Chapter 24: Pendant of Love
After all the fuss, they arrange themselves in an orderly manner. Kai sits next to Cheng and Yue sits next to Chunxi. They face each other.
"Why the hell is it you??" Xi frowns "I'm the one who is supposed to say that!!" Cheng replies back. "If I knew it was you, I'd have never visited!!" Xi says with disappointment. "Same here!! I'm leaving" Cheng stands up and starts walking away from the room. Yue signals Kai to stop him. Kai runs after him. "Cheng.... Cheng..." Kai runs very fast to catch him. His breathing was so fast. Cheng stops in the midway which made Kai bumps onto him.
"How can you leave like that??" Kai shouts at him. "I don't like her!!" Cheng yells.
(In the room)
"Why you don't like him? He's such a good guy!!" Yue tries to explain to Xi. "Ha! Really? You marry him then!! I don't care!" "Sis... Tell me the reason for you to hate him!!" Yue begs her.
"Okay! You asked for it!" Xi replies.
(Flashback)
(5 hours ago in the mall)
"I can't believe someone will even buy a dress for their blind date!!" Xi's friend Jun replies. "I know right!! My parents want me to look beautiful in front of a stranger! That's so stupid." Xi frowns. Jun bangs on Xi's arms as she was searching for a dress. "What's wrong?" "Look at the guy right there know!!" Jun points at Cheng whose searching for dress as well. "He looks like an idol isn't he??" Jun drools over him.
"Cheng... Look at those girls know!!" Cheng's friend Ri says to him. "Look at the one girl who is not even blinking looking at you! Her eyes are freezed" Ri chuckles. "Should we tease them a bit?" Cheng asks Ri. "Not here! I bet they will follow us wherever we go so...." Ri whispers something in Cheng's ears. "Good! Let's go!" They both started walking and eventually leaves the shop. "Let's go!!!" Jun pulls Xi's arms and leaves too.
"What are you doing Jun??" "Gonna follow them" Jun replies enthusiastically. "Why?" Xi asks. "Because they are hot!!" "I don't think so!" Chunxi smirks. "Tell me the real reason for you to follow them!!" Xi asks. "I have seen that guy somewhere!!" Jun replies. "Which one? Tall or short?" Xi asks. "Short one!! (Ri)"
(Cheng is taller than Ri and Kai)
"Okay! He's cute in fact! Never mind, I'll wait in the park. Find me there!" Xi says and leaves to the park near the mall. She finds a good spot and sits in the bench. "Earphones...~" She mumbles and takes her earphones and phone out and plays some music. Xi dozes off like that.
Boy 1: Aye! Look at that pretty girl
Boy 2: let's do something man.
Boy 1: should we?? (Thinks)
Boy 2: come on...
They both go near Xi and starts sexually harassing her. "Where did Ri go??" Cheng searches for Ri in the same park. He moves his head from left to right and sees Xi being harassed by two men. She was soo asleep that she didn't notice what's going on. Cheng runs towards the men and starts beating them, he kicks them in their ball. The both mens started feeling powerless and gives up eventually. "Don't ever come back here again!!" Cheng yells at them. They both runs away without turning back.
Cheng kneels down in for of Xi to check whether she has got any hurt or injury. He moves his face closer to Xi to check. "Looks like she hasn't got any injury!!" Cheng breathes in relief. Xi finally started moving her body as she wakes up from her sleep. She opens her eyes and sees Cheng's face "Who are you??" She gets startled and gets up from the bench. "Were you....harassing me??" Xi shouts and suddenly she feels a neck pain. She almost faints but Cheng catches her before she could fall. With anger Xi gets up from his arms and slaps him. "Don't dare to touch me!!!" Xi yells and leaves.
"As if I'd love to!" Cheng smirks. "What??" Xi goes near him and raise her hand again but Cheng gets hold of it. "I don't ever want to see you again! Ever!!!" Cheng says as he leaves her fist and starts walking out of the park. "This guy...!!" Xi mumbles in the middle of nowhere.
(Flashback ends)
"So.. He harassed you in the park??" Yue asks. Xi nods with disbelief. "That's funny!!" Yue starts laughing very badly. "What do you mean by funny??" "How can someone even harass a girl in front of everyone in the park!!? He's well educated...!!" Yue quotes. "So... What should I do now??" Xi frowns.
(Kai and Cheng in the balcony)
"Tell her what happened! That's it." Kai advices to Cheng. "Misunderstanding is the biggest enemy of mankind!" Kai quotes. "Okay! Let's go back!" Cheng says and they go back to the room. Kai and Yue leaves the room to give them some space. "Hope they get together!" Yue Excitingly says. "I wish the same!" Kai gives a back hug to Yue as they watch the bright moon from outside the restaurant. "Let's stay like this!!" Kai gives a tight back hug. "Forever!" Yue replies.
(Gods from above)
"Aww!! Don't they look cute Mao?" Ato, a young girl deity ask Mao, a young boy deity. "Yea Ato! They do!" The deity adores Kai and Yue from above. "ATO!! MAO!!" The head God yells at them back. They both run to him. "Why didn't Qi and Ying didn't forget their past??" The head yells at them. "Head... That is... We accidentally left the pendant below. Qi should wear the pendant in Ying's neck until then they'll remember everything...." Mao replies in fear. "Head... There is one problem with it...!!" Ato continues. "Looks like our rivals have sent two evil deities below in human form to achieve the pendant and gain the 37 virtual powers... So..." "Both of you go below and find the necklace before the evils could attain it!!! It's my order!" The head orders Ato and Mao.
"I'll attain the pendant no matter what happens!!" Sou and Chunxi thinks.
