Chapter 21: Darkness within

I was feeling great that day. As usual, I took my everyday newspaper with my milk tea and toast as a breakfast, before I was going for my work. I was a school teacher. My life was a simple equation. My parents never faced any problems to make me a good human. I was a some kind of a good result student from the beginning, not that much renown scholar or prize winner or anything, just a regular guy with normal boring life. Not that much of a good looking either, that girls could be attracted to me, just a chubby little guy but not fat, I must added on my behalf. My friends always said that my eyes must be the reason that made me kind, a cute guy, sweet little rabbit because of all their girlfriends and wives loved me after them. I was always their second choice and second best. However, I was taking a quick glance on my everyday newspaper articles when I saw a picture of a dead woman, naked, laying down on the sand of a beach. That image of the picture was unclear, her nudity couldn't be revealed on the normal eye of the public. She was a raped victim. Police founded her dead body last night, a drunken man informed them about the incident. From his eye witness report, he was sleeping on the beach, it was a dark, when he heard a microbus out of nowhere came, 5 or 6 guys hurriedly checked out the beach with careful eyes then dragged out a polythene wrapped human body. At first, he didn't understand. With those killers high powered torches, he learned it was a dead body. He was calmly laid down himself on the seashore grass, tried to hide himself as soundlessly as possible. They didn't see him. They put it down on the beach, called their contractor to report their recent activities. They were hired to rape and kill her. She was a girlfriend of one of a renowned family, but her boyfriend's family were against it and so was his chosen wife. That chosen wife was a daughter with a multimillionaire father who could do anything for his daughter but the irony was that those killer were hired by her and her brother. Both of them were being informed by the killers. Those killers were not skilled assassins. They were labour members who were working on the factories, carpenters, plumbers or beggars as far as the drunk man thought. For money, they even kill people. When they were reporting to their clients, they said to send them pictures of the dead body. They were arguing about it because it was so horrifying sight that they didn't wanted to see and take any photos of that dead body. But still for an evidence of their work, they had to reopened the package, took some pictures but those clients were not human he said, they told them to take picture of her torn breasts, ripped venus, slit lips and eyes, they even said to change her posture and took her different types of pictures. One of the killers, was angry to their inhuman behaviour. Those clients were laughing at her miserable sight. They said, they were coming to see her closely. After an hour, they came to look at her devastating looks. Both brother and sister were so happy by her naked, torn body, they paid them very generously and took more pictures of her and left her on the beach, naked in the dark. That drunken man was so afraid that it took him several hours before informing the police. Those policemen were feeling bad for her. She was a beautiful young, jolly girl at her young age, was enjoying her career life with her engaged boyfriend then that happened. There were engaged and supposed to get married that weekend. When the police informed her boyfriend, he was half mad, red eyes with tears, no signs of living human in him, pale skin, not a single word in his mouth, just seated down on the police station bench, hours after hours, starring at nowhere. Those policemen were feeling bad for him and gave him the permission to see her last time before her post-mortem. He could not hold himself, he was crying over her face. Those policeman were watching the whole thing and after 16 minutes, they took him out, his tears were not stopping him to lost his control over him. The policemen were trying to gather all the information about her killers. They took testimony of the boyfriend and started to digging on that brother and sister. They hide all the information about the eyewitness and afterwards. After reading such horrified incident, I took initiative action, I proposed my headteacher to give permission, to make a file of every students of my school with their student ID, so we could relocate them as long as they were with us. So, we could track their every activities after school hours till it was against the national laws, there no religious views would be included or would be affect their personal lifestyle. It would be monitored by all the heads of the school from headteacher to directors and chairman. Whenever any approval needed headteacher would inform the higher authorities. My headteacher loved the idea and accepted my proposal with parents approval. From my part, I tried to give all the securities to my kids for that time and other things only on the hand of God.
