The mysterious girl
After being avoided by five people Luna started feel invisible and irritated but she was not giving up yet , she went to the floor below her to see if anyone there whould be willing to help her lift the bookshelf. On her way down the stairs she saw a tall, pale man with gray hair walking up the stairs, she waved at him and said Hi sire but nothing again . What was going on she thought can they even see me ? She decided to go back to her appartment and try to lift up the bookshelf by herself she was done being avoided. When she got back to her appartment the bookshelf was back against the wall and all the books was already on their shelves in the exact place it was before they fell out except one book that was left on the ground, The book of mirrors the book she was trying to reach last night . The whole day didn't make sense to Luna , she was trying to wrap her head around everything that happened, did someone listen and help or what ? That night she made her moms famous lasagna, she missed the tast of her moms home cooked meals , when she sat down to eat it there was a strange knock on the door but she didn't feel like answering so she just continued eating and there wasn't a knock again so it was probably not important she thought. After eating the lasagna she made she went over to the bookshelf to place The book of mirror back on the shelf when there was another knock on the door same as before.
When she opened the door she was surprised to see no person staring back at her , nothing. She looked out into the hallway to see if it was maybe teens playing a prank on her but there was only the old man she saw going up the stair and a young woman with pitch black hair she has never seen before. Just as she was going back into her apartment she saw a note on the floor with her name on it . She picked up the white envelope and entered her apartment just to find the book back on the floor . Without worrying about the book she started opening the envelope out of curiosity what was in it , who left it ? Inside the envelope was one peace of paper that read { except it this is how it's gonna be from now on } being more confused than ever she picked up the book her mom brought her and started reading it . That night Luna couldn't sleep the day played in her mind on repeat with no answer but the biggest question was the note, that one peace of paper that knew so much . Is this what my lifes like now , am I invisible or are people afraid of me she thought hoping the answer or a peace of information will just appear .
The next morning Luna woke before sunrise and decided to go for a run , she came to the conclusion she was paranoid because of being in that apartment all day long. She packed herself a little picnic bag with coffee ,cookies , two bottles of water , ham and cheese sandwiches and her favorite chilli ships , she decided to run to the lake and watch the sunrise at the water and she will only run back home at sunset ,a whole day of natuur is good for the soul she said . On her way out she grabbed the book and left. The run to the lake took longer then she taught and so Luna missed watching the sunrise by the lake but that was not gonna get her down today. At around noon Luna noticed the girl with the pitch black hair sitting not to far from her all by herself , Luna decided to go over and introduce herself and welcome her to the building. Luna introduced herself with a warm and welcoming smile and for the first time in long someone saw and spoke to her ,that made her so happy she forgot about the mysterious note, the girl introduced herself as Lilly Oliver ,a beautiful young girl with clear blue eyes from Oklahoma. For the rest of the day the two girls got to know each other and found they had a lot in common they both dropped out of college and they both like writing except Lilly writes teen fiction. Luna and Lilly walked home together after a long day of getting to know each other, they went to Lilly's apartment first because she was one floor below Luna . Luna was surprised to find that it's apartment 10 C , that apartment is know to have been empty after a unfortunate event three years ago , as Lilly entered the door Luna remember to welcome her to the building only to find that Lilly has been living there for three years .
