Unknown warm feeling filled his Heart
The weather was getting cold as night sweeping in. Long Tian and Mo Jian were hungry, both were looking at the Fishes which was grilling in the camp fire with the mouth full of Saliva.
Next to the Campfire, there was small mound of Mud. One can see the mud mound was also getting heated from the camp fire. The mud mound was closed on the top with stone. They are located themselves in the valley next to a natural lake at the top of the mountain. The night view was breathtakingly beautiful.
Since Zi Zexian and Mo Liuxian came early, they had casted nets in the lake to catch the fish. They got lucky by catching a quiet a good ones.
All of them sat around the camp fire and was having fun. the Foodie Mo Jian couldn't resist any further
"QuanQuan, if you don't let me eat something now, I might eat the food raw."
The laughter burst out, Long Tian slowly distanced himself from Mo Jian.
"Liuxian, why don't you guys feed people in your house properly. look now we have to face the consequences."
Another round of laughter erupted, Mo Jian gritted her teeth in anger.
Mo Liuxian patted his sister affectionately,
"Ignore him Xiao Jian, He is a petty thing!"
Mo Jian arms embraced her brother in turn. She told herself "My brother is the best"
Zi Zexian subconsciously turned towards Li Quan. He knows Li Quan is not his own sister, but he always feel protective feeling of a brother around her.
Li Quan felt a tinge of sadness sweeping in her heart, since the trip started Zi Zexian hasn't spoken more than necessary.
Whatever it's, she doesn't have spoken to Madam Zi like that other day. The grudges were between the families, however her brother Zi Zexian always treated very special. She felt guilty about being selfish.
Liu Huang came closer and said
"QuanQuan, you little fool! Anyone can read your face Like a diary. Go talk to your brother when he is alone. But remember this, His Mother and his Elder brother are his bottom line."
Li Quan just nodded her head in understanding. Tears swelled up in her eyes. she doesn't have a mother not brother like Zi Peng. Zi Zexian is still his cousin, not her own brother.
Mo Jian couldn't take it anymore, She screamed in hunger
"QuanQuan, if you don't feed me now, I will eat this fish RAW. "
She was seriously screaming now, but everyone was rolling down and laughing.
Even Li Quan, who was lost in sadness, started laughing. Mo Jian was extremely cute in anger. Mo Liuxian picked her nose and asked her to calm down.
He changed the sides of the fish in the fire to check whether it's cooked or not.
Fish is one thing which gets cooked faster, Li Quan went closer and checked it along with Mo Liuxian.
She had made a bowl using the leaves and sticks.
Li Quan took out the few small packs from her bag, emptied it's contents on the bowls.
She added the fire cooked fish and added the water from the kettle hanging.
She gave everyone a bowl and took herself one to settle down next to Liu Huang.
The bowl of food looked so delicious to look at. The aroma from the food was fillings nostrils of everyone. With the accumulated fatigue, everyone gulped down the soup in one go.
Li Quan was extremely pleased. Cooking is her passion, it comes naturally for her. She keeps inventing new recipes often.
"So, how do you like the soup, is it good?" Li Quan knows the answer from the look on their faces, yet she wants to hear from them. Who doesn't like to be praised.
Mo Jian was the first to speak
"QuanQuan, It's good that you left entertainment industry, please become a chef. The Food world needs you."
Everyone had a great round of laughter. Li Quan took out the rest of the Fishes and arranged them on the bowl. She took the stone lid from the miss mound. She broke the outer layer of the mud mound carefully.
All the eyes were fixed on what she is doing. To their surprise, inside the mud mound, there was a another mound made up of stones, it was tightly packed.
Li Quan slowly removed the outer layer using the stick since, the stones were very hot from the fire.
It has three layers, one was below the ground has burning coal, She took from huge wrapped in leaves from the other two layers.
Long Tian couldn't keep quiet from the techniques she used in the coming using the available resources. It was like she made an oven in the middle of the forest.
"Li Quan, Who are you Actually?"
Zi Zexian smacked at back of his head.
"Li Quan, I guess brother Tian is stomach full. you don't need to give him any further."
Long Tian felt very wronged and kept quiet. All the girls giggled at foodie Long Tian.
inside the leaf wrap, Li Quan had carefully cooked Fish cakes, baked Potatoes and loaf of bread.
She served everyone equally along with fresh fire grilled fish. She handed everyone a small packet. Mo Liuxian looked at it with the puzzled look.
Li Quan understood his look and said
"Brother Mo, this is a special seasoning made by me. this doesn't need to be cooked. Just add a little, it will enhance the flavor for you. Can I add it and show you."
Mo Liuxian nodded his head in agreement. Long Tian eyes were focused on what she is going to do.
Li Quan opened the packet, Took the seasoning and carelessly swayed it over the hot food. Then she took the disposable chopsticks to pick the food the bowl and placed infront of Mo Liuxian's Perfect Pink lips.
Mo Liuxian accepted the food and closed his eyes to savour the sumptuous good inside his mouth.
Everyone around was surprised by the scene unfolding around then. Even Mo Jian was surprised, but didn't say anything. Then everyone got busy with their food.
They started chat about the different stuffs. Zi Zexian made plans with Mo Liuxian about the next day and taking care of everyone in the night.
Mo Liuxian got everyone's attention and said
" After the food, everyone rest well in the tents. We shall head down after the sunrise. Me and Zexian will take turn to guard the tents."
Li Quan was worried about the sleep of both the guys.
"How about I help you guys out? Maybe you guys can have some extra sleep ?"
Zi Zexian stepped in before Mo Liuxian and said
"There is no need, just stay inside and don't give us any trouble." Mo Liuxian felt Zi Zexian was harsh in the way to respond like that. To make it ease, He looked at Li Quan
" Li Quan, can you give some of fish cakes if there is any leftovers of fish cakes."
Li Quan mood taken sudden changes of one eighty degrees. She happily served him the fish cakes.
Suddenly there was one bowl blocking her. It was Long Tian mouth was watering even after consuming so much food
" Li Quan, don't serve your Brother Mo, serve us as well. Not just Fish, give anyremaining stuff as well."
Zi Zexian teased him
" Brother Long, you will become fat, who will may you then."
Long Tian didn't respond, he ignored him and started savoring his food on the bowl.
Long Tian way curious since he is the guy who believes every single detail had a meaning.
"Little Quan, how did you manage to get potatoes and flour to bake bread."
Li Quan smiled at his question
" Brother Zi and Brother Mo helped me carry those up in the mountains."
Long Tian looked those men in jealousy since he had a hard time carrying himself up. Forgot about carrying potatoes and flour.
Mo Liuxian said with no expression on his face
" Li Quan, don't worry in future, Your brother Long will help you carry everything."
Long Tian didn't even blink of an eye, He said
" More trips in future, No way I'm doing it. please don't drag me into this. This time itself my survival was not in my hands." Everyone laughed at his comment. But Mo Jian felt a tinge of sadness hearing him.
Zi Zexian looked at beautiful Liu Huang Sitting elegantly next to Li Quan. She noticed his gaze and looked back at him.
Zi Zexian hoped their relationship get better as the days go further. Liu Huang was making a mental note of keeping a distance from Zi Zexian.
The happiest person was Mo Liuxian. Some Unknown warm feeling filled his Heart, he couldn't exactly pin point exactly what it is. He decided not to overthink just enjoy the moment as it is.
