that seemed to overrule them and died. Black Death was used experimentally during the 50 years but the number was to a few thousand maximum. During the war it was used extensively and it was the main reason so many people died.
The official war was between the first and the third world, the countries involved were both devastated since both sides had almost equal power many major cities were destroyed from both worlds.
However after the tenth day the power shifted due to Black Death towards the first world. Many people as to follow the trend mentioned above "Merge with technology" had implemented the deadly chip and were an easy target to Black Death. Black Death has a special feature that allows you to transmit the suicidal thought to a whole city leading to compete and utter chaos. Whoever had the chip failed to survive.
There was a causation to this war it was called the Black Post. This post was written by a famous psychologist describing the world and the emotions of every human. He did such a great job that in a few months time his post was top on web search engines and the whole world's population knew about it. The main idea of Black Post is that 'Evil can be pure too'. This opened many people's eyes as it was claiming that evilness was a part of human nature it should not be suppressed people should act on their desire or else the consequence was chronic depression. People started acting lawless because of this post many became more cruel claiming that it was their true nature. The unforseen chaos made the governments exploit the situation and an all out war started.
The world was getting crazier, they were in a frenzy after the death of so many people they started realizing what has happened. News about the Black Death leaked and everyone was stunned they started yelling "Peace Peace".
The social media of that time had gone on fire the Black Post was buried and people started crying for peace trying to be heard appeared all around the world.
Peace Peace the whole world asked for peace suddenly as if the people's voice were heard the White Post appeared. Apparently it was written by an unknown dancer. He wrote so beautifully that made people's heart melt and in only three days the whole 42 billion remaining population pushed it to the top of every social media. The idea behind it was that "Hope is the candle light to the darkness" it praised the opposites of Black Post it was full of optimism and hope. This is how the Great War ended and a new era began with an ideal society which was ruled by games the so called Events.

This will happen to all my chapters eventually... But because I have limited time to write and I wanna tell this story very much I will continue uploading main ideas for my story..
