Chapter 4: Cooking
Five days have past since then, I already done my novel and ready to submit it. I don't know how many characters in here but i think its almost 20,000 words at all. This is the first volume may i say since i don't know if i want to continue this novel, since the system only said make a novel and publish it.
And right now i'm in front of my computer finishing the submitting of the novel. I've joined a competition for novels its 'Dengeki Taishō' of ASCII Media Works since i don't know whether they accept it, if i go in their publishing company and it's embarrassing if it fails. and this is the only way for me to publish it. I try to research but this is the company i got hold.
Also, this only the company that hold this event this time. While the others are ended some are just starting which is not on my time since i have only 1 day to submit it to complete the mission.
I continue to fill up the form, the name of the book which is 'Why imouto's are the Best' as i thought before, the file and more.
Right, 'Yuuto' was the pen name that i wrote in the form. Since my name is like that only the last part change. and it's kinda awkward if my little sister knew it, especially that my topic is around little sister. As i push the button completing the form to enter the competition.
'ting'
Done. The submission was done, i sigh in relief. Shutting down the computer, I go to bed and relax my muscles to eased my tension.
'Ding'
A white screen floated in front of my face.

Ahhh, i did it. It's finally done. As i gazed the word completed, which makes me happy. and finally i can received my rewards.
'System how i can receive the rewards?'
'Ding!'
'Ding! You received Saiba Jōichirō's culinary skills'
What, you mean that. That Saiba Jōichirō in shokugeki no soma? as i ask the system but it did not respond a little bit.
'sigh'
But how do i get my rewards? i asked myself.
Then a massive headache come before me. Knowledge about knife, using spices and etc. As i kept twitching in bed while grabbing my head as many information kept going and going engraving in my mind. One hour passed i still feel groggy as the pain continue to lessen and lessen. I feel new as i refresh my mind to the new knowledge i gained. This is different i mean i feel like i can make food delicious and even add new things to the food that i eat.
Then i looked up to clocked to see that it's already dinner time. I try to get up on bed, which i feel my world is spinning. So i waited for five minutes, then got up to go downstairs.
As i go down, i encountered saya.
"onii-chan!"
As saya run on me and snuggle on me. Mumbling 'Eheheheh'
"onii-chan, Let's go. Saya thought going to your room to call you to eat since onii-chan was busy and not able to eat with saya these days"
"So saya thought to call you and make food for onii-chan, Ehehehehe."
"Sorry, Saya. Onii-chan was busy, but onii-chan is already done his work."
"Really, Onii-chan?"
"Really."
"Hmmm. Okay onii-chan!"
"Fine, i'm going to cook my cute saya"
"What, onii-chan can cook? I thought only saya can cook onii-chan"
"Fine, so saya did not believe in onii-chan?" as i said to her in slightly raised voice.
As i go down faster,facing my back at saya as i go down with a teasing smile float in my face.
"Wait, onii-chan! saya did not mean that! it just that- onii-chan!"
I go to kitchen, checking the refrigerator only to found some vegetable, meat and some eggs. I checked the cabinet to find some flour. Since i know now i want to cook as i start. Not minding saya in my back mumbling something which sweats my back.
Getting some meat, slicing it into some small pieces and boiling it for the broth. While i slice also the vegetable to added in boiling pot to make it savory and some spices there. As for the noodles i get the flour to make dough, massaging the dough in right density i cut it in little treads. Boiling it and draining it with the colander. As for the toppings i boiled some eggs, find some sesame oils and grill some of the meats that i boiled. While the sweet and mild aroma sweep through the kitchen.
As a cute gulping sound can be heard behind my back. Soon i arrange the food getting out the kitchen followed by saya. Placing it on top of table as i sit. and gaze at saya who's drooling while gazing at the ramen. Yep, ramen. I made ramen since this is the only food i can think of.
"So, saya do you believe onii-chan can cook now?" as i said to her with a teasing voice.
"Uhmmm, saya believes onii-chan"
"What saya? i can't hear you"
"Saya believes onii-chan now." as she said with a red face.
"Uhhhmm, so can we eat now onii-chan?"
"Hmm"
""Itadakimasu""
As saya start eating. I started too. Getting the chopstick i try the noodles.
'slurp'
Wow. That's the only thing i can say. As i gazed at surrounding which full of fluffy noodles, which makes me moan in pleasure.
'uhhhhh'
[Saya's PoV]
Ah, right im Saya. I'm onii-chan's lovely little sister. and right now i'm going to onii-chan's room to call him to eat with me. I mean onii-chan this days is always busy. He always eat with me but right now he's doing something. I don't know what is it since onii-chan don't let me know.
As i got out of my room, i ran across with onii-chan!
"onii-chan!"
As i run to onii-chan and snuggle on him. 'Ehehehehe Onii-chan's smell'
"onii-chan, Let's go. Saya thought going to your room to call you to eat since onii-chan was busy and not able to eat with saya these days" as i said to onii-chan.
"So saya thought to call you and make food for onii-chan, Ehehehehe."
"Sorry, Saya. Onii-chan was busy, but onii-chan is already done his work."
Yey, Onii-chan said that he's done with his work. So this mean we be always together again. 'Ehehehehe'
"Really, Onii-chan?"
"Really."
"Hmmm. Okay onii-chan!"
"Fine, i'm going to cook my cute saya"
Onii-chan's going to cook for saya 'Ehehehehe' , but i thought saya is the only one can cook.
"What, onii-chan can cook? I thought only saya can cook onii-chan"
"Fine, so saya did not believe in onii-chan?"
No no no no! Saya believe in onii-chan. As i-
"Wait, onii-chan! saya did not mean that! it just that- onii-chan!"
I ran after onii-chan who entered the kitchen.
Soon i entered the kitchen i tried to call onii-chan but did not respond to me. Wahhhh, Onii-chan is angry at me. Saya you baka. But soon i feel amaze. Onii-chan is amazing. The knife in his hand is like dancing i can't even see onii-chan's silhouette while cutting. After a while a sweet and mild aroma came to me.
'Onii-chan so amazing'
'Ehehehehe'
As onii-chan done, we go to dining room and onii-chan place the food in front of me, as i sat down. As i gazed at the ramen in front of me while drooling.
"So, saya do you believe onii-chan can cook now?"
"Uhmmm, saya believes onii-chan"as i said in low voice as i wiped the drool in my face.
Ueeeeii, this is embarrassing i drool on onii-chan's food. and I know, since i always believe onii-chan. Ehehehehe.
"What saya? i can't hear you"
"Saya believes onii-chan."
UUUuuuuuu, Onii-chan is meany.
"Uhhhmm, so can we eat now onii-chan?" while having a red face.
"Hmm"
""Itadakimasu"" as we both said together.
Soon after i pick the chopstick i began to eat. That sweet aroma and mild scent entered my mouth. Delicious. Then a paradise of noodles came before me. As they swirl around me- and as for the next sentence its gonna be on your imagination.
