Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Lilianne was laying down on her twin after a interesting day at school. "What do you mean you like me? There is nothing special about me! Why? Just why?" She keeps repeating these questions to herself inside her head as she lay there unable to concentrate on anything else. Her pale freckled limbs sprawled as she lay there on her back. Her strawberry- blond hair coming out of her loosely done ponytail. Lilianne Da vita is a senior, class of 2022, at arcadia valley high school. She is about 5.8 and has a kind and tender heart. Which is what gets her into these situations.
This wasn't the first time a boy had told her that she was special and that they liked her. But there was only one person that she wished had said that to her and he would never think of her as more than a friend. His name was Wade Gibson. He is also a senior, but he went to oak ridge high school. He is 6 foot and has a loyal and considerate nature. Lilianne has had a crush on him sense like 6th grade. When she first moved to ironton missouri and met his family in oak ridge. The only one who knows this is his sister Miranda Gibson. Miranda always supported Lilianne in liking her brother. So when this happened for the third time since school started up again, she decided to call Miranda.
"Hey Miranda!"
"Hey, what's up?!"
"Nothing. Just wanted to tell you that your brother better hurry up or I will be taken! I have been asked out three times this month. School just started and all the boys decided that august is ask lilianne out month!"
"Well you are quite a catch!"
"Yeah sure whatever ,but that doesn't mean ask her out because she is "superb"
" did you just put quotation marks over superb! I can hear you put quotation marks!"
"Yes, because i don't understand what everyone sees in me!"
"They see a kind hearted and tender, hardworking person who works her butt off at home to take care of her mom and works night shifts at the Hub Cafe from 4-9 p.m. everyday but Wednesdays and Sundays. You also do cross country and track! That is what they see! I still don't understand how you do it all!"
"Well i do get out 2 hours before everyone else because i have most of my credits. So that helps."
"Well, I have to go Wade is wanting me to go with him to go check on grandma up on the hill."
"Okay, well bye! And Miranda tell your Grandma and Wade hi for me!"
"Will do, bye!"
"Bye!" Lilianne said as she pressed off on the galaxy designed cell phone. Setting it down and plopping back down onto the bed. "What Miranda said was true but, if it is true then why doesn't Wade realize me". Lilianne went for a run wondering what Wade thought of her.
