When Kan was captured inside the prison cells, soon Superintendent Wallace arrived with a police baton he's holding in his hands.
Behind him followed many more men that worked for him.
"Open up," he saids to his men.
Kan who woke from his thoughts looked cautiously at the foreigner that was coming inside the cell.
"You'd better remember that this is what happens to people who mess with me," Wallace saids taking hold of the black baton in his hand.
Using the baton, Superintendent hits Kan in the stomach area. Making him cough in pain.
Then hitting him a few more times in torturous strikes at the captive.
The strength was deeply paining for Kan.
"Hold his hands!"
The guards proceed to pin Kan's arms down with their hands.
"No!!" Kan shouts while being pinned down.
With a furious expression Wallace eyeballs Kan's hand, striking at it with his baton.
"Hold him tight!"
Creating strong force as he hits down again, while Kan is screaming in pain.
"Sir…" Fatso, who was passing by, calls out to stop Wallace. "It's not wise to beat him like that. He will write a scathing report on you. We need to get rid of him. I know what to do. Let me handle it."
Stretching his hand out to take the baton from Wallace.
"Fatso! You take care of him!" Wallace tells him, while placing the baton in his care.
"Okay."
When the guards and Wallace leave the prison where Kan is at he sees Kan on the ground holding his injured arm.
He once more went out of the door to check that Wallace and his men are out.
He throws the baton on the concrete prison seatings as Kan screams again in fear and walks away without glancing back.
To clear up the reputation of the police force and the Champion Twister Miller, Superintendent Wallace scheduled a press conference.
In the press conference room the reporters were taking pictures with their camera while Wallace and three others were sitting at a table in front.
"There had been a lot of rumors in Hong Kong recently. This is due to a boxing competition that had been arranged," Wallace saids.
He proceeds to explain that Hung over-estimated himself as a fighter and lost in a fight which Twister 'reluctantly' accepted.
Moreover the fight that Master Hung had was so weak that he couldn't stand up to Tister's fists.
Furthermore, the fact that it was a regrettable accident that he couldn't stand up to a few punches.
"To quell this riot and give Twister justice, I have decided to organize a Chinese-wester boxing competition," Twister's manager explains. "Twister will fight the Chinese people in a fair manner on the stage."
Twister, who was wearing a black suit with a blue bow tie saids in declaration to the reporters, "In order to protect my name and reputation, I've agreed to fight any Chinese person.
Snapping his finger to the person sitting on his left. The man takes out a bronze incense cup holder from below.
"Now from what I hear, the Chinese like to use this!" Twister brings out a very long incense stick, "And I would like to stick to that tradition."
Sticking that incense stick on to the incense holder as a comedic joke he continues, "So I've agreed to fight any challenger for as long as this thing burns!
And this is a pretty big joss stick, so it's gonna give plenty of opportunity for any challenger to come forward."
Twister finishes and becomes more serious as he takes his watchful eyes on the audience members, "But be warned! I would not hold back!
By the time this thing has burnt to the end, there will be no more Chinese boxers, because I'd have killed them all!
In fact I don't even think that we're gonna use this thing because I doubt there is any Chinese fella that has the guts to get in the ring with me!"
He was sounding with condescension as the reporters began to point fingers in chatter at Twister's declaration.
"Chinese burn incense not only to tell the time!" Ip Man's voice resounds through the room breaking the chatters of the reporters.
The reporters turned around to see Ip Man walking through the crowd and Tony standing by his side.
"Besides telling the time," Ip Man continues speaking, "what's important about the Chinese tradition of incense burning is that it represents our modesty which is inherent to the Chinese culture."
Now Tony walks up to where Twister is standing and saids in English, "I'm challenging you to a fight!"
Twister Miller stands up saying, "You're making a big mistake!"
When Tony and Ip Man left the hospital yesterday they went back to the rooftop where Ip Man's teaching martial arts.
"Leung, you lead the younger ones to train," Ip Man tells him, "I have something to discuss with Senior Hui."
The two walk in silence to the building inside, Tony closes the door discreetly.
"Hui, the doctors said Master Hung would never be able to fight again," Ip Man said in a downcast shaking his head.
"The trauma to his brain was too much. This is already the best possibility for Master Hung. He could've died," Tony added looking out into the sky.
To a martial artist, the abilities of his limbs are everything. Just as important as his own livelihood.
For the chance to defeat Twister Miller and regain the reputation of martial arts, Master Hung sacrificed a huge loss.
"Hui. Can you take care of Zhun and Wing Sing," Ip Man saids, "I'm going to challenge Twister to a fight."
Hearing this Tony turns around and he sees that Ip Man was still looking down on the floor in thought about this decision.
"No. I'll fight," Tony spoke up.
