Shacklebolt stared at Art with a confused look. "How did you do that?"
Art smiled and pointed at the wall of stone, "When I smashed through it I created two clones and casted a Disillusionment Charm on myself, allowing me to sneak behind you while you dealt with the clones."
Shacklebolt had a look of understanding and shook his head with a smile. "I have never seen someone duel like that. Truly eye opening." he praised.
"Muggle brawling more like it." Fudge muttered.
Art looked at him and said, "I learned martial arts from my muggle father. It influenced my dueling style. I polished it with Professor Flitwick at Hogwarts. But yes, muggle brawling." he then gave a mocking smile at Fudge, "You shouldn't look down on muggles, they just might surprise you."
The pink toad lady cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Does Hogwarts teach Dueling to such young students Professor Dumbledore?"
Dumbledore wasn't flustered by the question and answered smoothly, "Mr. Cason is hardly an ordinary student, Professor Flitwick volunteered to give him extra lessons in Dueling while I taught him Wards."
"Seems a little… extreme for such a student." the pink toad said.
"He is more than capable." Amelia interjected, giving the toad a glare.
"Well your results should be in within the next few days Mr. Cason but from what I seen, you should have nothing to worry about." Griselda Marchbanks said, cutting into the awkward tension in the air.
"Thank you Madam Marchbanks. I look forward to it." Art said politely.
Art talked to Amelia for a bit and she wished him luck in America and told him to be safe. Art hugged her and told her not to worry.
Art was leaving the Ministry when he saw a group of goblins, he turned to Dumbledore and asked, "Professor, where can I talk to goblins about forging me a sword?"
Dumbledore's face turned serious and spoke sternly, "Goblins are clever and cunning creatures that believe that everything they creature belongs to them. I advise you to rethink."
"I understand professor but I still need a weapon and goblins are the best and I want the best." Art said forcefully.
Dumbledore's blue eyes seemed to shine as he looked at Art carefully. "Then we need to stop at Gringotts."
Artland smiled and nodded, excited at the possibility of owning a goblin made sword. Art and Dumbledore exited the Ministry, unaware that Fudge and the pink toad were watching them.
"That boy is dangerous Minister." the pink toad said in her sickly sweet voice.
Fudge nodded his head and let out a sigh before leaving.
Art and Dumbledore soon arrived at Gringotts where Dumbledore quietly spoke to an old looking goblin who nodded his head and invited Art and Dumbledore to a back room where another goblin was inspecting coins.
The goblin spoke in Goobledegook to the other one who looked up and saw Dumbledore and Art.
The older goblin introduced them, "This is Ragnuk the fifth, best metal worker."
"It's an honour Ragnuk." Art said in rough Goobledegook. The language sounded harsh and hurt Art's throat.
"No need for that, english is fine." Ragnuk said, his cunning eyes looking at Art. "What do you want?"
"A sword. The best you can create." Art said, getting to the point.
"My time is valuable, it will cost you." Ragnuk said roughly, playing with a Galleon in his hand.
"100,000 Galleons if it is up to my standards." Art said, not backing down.
Ragnuk scoffed and placed the Galleon down on the table. "My skills aren't cheap and that offer is insulting. You think, because I am a goblin, I can be swindled into taking a low offer."
"It's the opposite, sir. It is because you are a goblin I believe that you will try and make me pay through the nose." Art laughed and gave him a smile. "Why don't you tell me your price and we will go from there."
Ragnuk tapped the table, "500,000 and not a knut less."
Now it was Art's turn to scoff. "You are charging more than what Gryffindor paid for his sword. Are you saying that your skills are as great as Ragnuk the first?"
The two goblins were filled with rage at Art's words.
"Ragnuk the first had his creation stolen by-"
"No it wasn't." Art interjected, "Ragnuk loved his creation so much that he wanted for himself and said that Godric stole it."
The goblins didn't say anything and just glared at him.
"I am willing to pay 300,000 Galleons. That is the highest I can go." Art said sternly, tired of dealing with these goblins.
Ragnuk's eyes gleamed at the price but he quickly hid it as he played with another Galleon.
"What are the specifications of the sword?" Ragnuk finally said.
Art smiled told him his specifications, he also gave his vault number and a withdrawal form of 300,000 Galleons.
Dumbledore and Art left Gringotts, Art's mood was elated that he finally was getting a goblin made sword.
"Well Art, shall I take you home?" Dumbledore asked with a smile. He watched Art haggle with goblins and not ask for his help once.
"Yes let's go. I miss my parents." Art said with a smile.
Dumbledore grabbed his hand and they both Disapparated from the sidewalk.
They appeared in front of Tim and Bella's house.
"Remind me to place wards around the house when I turn 17." Art muttered, fairly upset that Dumbledore was able to appear in front of his house so easily.
Dumbledore walked up to the door and knocked. Soon Bella appeared in her apron, obviously cooking.
"Art? What are you doing here so early!?"
"Mom, this is Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts." Art introduced.
"Did you get suspended!?" she asked loudly, fear on her face. "Mr. Dumbledore I am sure that Artland did something against the rules but he is a good kind-"
"Mom! I am not suspended!" Art interrupted him.
Dumbledore smiled and said, "Hello, Mrs. Sullivan, may we come in?"
"Of course!"
They both entered the house and sat at the table. "Tim isn't home, he is still at school."
"That is fine. I came here to tell you that Art, with your permission, is planning on going overseas to America to attend the Ilvermorny School of Wizardry and Witchcraft." Dumbledore explained.
Bella was shocked and looked at Art then back to Dumbledore. "Is it a better school? Is that why you are sending him there?"
"Ilvermorney is a great school that has many merits but I can't say it is better or worse than Hogwarts." Art informed her. "I am going to broaden my horizons and meet wizards from other countries. Kind of like a student exchange, mom."
"I see. Will you be safe?" she asked, her maternal instincts coming out.
"Mr. Scamander will be joining Artland as he has some work that needs to be done in America." Dumbledore said.
"Well… Newt being there will make me feel better." Bella said quietly.
Art grabbed her hand and reassured her, "I will be fine mom. I am strong, remember?"
She gave Art a glare, "When will you leave?"
"Right after Christmas."
"Well I think Tim will be okay with it so I can't find a reason to say no." she gave a sigh, still worried about him.
Dumbledore stayed a while longer before leaving, telling Art that Newt would pick him up from home.
