Chapter 18: The Coolest Girl
The Qin family entered the house, but Qin Wuxie stays with He Rue watching the scene unfolding.
"Now, where are we? Ah, right. You wanted a fight, right Su Li? Unfortunately, you don't deserve a fight with me. You're too weak to be my enemy."
With a dark look, a cold smile appeared on her face unknowingly sending shivers to Su Li.
"B-tch! Get out here if you dare!" Su Mei screamed. Her look make He Rue and Qin Wuxie vomit in disgust.
Min Ju wave her index finger, "No, no, no. If you're brave enough you should enter. Because if you dare, I'm gonna make sure that you'll came out here, crying."
Why would she leave the gate? They came here in her territory. They should be the one entering.
"Damn it! Why are you so cool, Min Ju!" Exclaim Qin Wuxie. The shyness of the girl disappeared.
"Of course! Who am I?" she cupped her hands to her ears, waiting for a reply.
"You are Min Ju!" Answered He Rue.
"Yeah. Min Ju, the coollest girl in the entire universe!" Min Ju shamelessly declared.
And again, He Rue and Qin Wuxie clapped their hands to support her. Even the eight bodyguards cannot help but twitch their mouth.
"B-tch we're not done yet!" Su Mei grabbed her mother's wrist to leave and Su Li guide Old Grandma Shi to the car. They looked at Min Ju coldly before leaving.
A bitter smile escape from her lips and flickering lights flashes through her eyes. No one knows what Min Ju was thinking, "What a bore."
"Let's go. I'm going shower. I forgot I'm still in my pajamas."
The two laughed loudly, "Still, you're the coollest girl here." said Qin Wuxie.
In the Ru Family House, Ru Jin sat silently at his father's study not looking at him in the eyes.
"Do you know what you did? Ru Jin, I never taught you to be this playful! Did you ever think the consequences?! Hurting that girl means offending the whole Qin Family! You made her fall for you and now what?! You didn't even take responsibility for her feelings! 2 years! 2 years you've been playing with her feelings?! Can't you see what others thought about you?! Your a jerk! A big damn jerk!?" His father roared at him. The veins on his neck and temple are clearly visible. His face red from anger!
"You take your friends bet without even thinking?! Are you that dumb? You didn't even think about the background of the girl! You only have a glib tongue but don't have brains! When we thought we can finally make connection to the Qin Family, you ruin it just for that girl name Su Mei. How can that Su girl compare to Qin Wuxie? That girl only knows how to seduce you while Qin Wuxie is a pure hearted girl with etiquette!" Ru Jun's hand slam the table. He was so angry that his child is so brainless!
"But dad...don't talk about Su Mei like that. She didn't seduce me, I fall in love with her. Their company is a trading company that had grown extremely big as the years go by. They cannot compare with the publishing company of the Qin Family!" Ru Jin retorted albeit respectful.
"Nonsense. You don't how what's going on around the business circle. Do you think that old man Mr. Fu gave all what he had to his wife leaving nothing to himself? He had another grandchildren abroad! How can he let go of everything and give it to Miss Shi? What about his grandchildren, they will have nothing left." Ru Jun was smart and cunning. He was in the same generation with Su Jing and Min Zhe, how can he not know what a woman's thinking? They are all the same. They will fancy the most powerful. Of course, except his wife.
"You mean they set Mr. Fu on giving up his company?" Ru Jin immediately caught on.
Finally, his brain are working. Ru Jun thought.
"What do you think? I heard that Mr. Fu had been borrowing money to his friends. What a poor old man. Outsmarted by her ex-wife. " Ru Jun shook his head.
Back to the Fu Manor, Old Man Qin and Grandfather Fu was been talking nonstop. Lost on their old worlds.
Qin Mo, her husband and the eldest sis was there, eating some sweet snacks and drinking tea.
"I heard you had a grandson. Where is he?" Old Man Qin curiously ask. He wants to know if Min Ju and him are fraternal or identical twins. He was just overly curious. He haven't had twin grandchildrens so he was slightly jealous of this Grandfather Fu.
The Qin trio perk their ears. Wanting to hear what Grandfather Fu's answer.
"He...uh..."
"My twin is still missing." A crisp voice landed on everyone's ears.
"The time he heard about the divorce, he instantly boarded a plane back here in Beijing. Unfortunately, the plane...got a little bit of trouble." Min Ju's throat became dry. Unable to bring out that her twin's plane, crash. He might be alive...or dead.
"I believe that he was still alive..." And then she left.
The Qin family immediately understand what she said. A plane crash has been all over the news this days. Flight number 122XX. The searchers still not found any survivors.
Old Man Qin was quiet. He doesn't know what to say. Because he had been paying attention all over the news about a plane crash not long ago.
Qin Wuxie was about to follow her but He Rue stop her. She shake her head, indicating that they have to leave her alone for the time being.
She needs time for herself.
