Chapter 8: Sleepy head
At that night, Patty was wide awake while her bestfriend was sleeping soundly. Her mind can't stop processing from the event that happened. He bumped at Tyler and she thought she skipped the chance getting close to him but then they met again and even chatted for sometime. The gods may have seen her frustration that's why she gave her the second chance. 'thankyou for the second chance' she stare at the ceiling with her thoughts and fell asleep.
Next morning, Patty woke up at the sound of her phone. She sleepily glance at the caller id and it was "Pretty face"-Ericson saved name in her contacts. She slide her finger to accept the call.
"hello~"
"Good morning sleepyhead."
"it's still dawn Ericson. Give me 5 minutes more." then she hangs up and got back on her sleep.
After exactly 5 minutes, her phone begun to rang again and it was Ericson. 'urgh!' She answered the call irritably.
"Time's up. Wake up and we will fetch you at the lobby after 40 minutes." then the call ended. He sounded like a commander in charge of his soldier. But she ignores it and planning to go back to sleep when her conscience spoke up. "Were you going to let them wait?" At that instance, she sat up straight and pulled her hair tightly. 'They will fetch us at the lobby. It means, Tyler! Tyler would be there too! I can see him again! No, I can't let him wait for me." She get up from the bed and went to Trixie to wake her up. But unfortunately, Trixie was not responding. So she took a shower first and dress up. When she's done, Trixie was still sleeping.
Patty pulled the blanket away from her body that made her shiver. Trixie tried to pulled back the blanket with her eyes still shut but can't reach so she open her eyes and pouted at Patty. "Patty, please it's cold."
" You need to get up now Trix! Tyler and his friend will be waiting for us at the lobby within 25 minutes"
"Then let them wait! Its still dawn. Even the sun's still sleeping"
"miss Trixie Jimpson get up at this instance!" she commanded then sat beside her and flick some hair strands in Trixie's face."You know Tyler is important to me, right? Would your conscience bare the consequences if I missed this opportunity to get close to him?" with sadness in her voice and eyes, Trixie sat up straight and stretch her arms and legs then face Patty.
"Ofcourse not! But you must be my wallet for the day"
"I'm your walking ATM miss Trixie." Patty was so glad that she finally woke up Trixie. "Now you better hurry up! You still need to do my make up!"
" Oh right!"
Just like a turnado swirling across the room, just as fast as Flash could be, Trixie made herself took a bath, dressed and put the make up on her bestfriend's face not forgetting to put the mole under her left eye with the time left.
After 15 minutes, they went to the lobby and immediately saw the two boys waiting for them. Ericson smiled at seeing "Mona" appearance while Tyler just took a glance.
"Good morning ladies! We should go so we could have a good spot later on. Soon it will be crowded outside."Ericson said.
