Chapter 13: Su Mei
"I was wondering if they are twins who got separated. They look exactly alike you know. However, they are actually not. Am I being to cliché if that happens?" He Rue can't still get over about the movie Monte Carlo. Even though she had watched it several times she still cannot help but to comment this.
"Maybe?" Min Ju asked with a confuse look and then proceeded to do Qin Wuxie's make up. She painted the woman's pink lips with red. While He Rue curled up Wuxie's brown hair using the curler.
"There! It's done! You look stunning." Min Ju put back all the cosmetics inside the pouch.
"Here. Let's take a photo together."
The three pose in the picture and they decided to post that in their social media account.
Min Ju have known a lot of people abroad and it garnered a lot of likes, however, these people are all just acquaintances. The only thing she considered friends are those people who she had play games in the past. Ha! Even her ex liked her picture! Hmp! Be dazzled by my beauty you cheater!
"Still as beautiful as ever." He commented with a heart emoji causing Min Ju to throw the phone onto the sofa aggressively.
"What's wrong with you?" The two looked at Min Ju.
"Nothing. Let's go or we'll be late."
Qin Wuxie's driver was already waiting for them outside. Earlier, she had texted the driver in advance that he will be the one responsible on sending them to Astrid at City B.
Seeing three stunning beauties, the driver never would have thought that he will have the honor to serve these three people. They look exactly like royalties.
Opening the door for them, he gently invite them to enter. He was even enjoying this as a driver.
"Where to go, Miss?" The driver asked smiling politely.
"To Astrid." The three replied in unison.
"Okay. Buckle up. This driver will bring you there in an hour!"
For over an hour, the three of them just talk about some random things together and from time to time the driver would also join the chat with them. Making them laughed. He also compliment how beautiful they are. Well, they are already beautiful and now they look even more beautiful.
The car stops in front of the hotel entrance. Other people are already entering the venue with their best dresses and tuxedo.
The first to climb down was He Rue, next was Qin Wuxie and last but not the least was Min Ju. All of them garnered the attention of the crowd outside. Their tall, fair skin and beautiful body structure are a sight to be hold. They look elegant and gorgeous and the person who has the most powerful presence is the tallest girl in black glittering dress. It was Min Ju.
When did Ru Jin invited this people?
"How do I look?" Qin Wuxie turn towards the two.
"Like a Queen men would kneeled for." Min Ju's lips hook up into a smile. Looking at that cool and pretty face, the shy girl cannot help but blush.
"You think so?"
"Didn't you know that all girls are Queen? All of us have our own crowns. We are born a Queen. Always remember that, okay?" Min Ju carefully tuck a strands of Qin Wuxie's hair behind her ears.
"Hmm. I will."
"Chin up, back straight and smile. Be proud for you are a beauty." Min Ju pushed Qin Wuxie gently to give her some confidence, "We got your back." She said.
Because that's what friends for, right? Having each other's back?
The trio entered the hotel. The inside was just luxurious as the outside conveyed. The huge chandelier hung above the ceiling.
Min Ju and He Rue's eyes glisten as they saw the food display in the sides for later. The most eye catching one was the huge cake! It almost like a wedding cake. Damn this rich people. Min Ju thought, forgetting the fact that she has 34 Million RMB in her account.
"Where's your babe, Wuxie?" He Rue poke the girl's waist causing for her to jolt on surprise.
"Rue..." She look at her with complaining eyes, "Don't do that."
He Rue laughed. "You're still shy in front of us. Didn't you know friends do this too?" The girl proceeded to poke the delicate waist of Wuxie. Not getting a reaction, she finally decided to tickle the woman.
"Hahaha. Rue, can't you stop that? We are in public. It's embarrassing. People are watching us."
He Rue stops and look around. Some of the guest are staring at them. Now that they had look at it. The guest are only for young adults like them. There are no old women and men.
"Even his parents isn't here?" Wuxie asked confused.
"So, you mean, it's just us young adults on this party?"
"Yeah."
On the other hand, Min Ju was silent. She was busy watching a man and a woman kissing at the corner.
This woman was her stepsister, Su Mei. And who's this person she is kissing? She doesn't know and she doesn't care. However, this kind of couple disgust her. Doing something so intimate in a public place. Can't they help themselves? Why attend a party if they are just doing that here? Just rent a room will you?!
Seeing her friend's dark expression, He Rue followed her sight only to find Su Mei kissing a man so intimately.
"The damnable woman is actually here!"
Qin Wuxie was looking around for her boyfriend. However, even if she looked around she cannot find him. Even in his friend's circle, he weren't there.
And hearing the annoyed tone of He Rue she turn around to her and ask, "Who?"
"Su Mei. Min Ju's step fucking sister. Sorry for the bad words but I can't help it." She apologizes and looked darkly at Su Mei's direction.
Just as Qin Wuxie followed her gaze, her face immediately turn pale.
