She also had nowhere else to go or a place to call home. Xiong Jingfei couldn't return to her old apartment, her father's home, or back to Yang Zheyan's place. She rather live out on the street than return to him. 

So the only place that would shelter her was Wu Yuan's house. Again, it was just like he said, she will stay willingly with him.
