Chapter 10: Horse back riding
Patty took her camera and capture the breathtaking floats. Ofcourse she don't want to miss this opportunity so she poke Tyler's arm. "umm would you please take a photo of me and the current float?" she shyly said.
"Okey." Tyler angled the lense and focus it to Mona's location. He can't help but take several photos of her. She looked innocence and charming with her smile. She reminded him his first crush when he was young.
"hey bro! Take a picture of us" Ericson said while moving to Mona's side.
He nodded and took a photo.
"Mona, stand beside Tyler so I can take a picture of you." Trixie winked at Patty that made her chicks blush. 'You owe me this one Patty' Trixie thought.
Patty stand beside Tyler some inches away.
"urgh Mona! Move closer so both of you can fit in." Trixie command.
Shyly, Patty looked at Tyler with her awkward smile and blushing cheeks. She moved closer that her body almost touch his body. She was feeling great for Trixie making this happened.
"Okey that's better! Both of you don't be so stiff and look at the lense then say cheese!"
Both of them looked at Trixie's location then said cheese with a smile.
After 2 hours, the parade was over and the crowd disperse. The four of them decided to go to 'Wright Park' where there are horses that can be hire.
They hired three horses. One for Trixie, one for Ericson and the other was for Tyler.
"Are you sure you don't want to ride?" Trixie asked Patty.
"Yes. You know I'm not good at horse back riding." Patty answered.
"Hey Mr. Tyler,would you be pleased if Mona will be riding with you?" Trixie now asked Tyler who was readying himself to ride the horse.
"I can take Mona" Ericson suggested.
"err, I prefer mr. Tyler to take my bestfriend." Trixie said frankly to Ericson.
"umm of its okey to Tyler?" Patty ask shyly.
" It's okey with me. You hop on first" Tyler said and assist Mona to sit on the saddle then he followed.
They start to move. Patty felt so blessed and kep on smiling the whole trip not wanting the moment to finish. While Tyler could smell the sweet flower fragrance of Mona's hair and he was enjoying it.
"May I ask why you said your not good at horse back riding?" He ask suddenly.
"I got injured before because of this." She said sadly. She was sad because three years ago, she fall on the ground while riding on Lightning her brother's horse that made her right leg paralyze for two years. She undergone several treatment and therapy just to walk again. And that's why she lost track at Tyler's whereabouts because her family wanted her to concentrate on her treatment so she can recover soon.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Tyler said sensing that Mona was upset upon remembering.
